NEWS BRIEF: "Iranian State media says, ‘Shiite messiah will kill archenemy in Jerusalem, could come during Spring Equinox' - A triumphal religious prophecy has appeared on an Iranian official state media website, heralding the return of the Shiite messiah", by Yaakov Lappin, YNET News, 12/31/2006

"A triumphal religious prophecy has appeared on an Iranian official state media website, heralding the return of the Shiite messiah. According to the website, 'Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) will appear all of a sudden on the world scene with a voice from the skies announcing his reappearance at the holy Ka'ba in Mecca."

Remember, the current hard-line President of Iran, Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, fervently believes that his job as President is to facilitate the appearance of this Imam Mahdi, this Messiah. Mr. Ahmadinejad -- who is the 6th President of Iran -- also believes that his foreign policy is protected by this coming Messiah, another reason he is so militantly strong against President Bush.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran broadcasting (IRIB) website said in a program called 'The World Towards Illumination,' that the Mahdi will reappear in Mecca and form an army to defeat Islam's enemies in a series of apocalyptic battles, in which the Mahdi will overcome his archvillain in Jerusalem ... The Mahdi's far sightedness and firmness in the face of mischievous elements will strike awe. After his uprising from Mecca all of Arabia will be submit to him and then other parts of the world as he marches upon Iraq and established his seat of global government in the city of Kufa. "

Isn't this interesting? Soon after he makes his appearance, this Imam Mahdi will march upon Iraq, conquering it, and then shall make his global government seat in the city of Kufa! The Bible clearly states that Antichrist will make his seat initially in Jerusalem, which is one huge reason the armies of the world continually sweep against God's holy city, Jerusalem (Zechariah 12).

Now, Iran's expectations for the Imam Mahdi get really interesting.

"Then the Imam will send 10 thousand of his forces to the east and west to uproot the oppressors. At this time God will facilitate things for him and lands will come under his control one after the other ... finally, Imam Mahdi sends troops who kill the Sofyani in Beit ol-Moqaddas (Jerusalem), the Islamic holy city in Palestine that is currently under occupation of the Zionists', the IRIB added. the Mahdi will reappear on earth with Jesus: 'We read in the book Tazkarat ol-Olia, 'the Mahdi will come with Jesus son of Mary accompanying him.' …Imam Mahdi will be the leader while Prophet Jesus will act as his lieutenant in the struggle against oppression and establishment of justice in the world. Jesus had himself given the tidings of the coming of God's last messenger and will see Mohammad's ideals materialize in the time of the Mahdi."

What does the Bible say about Antichrist?

"And the [a]king shall do according to his will; he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished..." (Daniel 11:36, Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

Saying that Jesus Christ is going to serve the Imam Mahdi, that is the astonishing spirit of Antichrist!

This article then continues, telling us the time frame in which he might appear.

" 'The World Towards Illumination' series cites some Islamic sources as saying that the Mahdi's return "may coincide with the Spring Equinox... A saying attributed to the Prophet's 6th infallible heir, Imam Ja'far Sadeq (PBUH) says the Mahdi will appear on the Spring Equinox and God will make him defeat Dajjal the Impostor or the anti-Christ as the Christians say, who will be hanged near the dump of Kufa." (Ibid.)

Whether he actually appears on this date is almost irrelevant, for the real importance of this story is that yet another major religious group is militantly awaiting the appearance of their Messiah. Islamic leaders are being prompted in their spirit and by world events, that their Messiah is close to appearing. Likewise, Jews and Christians are looking at world events, comparing them to prophecy, and concluding that Messiah is close.

The appearance of Antichrist will likely be the catalyst for the Russian-led invasion of Israel as foretold in Ezekiel 38-39. Since Antichrist will claim to be the Jewish Messiah, he will have to make his headquarters in Jerusalem -- at least for the first 7 years. Interestingly, this is the Illuminati Plan, as related in the New Age book, "The Armageddon Script", by Peter Lemesurier. I believe the Russians will attempt to march on Jerusalem to finally seize global control, a fervent Russian goal ever since the Communist Revolution of 1917. By marching upon Jerusalem to overthrow Antichrist, the Russians and their allies, will fulfill Ezekiel 38-39.

Let us review this prophecy now.

