I. Dr. James Dobson -- Focus on the Family -- launches a broadside barrage against Senator Obama, accusing him of distorting the Bible!

NEWS BRIEF: "Obama accused of twisting the bible to confuse US voters", The Guardian (London), June 25, 2008

"Barack Obama today came under fire from James Dobson, founder of the conservative Focus on the Family organisation, who accused the likely Democratic nominee of twisting the Bible to confuse people. The attack from Dobson, a leading figure of the Christian Right, was framed as a wholesale rejection of Obama's views on faith, and appeared intended to thwart his efforts to reach out to evangelical Christians."

The "Christian Right" is a favorite term of Liberal demagogues who wish to denigrate us, and eventually, to set us up for persecution. Dr. Dobson is widely seen as a key leader of the "Christian Right". Note that the last sentence of this paragraph, above, states that Dobson's attack "appeared intended to thwart his (Obama's) efforts to reach out to evangelical Christians."

If this were true, then Dr. Dobson might seem to be acting on behalf of the Republican Presidential nominee, John McCain. Indeed, Cutting Edge has consistently noted that Dobson has been a strong supporter of President Bush, so an effort here against McCain's Fall opponent would not be a surprise. However, Dr. Dobson has stated that he could not vote for McCain in "good conscience" because he is not convinced that the Arizona Senator is a true Conservative.

NEWS BRIEF: "Dobson accuses Obama of 'distorting' Bible", My Way News, June 23, 2008

"COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - As Barack Obama broadens his outreach to evangelical voters, one of the movement's biggest names, James Dobson, accuses the likely Democratic presidential nominee of distorting the Bible and pushing a 'fruitcake interpretation' of the Constitution."

Specifics of Dobson's Allegation

"Dobson took aim at examples Obama cited in asking which Biblical passages should guide public policy - chapters like Leviticus, which Obama said suggests slavery is OK and eating shellfish is an abomination, or Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, 'a passage that is so radical that it's doubtful that our own Defense Department would survive its application'."

When Senator Obama starts complaining about Jesus' Sermon on the Mount being 'radical', I have serious problems with it; furthermore, America's Defense Department would absolutely flunk the precepts of the Sermon on the Mount. These precepts demonstrate the type of person which Born Again Christians are to be. The manner in which our Defense Department leadership has served the Illuminati so well in the past 100 years makes it impossible for anyone to think that the principles of the Sermon on the Mount to apply to them!

"Dobson and Minnery accused Obama of wrongly equating Old Testament texts and dietary codes that no longer apply to Jesus' teachings in the New Testament. 'I think he's deliberately distorting the traditional understanding of the Bible to fit his own worldview, his own confused theology', Dobson said. .. 'He is dragging biblical understanding through the gutter'."

"Dobson reserved some of his harshest criticism for Obama's argument that the religiously motivated must frame debates over issues like abortion not just in their own religion's terms but in arguments accessible to all people. He said Obama, who supports abortion rights, is trying to govern by the 'lowest common denominator of morality', labeling it 'a fruitcake interpretation of the Constitution'."

Dobson then cuts to the heart of the matter.

" 'Am I required in a democracy to conform my efforts in the political arena to his bloody notion of what is right with regard to the lives of tiny babies?' Dobson said. 'What he's trying to say here is unless everybody agrees, we have no right to fight for what we believe'."

Indeed, Obama seems to advocating the Ecumenical view on issues of faith and morality. Rather than a person sticking to his guns on a particular issue based upon what the Bible says, Obama wants us all to go along with the majority view, giving up our objections if our view is in the minority.

This viewpoint constitutes the "Broad Road" of faith and morality, a road which Jesus warned against but which Senator Obama is advocating. Listen to Jesus' warnings against traveling the Broad Road:

II. President Bush's plan to set in place a Palestinian State before he leaves office has just received a strong supporting hand!

PM Olmert has reached agreement which will allow his Coalition to stay in power, probably through the end of the year.

NEWS BRIEF: "Israeli PM Olmert avoids new elections with coalition deal", The Guardian (London), June 25, 2008

"The Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, appeared today to have negotiated a last-minute deal to head off a parliamentary vote that might have unseated his government from within. The Labour party, a key member of the ruling coalition and led by the defence minister, Ehud Barak, had threatened to vote in favour of a bill today that would have called for the dissolution of the Israeli parliament, or Knesset."

