The thought of David's heart at this time was a false thought, because he certainly had no ground for thinking that God's anointing him by Samuel was intended to be left as an empty unmeaning act. On no one occasion had the Lord deserted His servant; he had been placed in perilous positions very often, but not one instance had occurred in which divine interposition had not delivered him.

The trials to which he had been exposed had been varied; they had not assumed one form only, but many--yet in every case He who sent the trial had also graciously ordained a way of escape. David could not put his finger upon any entry in his diary, and say of it, "Here is evidence that the Lord will forsake me," for the entire tenor of his past life proved the very reverse. He should have argued from what God had done for him, that God would be his defender still. But is it not just in the same way that we doubt God's help? Is it not mistrust without a cause? I. Israel has gone to war against all her combined Palestinian enemies -- Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and Hizbullah in Lebanon. This war is not likely to explode into the all-out Regional Middle East war which shall start the World War III designed to produce Antichrist.

The IDF is smashing infrastructure, killing militants, and trying to eliminate the war-making potential of the Palestinians -- with a very distinctive goal in mind. Let us review the current news.

NEWS BRIEF: "Analysis: Israel at war", by David Horovitz, The Jerusalem Post, July 14, 2006

"Two days of dizzying escalation, and there can be no illusions: Israel is at war."

As anyone who has been following the progression of this current round of fighting can see, Israel is truly at war. Yet, to ascertain the direction this war is likely to go, one has to examine closely with whom Israel is at war. She is at war with various Palestinian groups: Palestinian Authority, Hamas terror group, and Hizbullah in Lebanon.

Just as important, it is necessary to see with whom Israel is not at war: Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Iran.

In other words, Israel is not at war with established nations, but with the entire front of Palestinian terror groups.

Therefore, as long as Israel does not engage one or more of these established nations, the fighting is not likely to erupt into the planned all-out Middle East Regional War which will trigger World War III. As long as Israel's goal is to attack and destroy the capability of these Palestinian terror groups to attack and harass Israel, this war will stay contained. However, if any one of these nations is attacked, or if any one attacks Israel, then the focus does, indeed, shift to Regional War and World War III.

However, for reasons stated below, I do not believe this war will be allowed to move beyond its current constraints.

Let us now return to our featured editorial, above.

"A tactical failure by the IDF on the Gaza border barely two weeks ago prompted a drastic escalation on that front. Wednesday's still-graver tactical blow in the North has now led to a confrontation affecting immense numbers of civilians on either side of the Lebanese border, with the potential to impact other nations as well." (Ibid.)

The " tactical failure by the IDF on the Gaza border" of which Horovitz speaks is the capture of an IDF soldier. The " still-graver tactical blow in the North" is a reference to a well-orchestrated Hizbullah attack on the Lebanese border which resulted in two more IDF soldiers being abducted. Because of these kidnappings, Prime Minister Olmert and his Cabinet -- including the top leadership of the Israeli Defense Force -- have unleashed the conventional military capabilities of the IDF against all Palestinian terror groups.\

The reality that makes these kidnappings so interesting is that this is not the first time Palestinian terror groups have kidnapped Israeli soldiers. The response of the Israeli government to past kidnappings has ranged from negotiations which have resulted in release of Palestinian prisoners, to an IDF commando raid to free the hostage. Never has the Israeli government "over-reacted" in this manner, i.e., unleashing a huge IDF conventional military operation.

Remembering our first assertion, that Israel is seeking to destroy the war-making capabilities of these terrorist groups, let us also remember that one of Israel's first responses to this soldier kidnapping was to arrest many Hamas leaders who had recently assumed positions of governmental authority in the Palestinian Authority. Israeli troops seized 64 members of Hamas in the West Bank, including a third of the Palestinian cabinet and 23 legislators, a move that Israeli officials said indicated a significant change in Israel's policy toward the Hamas government.

