In case you have not noticed the Democrat Presidential campaign lately, both camps have fallen into severe infighting that threatens to tear the party apart before the nominating convention even starts. Both camps are responsible for this internecine conflict. Let us examine the sources of this potentially deadly warfare between the Clinton and the Obama camps, warfare which could tear the party apart just as their new candidate begins campaigning for President.
Obama Aide Calls Hillary A "Monster"
NEWS BRIEF: "Obama aide Samantha Power quits over Hillary 'monster' gibe", Times Online, March 8, 2008
"Barack Obama’s foreign policy adviser resigned yesterday after describing Hillary Clinton as a 'monster' who would do anything to win. The departure of Samantha Power for insulting remarks made to The Scotsman newspaper during a visit to London reflects how the Democratic presidential race has been transformed in the past five days ... Ms Power made the offending remark during a trip to London this week in which she was apparently too candid about the problems facing the Obama campaign.
" 'We f***** up in Ohio', she told the newspaper. 'In Ohio, they are obsessed and Hillary is going to town on it, because she knows Ohio's the only place they can win. She is a monster, too – that is off the record – she is stooping to anything', Ms Power added. The newspaper described her as 'hastily trying to withdraw her remark'."
The Obama campaign quickly decided that this remark crossed the line of decency and forced her to resign. However, Ms Power's remarks reflect the stark attitude of the Obama camp with the hardline tactics Hillary Clinton used during the Ohio contest. But, they had better start fighting back in kind because these tough tactics are coming his way very quickly in the primaries yet to come. The Clintons are infamous for their street brawling ways.
Geraldine Ferraro Slights Obama
NEWS BRIEF: "Geraldine Ferraro leaves Clinton camp over remarks on Obama: Comments shine spotlight on race and gender", The Boston Globe, March 12, 2008
"Geraldine Ferraro stepped down from Hillary Clinton's national finance committee yesterday, but not before a controversy over remarks she made about Barack Obama exposed the politics of race and gender in the Democratic presidential race ... Earlier yesterday, the 1984 vice presidential nominee apologized to those who thought it racially insensitive for her to suggest that Obama wouldn't be the Democratic front-runner if he were not black. But she then declared: 'It wasn't a racist comment. It was a statement of fact'."
If these comments really reflect the opinion of Ms Ferraro, I am most surprised. Ferraro has been involved in politics for a very long time -- a lifetime -- and she was the Vice Presidential nominee on the Democrat ticket with Walter Mondale in 1984; that ticket was swamped by the irresistible President Reagan, but Ms Ferraro proved herself to be a good campaigner and she certainly set history as the first woman to run on a Presidential ticket by a major political party. She should have known that a remark like this one skates very close to the edge of racism, and that the Obama campaign would immediately shove her comments over that line.

In the area of propaganda, "truth is not what is; truth is what people perceive it to be".
Almost instantly, the Obama camp turned Ms Ferraro's comments into a racist remark, and Geraldine was history.
However, one reporter asked a very important question:

"Geraldine Ferraro, once a beacon of hope for the possibility of a new era in American politics, has now disgraced herself for a second time. Today's 'clarifying' comments regarding last week's racist remarks were, if anything, even more offensive ... What a disappointment yesterday, then, to read of Ms. Ferraro's ugly and bigoted comment that Barack Obama is 'lucky' to be black, and that he would not be where he is today 'if he were a white man' or 'a woman'. Make that ugly, bigoted -- and incorrect. There are no serious political observers of any political orientation who doubt Sen. Obama's political skills, including Republicans or the Clintons themselves."
This paragraph is an excellent synopsis of Ms Ferraro's remarks, so we included them in full here. But, now this author asks a very surprising question.
"Ms. Ferraro's comment may be offensive and wrong, but that doesn't mean it's stupid. On the contrary: It looks pretty shrewd. Her words play very well into white resentment of affirmative action, by harping on the notion that less-qualified black people are getting jobs that should go to hard-working and experienced white people."
"Ferraro's words suggest a coded play for the bigot vote, with the 'woman' reference thrown in to somehow link Obama with the oppression of women ... It fits in nicely with the 'accidental' darkening of Obama's skin in a Clinton campaign photo, or Sen. Clinton's recent statement that Sen. Obama isn't a Muslim - 'as far as I know'."
If that weren't bad enough, Geraldine Ferraro went back to the well today: " 'I really think they're attacking me because I'm white', she said. 'How's that'?"
"Dirty tricks" have always been part of a major campaign, so we should not be too surprised if Geraldine Ferraro unleashed a pre-planned 'dirty tricks' salvo against Senator Obama. After all, the Clintons have always been known for their sophisticated and slashing attacks.
Barack And His Pastor
This next news story is especially troubling, for it shows Obama's pastor repeatedly unleashing horrific attacks on America, rhetoric which drove the black parishioners into a frenzy. This video is most troubling, and, therefore, potentially most damaging to the Obama campaign for President. After all, America does not need a man as President who truly hates this own country in his inner heart of hearts.

