I. A world government was formed at the Copenhagen Climate Control / Global Warming summit, despite all the public rhetoric that the summit was a failure.

II. The Senate passed a somewhat weakened National Health Care Bill at 1AM, Monday morning.

Suddenly, Congressional leaders are talking about getting the Health Care Bill passed into law by Christmas!

"Democrats won a major victory in their push for health care reform early Monday morning as the Senate voted to end debate on a package of controversial revisions to a sweeping $871 billion bill. The 60-40 party-line vote, cast shortly after 1 a.m., kept Senate Democrats on track to pass the bill on Christmas Eve. If it passes, the measure will then have to be merged with a roughly $1 trillion plan passed by the House of Representatives in November. Shortly after the vote, the Senate went into recess until noon Monday."

"The vote left President Obama on the cusp of claiming victory on his top domestic priority and enacting the biggest expansion of federal health care guarantees since the enactment of Medicare and Medicaid over four decades ago ... 'The die is cast. It's done', New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer proclaimed after the vote."

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, (D-Nevada), presented the effects of this monumental change in the nation's health care system in glowing terms.

" 'Today, the Senate took another historic step toward our goal of delivering access to quality, affordable health care to all Americans', Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, said in a statement. The bill will help 'promote choice and competition to drive down skyrocketing health care costs for families ... all across America'."

Remember Dr. James Dobson's revelation in 1986 that Congressional votes are fixed? Quoting from a very old Headline News article, we read:

This provision forcing Christian Churches not to "discriminate" against homosexuals and transsexuals smacks of the recent "Hate Crimes Bill" which President Obama recently signed into law. Do not be deceived: this is the new age of Sodom, and no one will be allowed to preach the Biblical standard regarding homosexuality. Soon, Christian leaders across this land will be swept up in a wave of arrests for the "crime" of warning sinners of God's eternal, immutable stand against the gay lifestyle.