This assessment is entirely correct: Israel is attacking the entire leadership of the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and Hizbullah Using these kidnappings as an excuse, Prime Minister has sent the IDF into conventional military action against the war-making capability of these terror groups. As Rush Limbaugh loves to say, "the purpose of the military is to break things and kill people".

We believe the purpose of this war is to abolish the capability of the entire coalition of Palestinian terror groups, and to topple the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority. If the focus of this war is kept within these boundaries, the IDF will destroy a lot of buildings, military targets and kill a lot of militants.

But, at this time, the war will not spread to established Arab governments in the region. Thus, the feared World War III is still a ways off.

II. President Bush made it quite clear this week that he had approved of Israel's offensive as he jumped to Israel's defense -- both rhetorical defense plus active defense on Israel's behalf in the United Nations.

NEWS BRIEF: "Bush defends Israeli strikes into Lebanon", Business Day, 14 July 2006

"US PRESIDENT George Bush yesterday defended Israel’s attacks on targets in Lebanon but said the Israelis should be careful not to weaken the fragile government there. Bush and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, speaking at a joint news conference after talks in northeastern Germany, made clear they felt Israel’s actions in seeking kidnapped soldiers and responding to Hizbullah rocket attacks were justified."

Not too many weeks ago, Prime Minister Olmert trekked to Washington, D.C., to meet with President Bush. Reports indicated that the two men did not see eye-to-eye on some important issues, especially on the issue of Olmert's Unilateral Withdrawal Plans. After backing such plans while Sharon was P.M., President Bush was strikingly noncommittal to Olmert's plan to continue Sharon's master plan.

However, President Bush was very firm during his remarks, after his meeting with Germany's Chancellor Merkel on 13 July. Listen:

" 'Israel has the right to defend herself', Bush said. 'Secondly, whatever Israel does, though, should not weaken the Siniora government in Lebanon', he said, referring to Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora." (Ibid.)

What I find very curious is that Israel should take the kidnapping of its soldiers during a terrorist attack as an "act of war" which would require this kind of heavy-handed Israeli response. In the past, whenever, Israeli soldiers have been kidnapped, Israel has not responded in this fashion. I wonder if Olmert feels it necessary to establish to the Israeli people that he is a really tough guy, a leader of the kind of caliber Sharon demonstrated on the field of battle when he was an active general?

Since Olmert is about to lead Israel into the final phase of Unilateral Withdrawal -- the West Bank -- he and his IDF leadership might feel it necessary that Olmert be viewed in this vein by the Israeli electorate.

One other matter is clear: President Bush would not have dared speak these words in front of Germany's Chancellor unless she agreed with the President's stand; and, if Germany's Chancellor supports Bush stand on this Israeli war, then so does the EU. Thus, we see the specter of Israel being supported by America and the official government of the European Union.

Now, let us see how President Bush came to Israel's defense in the United Nations. Notice that America's vote was the only negative one. The rest of the world stood against Israel.

NEWS BRIEF: "US vetoes UN resolution urging end to Israeli attacks in Gaza", Breitbart, July; 13, 2006

"The United States vetoed a UN draft resolution that would have called for an end to Israeli attacks and 'disproportionate use of force' in the Gaza Strip as well as for the release of a kidnapped Israeli soldier. The Security Council resolution received 10 votes, one against from the United States with four abstentions, French Ambassador Jean-Marc de la Sabliere, the council president for July, announced. Explaining his negative vote, US Ambassador John Bolton described the text as 'unbalanced' and was 'not only untimely but also outmoded' because of the attacks against Israel by Lebanese Hizbullah militants ... He said adoption of the resolution would have exacerbated tensions in the region and would have undermined "our vision of two democratic states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security."

"The United States, Israel's staunchest ally, last used its veto in the Security Council in October 2004, to block a similar draft demanding that Israel end all military operations in northern Gaza and withdraw from the area."