NEWS BRIEF: "Obama's Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11: Obama's Pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Has a History of What Even Obama's Campaign Aides Say Is 'Inflammatory Rhetoric' ", ABC News, March 13, 2008
"Sen. Barack Obama's pastor says blacks should not sing 'God Bless America' but 'God damn America'."
This one sentence carries with it the potential to burn itself deeply into the consciousness of the average American citizen! Long after Senator Obama has finished trying to smooth things over with calming rhetoric, these angry words from the mouth of Pastor Jeremiah Wright is the stuff greatly loved by the skillful propagandist. If the Hillary Clinton wished to take these televised statements as the core of a hard-hitting campaign ad, they could really convince a lot of American voters that Pastor Jeremiah Wright, his Trinity United Church of Christ, and by extension, Barack Obama, are nothing more than racists who truly hate this American country.
Can you imagine if the propagandist just showed two clips over and over again in one TV commercial?
1) Pastor Wright saying "God d**m America" over and over;
2) Pictures of the congregation being driven to frenzy by these words.
If these two scenes are repeated over and over for 26 seconds, that commercial could do a lot of damage to the Obama campaign. Political talking heads are already saying that Obama's fervent black support is driving white working class Americans to Hillary in even greater numbers. A political campaign TV ad showing these scenes would accelerate this purported trend.
Where is the love of Jesus in this man?
I have made these notes from this above video:
* Preacher Jeremiah Wright was the pastor who performed Barack Obama's wedding ceremony;
* Obama praised him in his book, "Audacity of Hope", crediting him for the title;
These two factors make you believe that Obama supports his pastor fully. Senator Obama's assertion that he does not consider his church's views controversial is particularly damning, because it implies that the reason he does not consider these comments controversial is because he agrees with them in his inner heart. That one sentence could do a lot of damage to his candidacy in the immediate future.
Pastor Wright continues"
* America's Treatment of Blacks:
"The government gives drugs to kids, and builds bigger prisons, and passes 3-strike laws, and then wants us to sing 'God bless America'. No, no, no, not 'God bless America', but 'God damn America' ".
"God damn America for treating us citizens as less than human."
Pastor Jeremiah Wright said that America is under the influence of the 'KKK'. "
During his tirade against America following the attacks of 9/11, Pastor Wright stated that America is supporting Israel's state terrorism against the Palestinian people. He made no mention of the 30 years of Islamic terrorist attacks against innocent Jewish men, women, children, and infants. He made no mention of the cold-blooded murder of a Jewish infant in its crib during a home invasion in a Jewish neighborhood. He made no mention of a little girl's severed head rolling out of a Sbarro's Pizza Restaurant in Jerusalem just seconds after a powerful suicide bomb ripped the place apart. He made no mention of a man's heart still beating lying on a sidewalk immediately after a suicide bomb demolished a passenger bus in downtown Jerusalem.
If America had a problem with a people living in our midst the way the Jewish people have had with the Palestinians over the past 30 years, we would have been far more brutal in suppressing that people than the Jews have been with the Palestinians. If Senator Obama ascends to the White House, Israel has much to fear, in my opinion.
And, do not take Obama's attempts to distance himself from Pastor Wright too seriously, for the very fact that he stayed in that church tells you he agrees with what Wright is saying from his pulpit. If I heard my pastor say "God d**m America" just once from the pulpit, I would immediately stand up and lead my family out of that assembly, never to return! A great many Fundamentalist Christians have left a church because they could not agree with what their pastor was saying to the congregation.
One black lady interviewed on this ABC News clip said she did not find Pastor Wright's views to be 'radical'; she just thought they reflected "being black in America". If Senator Obama feels this way, we are all in trouble.
Now, let us return to the ABC News article, above, for additional insights.
Some black members of Trinity United Church of Christ believe that Pastor Wright has had a lot of influence on Barack Obama.
" 'He has impacted the life of Barack Obama so much so that he wants to portray that feeling he got from Rev. Wright onto the country because we all need something positive', said another member of the congregation."
Who says these vindictive remarks against America are "positive"?
Then, members of Obama's campaign state their belief that Pastor Wright is one of the most influential pastors in America today.
"Rev. Wright, who declined to be interviewed by ABC News, is considered one of the country's 10 most influential black pastors, according to members of the Obama campaign."
Finally, this next segment reveals that Obama has a lot of affection for Pastor Wright.
"Like a member of his family, there are things he says with which Sen. Obama deeply disagrees. But now that he is retired, that doesn't detract from Sen. Obama's affection for Rev. Wright or his appreciation for the good works he has done'."
This vitriolic rhetoric has the potential to wreak a lot of damage on the Presidential campaign of Senator Barack Obama. And, it comes at a most sensitive time as Obama tries to build an insurmountable delegate lead over Hillary, and when more primaries are coming up.
This kind of hateful rhetoric makes me think of a End Times prophecy:
"BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble hard to deal with and hard to bear ... wicked men and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and leading astray others and being deceived and led astray themselves." (2 Timothy 3:1, 13; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
With this kind of hate spewing forth from America's pulpits, this verse seems very appropriate, and extremely indicative of the End of the Age in which we are living, don't you think?
Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.