Russian-Led Invasion of Israel --- Ezekiel 38-39

In the book of Ezekiel, God issued one of His most startling prophecies in all of Scripture. He foretold, in chapters 38 and 39, that, in the latter days, after Israel had been returned to her land, the nation of Russia would lead an alliance of nations in an attack on Israel. Now, remember, God wrote through His prophet, Ezekiel, in approximately 592 B.C. ('The New Analytical Bible", Authorized King James Version, John A. Dickson Publishing Co., Chicago, 1964, p. 931), which means that these prophecies were written almost 2,600 years ago! At the time Ezekiel penned this prophecy, no "reasonable" person could ever believe this prophecy could possibly ever occur. After all, the Middle East at that time was the center of the world in culture and power. On the other hand, the nation of Russia did not even officially exist; the only people living in this region were almost primitive tribesmen. Never in history have circumstances existed that would have made a Russian-led invasion remotely possible. Even as recently as the 18th and 19th Centuries, circumstances seemed so unlikely that Russia could ever be able to lead an invasion into Israel, that people who wished to "prove" that the Bible was without error, nor could it be taken literally, held this prophecy up to extreme ridicule.

From the time of Martin Luther, in the mid-1500's, the only people in the world who were predicting that Israel would return to her land again as a nation, and who were predicting that Russia would be powerful enough to invade Israel, were those 'foolish' Bible believing, Fundamentalist Protestants! "In 1857 Rev. F.E. Potts delivered two sermons on prophecy before a joint session of the houses of the U.S. Congress. His was one of the most respected prophetic voices of his day. Sixty years before the Communist conquest of Russia, he had the boldness to warn the United States government of the coming day when Russia would be a dominant world power. Obviously he had insight, unpopular in his day, derived from Ezekiel 38 and 39." ("The Coming Peace in the Middle East", by LaHaye,
Zondervan Publishing House, Grand Rapids, MI, p. 123)

But, Reverend Potts was not the only Christian author who accurately described the coming power of Russia, based upon Ezekiel 38 and 39. "It is fascinating to compare the note to this passage found in the Old Scofield Bible, annotated in 1909 during the Czarist age of Russia. The brilliant commentator, C.I. Scofield, could not have foreseen either the rise of Russia to world importance or the regathering of the Jews to Israel in 1948, but he says, 'That the primary reference is to the northern (European) powers, headed up by Russia, all agree ...' " ("The Coming Russian Invasion Of Israel", updated, by Thomas S. McCall & Zola Levitt, Moody Press, chicago, 1974, 1987, p. 28)

Neither of these Christian authors could have known, either, that occultic plans to establish the New World Order paralleled this prophecy. This part of the Plan was enunciated by Albert Pike, who was the leader of North American Freemasonry during the years 1870-1895, approximately. We detail his plan in NEWS1015, "Albert Pike's Vision On How To Achieve The New World Order". Pike's vision, given him by his demonic guiding spirit, stated that three (3) world wars would be needed to establish the New World Order.

Wow!! This demonic vision parallels Biblical prophecy in several important respects:

1) Israel did not exist as a state then. Not only were her peoples dispersed throughout the world, but the ancient land of Palestine was thoroughly under the control of the Turkish Ottoman Empire, and no serious student of history could see how or when this control would change.

2) Russia is the target of this demonic vision. Under this vision, the leaders of worldwide Freemasonry were committed to establishing a Communist government in Russia, and to building this government up to be powerful enough to challenge the Western Powers for control of the world! This is why President Roosevelt, a Freemason, and England's Churchill, a Rosicrucian, were so committed to building up Russia during World War II! And, this is why President Truman, also a Freemason, was so committed to reestablishing Israel as a nation after World War II. Both leaders were just being true to the Freemasonry vision of Albert Pike.

But when these powerful leaders moved the resources of the United States behind the accomplishment of these goals, above, they unwittingly created the possibility of Russia possessing enough military and political power that she might lead an invasion against Israel in the 'Latter Days', after Israel was back in her land. Do you see how Pike's demonic vision, above, touches upon the two chief protagonists in the scenario described in Ezekiel 38-39? Pike's vision builds Russia up to historically unprecedented heights, both militarily and politically, and it presupposes a return of Israel back to her land, an event which no one but the Bible believing Christian was foreseeing in 1870!