President Bush's statement and the firm action from his United Nations envoy -- the "hardliner" John Bolton -- indicates to me that this entire operation is being under-girded by the United States. In fact, I suspect that this operation was discussed between Bush and Olmert during their recent meeting.

If President Bush did privately sanction this "IDF smash mouth" operation, then his power as the President of the United States -- plus the power of the European Union -- will serve as the power which will keep this war limited to the Palestinians. Israel will probably not attack Syria, for the time to reduce Damascus to a "heap of ruins" (Isaiah 17:1) is not yet at hand. Israel will probably not attack Jordan, for her prophetic destruction in Isaiah 34 is not yet at hand. And, finally, Egypt will do everything in her power to avoid a war with mighty Israel.

While this war will generate a lot of explosive headlines and burning pictures, it will not cause the Middle East Region to explode in war as long as its scope is contained within the Palestinian context.

III. Iraq teetered further on the brink of Civil War as open warfare seemed to erupt between Sunni and Shi'ite factions.

NEWS BRIEF: "Iraq 'on the edge of civil war' ", by By Joshua Partlow and Saad al-Izzi, The Washington Post, reprinted by The Denver Post, July 14, 2006

"Baghdad, Iraq - Shiite Muslim gunmen rampaged through a Sunni Arab neighborhood in Baghdad early Sunday, killing more than 50 people and discarding bodies in the streets, according to Iraqi officials and witnesses. Hours later, attackers struck back, detonating two car bombs near a Shiite mosque. Sunni politicians described the violence against the Sunni residents of the al-Jihad neighborhood in western Baghdad as one of the most cold-blooded murder sprees since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003. Sectarian killings escalated sharply across Iraq after a bomb destroyed a revered Shiite shrine in Samarra on Feb. 22. The bombing prompted reprisal attacks on Sunni mosques and pushed the country further toward all-out civil war."

Actually, I believe this rhetorical debate as to whether Iraq is "headed for civil war" is moot, for that country has been in a civil war for many months now. For the past several months, we have repeatedly posted articles in our Daily News Updates section with the title, "Iraq being pushed into civil war", or "Iraq is being pushed to the brink of civil war".

After posting thousands of articles over this period, I can only say that Iraq has been in a civil war since at least February. I really do not know what purpose is being served by posting these headlines again and again, pretending that the country is still not in a civil war. Really, I suppose Americans might feel more kindly toward President Bush and his policies if they believe the country is "on the brink" of civil war, rather than sinking further into it.

What I think this news story represents is a moving into a higher degree of civil war, rather than proof that Iraq is about to go into one.

Let us listen to the reasons these authors list for believing that Iraq is close to slipping into Civil War. Notice how bold and brutal these insurgents have become. Even with Coalition Forces and Iraqi police units maintaining control over the area, these insurgents are showing no fear as they strike in daylight and right out on the open.

* "In Baghdad, the armed men descended on the al-Jihad neighborhood in buses after sunrise. They set up checkpoints along a main commercial street, demanded identification cards from passers-by and burst into homes to single out Sunni Arabs to kill..."

* "One resident, Hazim al-Rawi, said he gathered up his family and fled the neighborhood after he saw 15 bodies outside his home. Some of them were tortured with drills', he said of the bodies. 'Some of them were hanged by ropes'."

* "Sunni politicians said the spate of attacks gravely exacerbated the problems in Baghdad, where killings occur almost daily, and they accused Iraqi police of collaborating with Shiite militiamen in the violence. 'This is a new step. A red line has been crossed', said Alaa Makky, a Sunni member of parliament. 'People have been killed in the streets; now they are killed inside their homes'."

* "Attackers retaliated by detonating two bombs in cars parked at al-Timim Shiite mosque in central Baghdad. At least 12 people were killed, including five policemen, and 18 were wounded ... Associated Press reported that 17 people were killed and 38 hurt."