Defense Minister/Labor Party Leader, Barak, seemed determined to push through an effort to unseat Prime Minister Olmert. At least, that is what Labor Party members believed was true. However, Barak pulled the rug out from under his supporters at the last possible moment.

"However, late-night talks between Olmert and Barak's aides produced a compromise in which Olmert has reportedly promised that his Kadima party will hold an internal leadership primary by September 25. Labour hopes that this internal vote would produce a new leader for Kadima and therefore a new prime minister for the ruling coalition. It might delay the prospect of early elections until early next year."

Since President Bush has repeatedly stated his desire to produce a Palestinian State before he leaves office on January 20, 2009, he would desperately want Olmert to stay in office to guide Israel into this agreement. A change now at the office of Prime Minister could very well set the timetable back enough so that a Palestinian State would not come into reality under after the Inauguration.

Evidently, the charges of corruption against Olmert are deemed by Labor Leader Barak as not sufficiently serious to force him out of office.

B. Defense Secretary Barak - who is also the leader of the opposition party, Labor - has withdrawn his adamant opposition to Olmert, sparking a strong reaction from his supporters.

NEWS BRIEF: "'Barak Has Spit in the Face of the Israeli Public' ", Israel National News, June 25, 2008

"Senior members of the Labor and Kadima parties reached a last-minute agreement early Wednesday morning to scuttle a Knesset vote to dissolve the parliament and hold early elections ... Politicians from the right and the left were quick to slam the deal."

"MK Zevulun Orlev (NRP- NU), a co-author of the no-confidence motion that would have brought about general elections, said Barak has 'spit in the face of the Israeli public'."

Cutting Edge has always maintained that there is no real difference between the major parties of key nations like the United States and Israel. We have long stated that the Illuminati controls all key leadership posts within any major government. The fighting you see in public between the leadership of the different parties is simply an outworking of the "Controlled Struggle" which is designed to slowly move the country in the direction of the overall Plan.

Perhaps these unhappy M.K.'s are closer to realizing this truth than they were before Barak turned on them to betray them. The book, above, "Codex Magica", identifies the following Israeli leaders as Masonic:

The fact of the matter is that almost every Prime Minister of modern Israel has been a Mason. Since both Olmert and Barak are controlled by Freemasonry, the Plan will go forward exactly as it has been scripted. Now you know why Barak so abruptly switched positions, from threatening to bring down Olmert's government to participating in his political salvation.

III. Russia has waded into the Afghanistan War, joining the side of the Western supported Afghan Government.

Prophecy continues to be fulfilled, as Russia cooperates with the other 10 Kings of the Illuminati just as Revelation 17 foretells!

NEWS BRIEF: "Russia joins the war in Afghanistan", By M K Bhadrakumar, Asia Times, June 25, 2008

"Moscow is staging an extraordinary comeback on the Afghan chessboard after a gap of two decades following the Soviet Union's nine-year adventure that ended in the withdrawal of its last troops from Afghanistan 1989. In a curious reversal of history, this is possible only with the acquiescence of the United States. Moscow is taking advantage of the deterioration of the war in Afghanistan and the implications for regional security could be far-reaching."

"... the two sides had reached 'agreement in principle over the supply of Russian weaponry to the Afghanistan National Army' in its fight against the Taliban insurgency."

This agreement seems to represent a significant departure from Moscow's past support of non-Western Islamic forces throughout the entire Middle East. After all, Russia not only has armed Iran to the teeth, but President Putin warned that an attack on Tehran would be considered an attack on Moscow.

Here, Russia is actually agreeing to provide weapons and ammunition to the pro-Western Afghan National Army!

"Washington has consistently rebuffed Russian attempts to become a protagonist in the Afghan war ... Clearly, the weekend's announcement in Moscow underscores a change in the US stance. The deterioration of the war is undoubtedly a factor behind the shift..."