Now, let us take a brief look at the combatants in this great war, when, as prophesied, Russia leads an invasion of Israel in the 'Latter Days'. We will not attempt to deal with all aspects of this wonderful prophecy of these two chapters, because we could write a book on the subject; rather, our emphasis will be upon the combatants foretold in this prophecy.

Our objective is to show that the stage is finally set for the fulfillment of Ezekiel's prophecy, in the daily news. Check it out!!

Identifying Russia As The Leader of This Invasion Force

While it is true that the Bible generically identifies the evil forces opposed to God as 'Magog', and its leaders as 'Gog', there are etymological reasons for understanding that 'Gog' and 'Magog' may refer to what is called modern Russia.

1) We see the name, Magog, first in Genesis 10:2, as one of the sons of Japheth, one of the grandsons of Noah. In that era, it was customary for tribal, and later, national names to evolve from the name of the original founder. "Apparently, the tribal name, Magog, moved northward from the Middle East. Josephus ... notes that Magog is called the Scythians by the Greeks ... who lived in the northern regions above the Caucasus Mountains, as forerunners of modern Russia." (Op. cit., McCall, p. 29. Same conclusion by Op. cit., LaHaye, p. 121.)

2) The term, 'Gog', above is translated from the Hebrew phrase, 'nesi rosh'5. While 'rosh' can be an adjective meaning 'head' or leader, it can also mean a proper place name, 'Rosh'. "The Hebrew lexicon of Brown, Driver, and Briggs indicates that Rosh here is the proper name of a people ... today's Russia." (The Coming Russian Invasion Of Israel", updated, by Thomas S.
McCall & Zola Levitt, Moody Press, chicago, 1974, 1987, p. 29)

3) " 'Tubal' and 'Meshech' were the fifth and sixth sons of Japheth, and their descendants settled south of the Black Sea ... The name, 'Moscow' derives from the tribal name, 'Meshech', and 'Tobolsk', the name of the principal state, from 'Tubal'. (Op. cit., LaHaye, p. 121-122, but McCall reaches same conclusion, p. 29-30.

Therefore, it is proven conclusively that God was referring to modern Russia in this passage in Ezekiel 38-39. But, God lists one more identifying factor. In verse 38:6 and 15, and also in 39:2, God says that this attacking force shall come from the 'north'. But, the original Hebrew "gives the qualifier meaning 'extreme' or 'uttermost' to the term, 'north', all three times." (Op. cit., McCall, p. 29)

When God gives direction in the Bible, it is always in reference to His Chosen Nation, Israel. In God's eyes, Israel is located precisely in the middle of the Earth. Therefore, what nation(s) lie to the 'uttermost north' from Israel generally, and Jerusalem specifically? Modern Russia lies directly north of Israel and Moscow lies directly north of Jerusalem. (Ibid., p. 30)

In verse 38:4, we see that God is going to allow Russia to arm herself with a very great army, probably for a purpose other than invading Israel; but, then, God Himself is going to "turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army ..." The term, 'hooks into thy jaws' is the same idea as placing a bridle in the mouth of a horse, to control his behavior and direction. In other words, God is going to place His bridle into the mouth of the Russian Bear and turn him toward Israel.

And, make no mistake about the fact that this invasion is God's judgment. In 38:3, God made it quite plain that "I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal". Given God's long-suffering nature, His Mercy and His Grace, it is shocking to hear Him say these words of judgment.

Then, to ensure that we understand that God is getting ready to judge Russia, we read, in 38:10a, "Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:" God shall cause the evil thought to come into the mind of the Russian rulers to plan, and execute, the plan to invade and destroy Israel.

Even though Russia will field an army that would logically be expected to easily defeat tiny Israel, God foretells that it will have allies that will march with them; allies that will be trained, organized and equipped by Russia (38:4).

God lists the nations which will be marching with Russia.

These nations will be coming from both the north and the south of Israel, which parallels the prophecy of the same event in Daniel 11:40. Ezekiel lists the following nations which will be marching with Russia.

1) Persia (Iran)--from the North

2) Cush (Ethiopia)--from the South -- while the direct modern equivalent of ancient Cush is Ethiopia, other black nations from this region might also be included.