* "Police picked up 57 bodies from the al-Jihad neighborhood, and three Interior Ministry police were also killed there, said Ali Hussein, a commando with the Interior Ministry who ferried bodies to Baghdad's Yarmouk Hospital. Gen. Saad Mohammed al-Tamini of the Interior Ministry confirmed that more than 50 people were killed."

* "Some of the corpses that littered the streets lay handcuffed, pocked with bullet holes, while others were pierced with bolts and nails ..."

The brutality of these murders demonstrates the basic values and attitudes of the insurgents, many of whom are using the Coalition invasion of Iraq as an excuse to settle disputes hundreds of years old. This is the way of life in Iraq. Only Saddam, the ultimate Strongman, hold these various religious groups together. Now that he is gone, Iraq is likely to be split into three sections: Kurds, Sunni, Shi'ite.

And, then the bloodbath will truly begin.

IV. Editorials abounded this week, calling President Bush's Foreign Policy an abject failure and declaring that the "era of Cowboy Diplomacy" is at an end!

NEWS BRIEF: "TIME MAG: THE END OF COWBOY DIPLOMACY", Drudge Report, July 8, 2006

"In the span of four years, the Bush Administration has been forced to rethink the pre-emptive "Bush doctrine" by which it hoped to remake the world, as the strategy's ineffectiveness was exposed by the very policies it prescribed ... President George W. Bush came to office pledging to focus on domestic issues and pursue a "humble" foreign policy that would avoid the entanglements of the Bill Clinton years."

At this point in President Bush's second term, it seems laughable that Bush actually pledged to "avoid the entanglements of the Bill Clinton years."

It also seems ludicrous that Bush pledged to follow a "humble" foreign policy, given his invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, his torture policy of all "terrorist prisoners", the sexual humiliation scandal as represented by the graphic pictures of Abu Ghraib, and his arrogant "strike first" policy that warned foreign nations they could find themselves under American attack if the President even remotely thought they might pose a threat!

We should understand, once and for all, that a politician's promises during the heat of a campaign mean absolutely nothing. If you were not aware of this fact beforehand, you should really change your outlook on the political processes of this country.

What allowed President Bush to change his tune? In a word: 9/11

"After Sept. 11, however, the Bush team embarked on a different path, outlining a muscular, idealistic, and unilateralist vision of American power and how to use it ... They aimed to lay the foundation for a grand strategy to fight Islamic terrorists and rogue states, by spreading democracy around the world and pre-empting gathering threats before they materialize ... The approach fit with Bush's personal style, his self-professed proclivity to dispense with the nuances of geopolitics and go with his gut."

Remembering that Time Magazine is thoroughly Elitist and very much in support of the Plan for a Global Government, Economy, and Religion, you must realize the absolute phony nature of this criticism. As we began to say in February, 2004, when you see one Illuminist criticizing another, you realize that you are witnessing the outworking of a master plan.

In this case, we believed all these Illuminists criticizing President Bush added up to a discrediting campaign designed to impeach the President, at least in the courts of Public Opinion. Recent slippage in Public Opinion polls, plus the belief that Bush is the worst President in modern history, are proofs that our original premise is correct.

Now, let us examine a foreign view of President Bush in this time in his Presidency. You will find similar views to the Time Magazine article.

NEWS BRIEF: "Arms of Flesh or Arms of Steel?", World News, 10 July 2006

"As President Bush continues to tout that the three year-old military invasion of Iraq was the beginning of Middle Eastern Democracy, and while he carelessly allows Israeli forces to push deeper into Gaza ... it is evident that his Pre-emptive Doctrine and foreign policy priorities are completely missing the mark ..."

This author then relates how President Carter got Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Begin to sign their historic peace agreement. President Carter is said to have used his "Arms of Flesh" to carry the day for the peace accord.