I find this situation totally unacceptable! President Bush ordered the invasion within two months of the attacks on 9/11, ostensibly to find Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. For good measure, Bush wanted to overthrow the Taliban government, replacing it with a pro-Western government which would bring democracy to Afghanistan.

Today, after nearly seven years of fighting, the Western forces of the United States and NATO are on the verge of losing this war! The superpowers of the West could not even bring down a tiny, Third World nation like Afghanistan.

History will record that, on Bush's Watch, America launched two wars and lost both!

But, let us get back to the issue as to why Russia is cooperating with the United States and NATO on this issue. As we prepare to address this question, we need to point out that Russia cooperated with America from the beginning of the Afghanistan War in late 2001.

Quoting from an old Archived Headline News article - NEWS1548, "Major Nations Are Cooperating With President Bush On His War On Terrorism - Including Old Enemy Russia! Revelation 17:17 Being Stunningly Fulfilled!"

"NEWS BRIEF: "A Significant Step For Russia", BBC News, Tuesday, 25 September, 2001, by Caroline Watt, Europe Division

"Russian President Vladimir Putin's announcement that Russia will support US military operations in Afghanistan heralds a very significant step for Russia. In a televised speech, Mr Putin said Russia would funnel fresh arms to the Afghan opposition, open its airspace for aid shipments, and widen the cooperation with the international alliance against terrorism. Only a few weeks ago this level of co-operation with the US would have been unthinkable. Now the Russian president says that Moscow will not stand in the way of America using former Soviet airbases in the central Asian republics that border Afghanistan." [Emphasis added]

Indeed, it is almost unthinkable that old enemy Russia would be cooperating with President Bush's global attack on Terrorism to the degree that he is going to take the steps listed above. After all, ever since Lenin led the Communist Revolution of 1917, Communist Russia has been an implacable foe to the United States. Russia not only led a coalition of nations against the United States and Europe, but they created a most formidable military that continually threatened us.

How can we reconcile it with the current unprecedented cooperation Russian Prime Minister Putin is giving President Bush in his global war on terrorism? How is it possible that the Russian Premier has given America use of bases that are under the hegemony of the Russian military? How can Russia now agree to provide weaponry to the Afghan pro-western forces?

Once you understand, you will be excited because you will realize you are looking at the fulfillment of powerful Bible prophecy.

CURRENT RUSSIAN COOPERATION FULFILLS REVELATION 17 PROPHECY

Let us examine that prophecy now. [Quoting from the Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

"Also the ten horns that you observed are ten rulers (kings) who have as yet received no royal dominion, but together they are to receive power and authority as rulers for a single hour, along with the beast. These have one common policy (opinion, purpose) and they deliver their power and authority to the beast." [Revelation 17:12-13]

As we show in NEWS1548, Russia is the leader of Nation #5 in the Illuminati plan to reorganize the world into 10 superstates, while America is the leader of Nation #1 (NAFTA). Therefore, we should expect that, in this period between the official establishment of the 10 super nations of the world, and the appearance of Antichrist, the leaders of the 10 nations of the world should be cooperating in a manner unprecedented. We should expect that the leader of Super Nation #5 [Russia and Eastern Europe] should be cooperating closely with the leader of Super Nation #1 [NAFTA].

Their final goal is to produce Antichrist! Thus, we know for certain that the end purpose of this cooperation between Prime Minister Putin of Russia and President Bush of America is to produce Antichrist! Of course, we have been shouting this fact for many years, and thank God, more and more people every day are beginning to wake up and take notice.

IV. President Bush may be about to suffer a horrible setback in his "War On Terror".

NEWS BRIEF: "Pakistan calls the shots", Asia Times, June 25, 2008

"KARACHI - Since signing on for the 'war on terror' in 2001, Pakistan has received approximately US$10 billion in aid from the United States. It has also been pledged $600 million in economic and security assistance ... The US has been particularly concerned since the new coalition government took power after February's elections, as it was supposed to be US-friendly. But it has refused point-blank to adhere to earlier commitments it made for joint operations with the US in Pakistan's tribal areas against Taliban and al-Qaeda militants."

All through the Fall of last year and the Spring of this year, Pakistan's political process seemed to move steadily against American interests. President Musharraf has been shunted to the political sidelines and has even been threatened with jail and hanging!