3) Put (Libya)--from the South

4) Gomer (Eastern Europe)--from the North -- probably from the former Eastern European block subservient to the old U.S.S.R.

5) House of Togarmah (probably the southern Russian republics [mostly Arab] and possibly Turkey)--from the north.

NOTE: One of the major points of this article is to report to you that all these nations are today arrayed with Russia militarily and diplomatically. The last nation to fall into place was Turkey, whose government just recently changed from pro-Western to radical Islamic, and seems to be carefully moving into orbit with Iran's Ahmadinejad!! Since the planned collapse of the old U.S.S.R., Russia has moved diplomatically and militarily to re-establish all the old ties to these Islamic governments.

The stage for the creation of this alliance is now set. Once the disappointment of the total defeat and annihilation of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and the Palestinian state has sunk in the minds of the Russian leaders and the leaders of the above Arab states, the alliance will come together quickly to invade Israel. And, of course, the greatest piece of this puzzle to fall into place is that the New World Order Plan to reorganize the nations of the world into 10 Super Nations [fulfilling Daniel 2 and 7:20-24] occurred from 1992-1996, and it lists Nation #5 as Eastern Europe and Russia!!

Exactly fitting this Biblical scenario!!

Obviously, the northern armies will be the most powerful by far. The southern armies will be important only for their symbolism. Indeed, all Arabs would surely insist upon marching with Russia to obliterate their old enemy and nemesis, Israel. Think of the seemingly wonderful situation from the Arab's point of view. Since the birth of Israel, May 14, 1948, Arab armies have been attacking Israel repeatedly trying to annihilate her. And, for most of this time, Russia has been arming the Arabs and advising them.

Still, Israel has beaten the Arabs, handily!! Now, Russia has had enough!! She is going to attack and destroy those pesky Jews once and for all. After all, Communist Russia has persecuted Jews mightily in their long history, originating the term 'pogrom'. Satanic hatred is fueling their drive this time. Now, they are going to show the Arabs how a military campaign should be conducted, and they invite all the Arabs along with the ride [above list]!

Since this is the case, why aren't Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt marching WITH these Russian-led forces? Each of these countries have initiated conflict with Israel since 1948, so we know they would like to see Israel destroyed. In fact, I would imagine that there would be some soldiers from the Palestinian Arab army marching with the soon-to-be victorious Russian and Eastern European forces. Combined army, air force, and naval forces, modern enough to battle American and Western European armies, are now bearing down on Israel from the North and the South. Where are Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Egypt? Why didn't God list them as marching with Russia?

Egypt is most conspicuous by her absence, since the armies from Libya and Ethiopia must march through northern Egypt to get to Israel. Look at a map, and you will see that the only way armies from these countries can get to Israel is by marching directly through Egypt.

As I pondered this dilemma, I concluded that the only explanation which makes sense is that Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt aren't marching with the Russian-led forces against Israel because, at the time of this invasion, they are no longer in existence. God's judgment has totally destroyed them.

We now know that President Bush has thoroughly removed Iraq from consideration of being a nation marching with Russia against Israel. Not only is Iraq destroyed as a nation, but she is in the process of being split into three separate parts: Kurds, Shi'ites, and Sunnis. Civil War is erupting all throughout this poor nation, meaning she will have neither the resources nor the military forces necessary to march with the Russian-led forces.

Every Bible author and commentator I have read on this subject of the Russian invasion of Israel has commented on this highly significant omission in the list of the countries marching with Russia; yet, no one I have read has any idea as to why.

No commentator has discovered Obadiah, at least that I have read.

Yet, when I postulate that there might be numerous wars igniting the Middle East, and not just the Russian invasion, I answer the next question that seems to be perplexing the minds of these authors and commentators. How can Israel feel as secure and safe from any attack as the passage below foretells? In Ezekiel 38:11, God describes the condition in Israel just prior to this Russian invasion. In this context, God is describing the train of thought going through the minds of the Russian leaders, as they contemplate, then plan, and finally execute, their plan of invasion,

In Old Testament times, cities and towns regularly built walls, with bars and gates inset inside them, to protect themselves against marauders and military attack. The only way in which a city of that time would not build walls is if they felt absolutely safe from any type of attack. This is precisely the meaning here. At the time of the Russian invasion, Israel is feeling very, very safe. She does not feel that there is any type of danger from any quarter, from any enemy.