"During the historic meeting at Camp David, President Carter claimed Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat constantly argued about ancient wrongs, border disputes, and differing religious views. At one point, Menachem Begin exploded, stood-up and started to walk out of the front door. President Carter literally rushed over, blocked the exit, put his hands on the Israeli Prime Minister‘s arms and shoulders, and refused to allow him to leave until a peace accord was signed. Thirteen days later, with hours of discussions and dialogue behind them, President Anwar Sadat, the leader of a predominantly Islamic country-Egypt, and Prime Minister Menachem Begin, the head of a predominantly Jewish nation-Israel, committed to a lasting Middle East peace agreement."

Using the "Arms of Flesh" illustration, this editorial believes that this is the approach which will finally solve the Israeli - Palestinian problem.

"If President Bush and his Administration really wants to establish democracy in the Middle East, they should addressed the Palestinian-Israeli Issue and how it relates to the surrounding Arab nations. The 1993 Declaration of Principles and The Oslo Agreement, proposing an independent Palestinian and Israeli State living peacefully side by side, must be revisited and acted upon ... if it takes U.S. citizens protesting the billions of dollars of military aid given to Israel, like the Apache Attack Helicopters and D-C Caterpillars that destroy homes and lives; if it takes pressuring the Bush Administration to re-focus its attention on the Israeli-Palestinian Crisis and prevent a humanitarian disaster in Gaza instead of slaying the Axis of Evil with Arms of Steel; then these will be the necessary steps towards The Real Global War On Terror and the defeat of Militant Christianity, Militant Judaism, and Militant Islam."

President Bush is said to be following an "Arms of Steel" approach when the real solution lies in the "tough love" provisions now labeled "Arms of Steel". This is the way foreigners view President Bush's arrogant leadership since 9/11. Whether you agree with this view or not, this is the way foreigners view President Bush.

Another author believes that current events could mean a slide into World War III.

NEWS BRIEF: "It's WWIII, and U.S. is out of ideas", Editorial by Michael Goodwin, New York Daily News, July 9, 2006

"Last week's headlines prove the point: North Korea fires missiles, Iran talks of nukes again, Iraq carnage continues, Israel invades Gaza, England observes one-year anniversary of subway bombing. And, oh, yes, the feds stop a plot to blow up tunnels under the Hudson River."

"World War III has begun."

This next segment illustrates the author's understanding that some wars take a while to build up to the actual all-out fighting phase.

"It's not perfectly clear when it started. Perhaps it was after the Berlin Wall fell and the Cold War ended. Perhaps it was the first bombing of the World Trade Center, in 1993. What is clear is that this war has a long fuse and, while we are not in the full-scale combat phase that marked World Wars I and II, we seem to be heading there. The expanding hostilities mean it's time to give this conflict a name, one that focuses the mind and clarifies the big picture. The war on terror, or the war of terror, has tentacles that reach much of the globe. It is a world war."

Indeed, the world is facing a world war, with "war and rumors of wars" covering the entire globe. We shall address this issue more indepth as we speak of the Indian terrorist bomb blasts last week, but suffice it to say that this war is being deliberately started in a lot of different types of conflicts.

But, to say that the world is currently in the throes of a World War III is misleading, because the Illuminist Plan for such a war is clearly spelled out.

We have outlined the planned World War III as the Illuminati has envisioned it in our Headline News article, NEWS1781. Please read this article so you will be really informed as to what events are truly planned to lead the world into the World War III which will produce the Masonic Christ.

V. As America, Europe and other Western powers began to put further pressure on Iran to totally give up her nuclear program, this Arab editorial hits the nail right on the head! The Western World is responsible for this drive to achieve nuclear weapons!

NEWS BRIEF: "Big Powers Responsible for Spreading N-Weapons", Arab News, 14 July 2006

"The US nod to the Indian and Pakistani nuclear programs and its inability to stop Iranian nuclear experiments apparently prompted North Korea to go ahead with its missile programs and make giant strides in the technology of long haul weapon-carrying missile launchers. The US and its allies have further been alarmed by the reported North Korean stock of plutonium with an estimated potential to produce 13 bombs with infinite destructive power."