The Pakistani opposition and many of its citizens have come to the conclusion that Musharraf has been acting like a lap dog to President Bush after the 9/11 attacks. Consequently, Musharraf has experienced a tremendous loss of political power as Pakistan stumbled toward 2008.

Former Prime Minister Bhutto came back to Pakistan to lend her support to Musharraf in a coalition government. The Americans were seen to be behind this move because it would bring two staunch American allies to power, thus ensuring that Pakistan would remain a key ally in Bush's "War On Terror".

But, then, Bhutto was assassinated, and political power shifted dramatically away from Musharraf. Now, President Bush is being forced to consider that he might just lose the one Islamic ally which bordered Afghanistan.

This next segment reveals the extent of the anti-American sentiment within the current Pakistani government.

"... Pakistan will fight the 'war on terror' on its own terms and that it will not pull out of any peace deals it has with militants. And the Americans will not be allowed to operate in Pakistani territory."

In this latter point, American aircraft bombed targets within Pakistani territory, just across the border with Afghanistan. If President Bush is trying to send a "tough guy" message to Pakistan, he is likely to simply stir up such resentment among Pakistani citizens that the hostile reaction will make it even easier for Pakistan to move away from Washington.

"Washington's plan, which had been in the making for two years, is now in ruins, that is, the ideal of a compliant elected government, an accommodating military and a friendly president (Pervez Musharraf) acting in unison to further the US's interests ... Washington is acutely aware of the damage Pakistan could do if it decided on just a minimum of support for the Taliban, such as secretly equipping them with short-range missiles or providing training courses.

"The top brass at General Headquarters Rawalpindi realize they now hold a strong hand and that every minute of Pakistan's non-cooperation in the 'war on terror' is a threat to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization mission in Afghanistan."

Pakistan possesses a sophisticated military, including nuclear weapons. They could cause a lot of damage to NATO military forces fighting in Afghanistan should they make a firm decision to equip the Taliban with sophisticated weaponry. If neither America or NATO forces could defeat the Taliban these past seven years when the Taliban was primitively equipped, they certainly cannot defeat them once they possessed sophisticated weaponry.

The war in Afghanistan is about to get really dangerous for President Bush and his allies. The ultimate scorecard may read:

You can imagine what Bush's legacy is going to look like!

V. The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives drives another nail in the coffin of American's freedoms!

NEWS BRIEF: "House passes new surveillance law", Associated Press, June 21, 2008

"WASHINGTON (AP) — The House on Friday easily approved a compromise bill setting new electronic surveillance rules that effectively shield telecommunications companies from lawsuits arising from the government's terrorism-era warrantless eavesdropping on phone and computer lines in this country."

In other words, President Bush got what he was looking for, as he continues to build the Executive Branch into the dictatorship it one day will become. The President was pleased:

"President Bush praised the bill Friday. 'It will help our intelligence professionals learn enemies' plans for new attacks', he said in a statement before television cameras a few hours before the vote."

I find it incredibly frustrating as I contemplate the huge strides toward dictatorship the Illuminati has achieved in America because of the 9/11 attacks. On paper, our freedoms and guaranteed liberties are completely gone! In the guise of protecting our country from terrorist attacks, our current leaders in both the White House and in Congress -- both in the Republican and the Democrat parties -- have gutted our freedoms! "The government eavesdropped on American phone and computer lines for almost six years after the Sept. 11 attacks without permission from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, the special panel established for that purpose under the 1978 law. Some 40 lawsuits have been filed against the telecommunications companies by groups and individuals who think the Bush administration illegally monitored their phone calls or e-mails. The White House had threatened to veto any surveillance bill that did not also shield the companies."

While Congressional supporters stated that this law protects the citizen against whom it is aimed, critics dismiss this idea with disdain.

"These provisions turn the judiciary into the administration's rubber stamp," said Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif."

All these fearsome dictatorial powers are now going to pass to the 44th President. If the planned World War III and its attendant terrorist attacks occur after the next President takes office. I find it somewhat ironic that, even though President Bush pushed exceedingly hard for these dictatorial powers, he will likely not be the one to implement them.