We reported the North Korean belief enunciated two years ago by that country's top leadership. In their eyes, President Bush was afraid that Saddam did possess workable Weapons of Mass Destruction that had been properly "militarized", i.e., the warheads had been produced so that they could be readily delivered by airplane, by missile, and/or by units on the field. Bush simply could not commit American forces to a battlefield which could be engulfed by nuclear, chemical, and/or biological weapons.

Therefore, President Bush angrily pushed the United Nations into sending their teams of arms investigators into Iraq to search for WMD. After UN investigator reported they could find no evidence that Iraq possessed workable WMD, Bush rejected their conclusions, insisting they go look again. American CIA and Pentagon sources even provided UN arms investigators with specific coordinates at which we suspected WMD to be stored. Finally, after over one full year of being told by UN investigators that there was absolutely no evidence that Iraq possessed WMD which could be fired at American troops, President Bush ordered the invasion.

Had Saddam truly possessed "militarized" Weapons of Mass Destruction, President Bush would never have dared invade Iraq. Therefore, in the view of the North Koreans and the Iranians, the one true way in which to keep America from ever invading is to really possess Weapons of Mass Destruction which can be accurately delivered on the battlefield in real-time warfare.

Both North Korea and Iran currently possess this kind of WMD, which is why Bush has been full of hot air for three years, but noticeably lacking in concrete action.

Now, we encourage you return to our featured article, as the author speaks to how the nuclear-capable large Western powers crafted the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in such a way as to keep the technology out of the hands of countries who do not already possess such weaponry, while reserving the right to strike any country who tries to develop nuclear technology. While the NPT ignores Israel's possession of nuclear weapons, it refuses the right of any nation to try to develop that weapons technology.

In other words, this is a totally lopsided agreement which the Western World has tried to force upon Third World Countries.

While this segment is too long to reprint here, we encourage you to read it through, for then you will understand the loathing and hatred many Third World countries feel toward the United States and Israel right now. This hatred has reached the point where the prophecies of Zechariah 12 may soon be occurring.

Behold A Pale Horse

VI. The coordinated, nearly simultaneous, bomb blasts against India's major commuter rail line sends the message that the kind of terrorism the Western world has spread around the world -- most recently against India. Remember the truth, as explained by New Age author, Bill Cooper:

"... the secret societies were planning as far back as 1917 to invent an artificial threat ... in order to bring humanity together in a one-world government which they call the New World Order." [Bill Cooper, "Behold A Pale Horse", p. 27; Cooper is a New Age author exposing the horror of this plan]

"Take control of the world ... to reduce ... the world to a safe level by a process of benevolent slavery and genocide." [Ibid., p. 49]

"Indian security agencies have carried out a number of raids in Mumbai as the investigation continues into yesterday's train bomb attacks that killed more than 200 people. The Mumbai police anti-terrorism squad carried out raids throughout the night in guest houses. More than 150 people have been detained for questioning ... Police believe the bombs were kept in the luggage rack of the first class compartments and timers were used to trigger the blast. They are also analyzing cell phone calls made from near the blast sites."

"Tuesday's attacks on crowded evening rush-hour railway carriages and stations in the space of just 11 minutes also wounded around 700 people. Suspicions have fallen on the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group, which is fighting Indian rule in Kashmir. Authorities say the group was also behind bomb blasts that killed more than 60 people in crowded markets in New Delhi last October. However, the group has denied any involvement." (Ibid.)

The 11-minute window strongly suggests the Illuminati hand behind this bombing, because "11" is such a sacred number to this leadership, so important that the attacks against American targets on 9/11/2001 had 18 elevens underlying the whole tragedy. Now you know why very few Americans voiced any opposition or alarm to the awful reality that both candidates for the 2004 Presidential race were Skull & Bones Adepts. According to the informative book, "Fleshing Out Skull & Bones - The Whole Story", President George Bush was of the Skull Class of 191968, while Senator John Kerry was a member of the Class of 1966.