Does this describe Israel today? Absolutely not!! When she is not fearing military attack from outside her borders she is fearing terrorist attack from within. The intensity of hatred from the Arabs immediately surrounding her is such that Israel today feels under potential attack from any direction at any second of any day. There is absolutely no way Israel feels very, very safe.

The only way that Israel might ever feel safe is if she were to suddenly 'lose' her implacable, and close, Arab neighbors. I believe this is exactly the scenario God is going to make happen, and it seems to fit with the prophecy against the 'House of Esau', against Damascus, and against Egypt, as foretold in prophecy.

The New World Order Plan is for Antichrist to stage his appearance during this first war -- called World War III in their plan. He will appear with great occult power that will produce tremendous signs and wonders that will shock the peoples of the world literally out of their minds. I find it extremely interesting, though, that New World Order author, Peter Lemesurier states that much of the 'signs and wonders' which Antichrist will perform will be "technological phenomenon" that will be counted on as a "physical crutch" to the occult signs and wonders actually produced by Antichrist. ("The Armageddon Script: Prophecy In Action", by Peter Lemesurier, St. Martin's Press, New York, 1981, p. 236).

Isn't that interesting? It seems as though Hollywood and the TV networks are going to use their technological expertise to convince the peoples of the world to follow, and later worship, Antichrist!! Think of that the next time you are watching your favorite news program!

But that is not all! The news media is going to be counted upon to wrap the entire appearance -- with the occult signs and wonders, plus the technologically created signs and wonders, plus the 'desperate world condition', -- into one package on their networks to convince the people to follow Antichrist. (Ibid.) Finally, all the complaints and warnings from Christian leaders are going to be realized in an instant, when the news networks perform their role in the successful staging of Antichrist.

When Antichrist arises, he will stage his appearance East of Jerusalem. (Ibid., p. 231)

The plan is for him to be dressed in full Kingly attire, with scented purple robes, armor, sword, and sceptre attire truly fit for a King. But, he will be riding on a donkey, recreating the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9, which presents Messiah to the Jews as being lowly, meek, and riding on the back of a young donkey. (Ibid., p. 234)

Of course, Jesus Christ fulfilled this prophecy to the letter, when He rode into Jerusalem on a young donkey, an event we celebrate every year as Palm Sunday. However, the Jewish leadership rejected this event as fulfillment of anything, just as they rejected Jesus Christ as their long awaited Messiah. This is a good example of the Antichrist 'fulfilling' the prophecies which Jesus fulfilled, simply because the Jews are still looking for these prophecies to be fulfilled by the 'true' Messiah.

Antichrist will make his capital in Jerusalem, simply because he will have to convince the Jews that he is their Messiah, for whom they have long been waiting. But, he will have to work smart and hard to convince the Orthodox Jew that he is their Messiah! These Jews will be asking him many, many questions, they will be thoroughly checking his lineage to ensure that he is from the House (Line) of David, and they will be systematically checking off his miracles to ensure that he is fulfilling all the Old Testament prophecies that identify Messiah. And, Antichrist will oblige. He has systematically catalogued all these prophecies and has planned to stage the fulfillment of each and every one. This is the intent of Peter Lemesurier's book, "The Armageddon Script: Prophecy In Action". He has carefully catalogued all these prophecies, and has boldly published to the world the New World Order Plan to deceive the Orthodox Jews into believing the lie(s) of Antichrist. All Jews should read this book!!

God's Divine Protection For The Nation, Israel, In The Old Testament

Throughout Israel's national history, one of the greatest ways in which God has validated His claims of Sovereignty over the world is by protecting Israel against her many enemies, especially when these enemies vastly outnumbered Israel. When an obviously outmanned, outgunned, Israel is able to decisively defeat her enemies in battle, God receives the glory. Let us review some of the promises God has made, and kept, to Israel in protecting her militarily:

1) "The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways." (Deuteronomy 28:7)

2) "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee." (Psalm 91:1-7)

Actually, all of Psalm 91 records God's protection of Israel against her foreign enemies. The only time Israel had to fear foreign enemies was when she was living in direct rebellion against God.

End Time Protection For Israel After She Has Been Restored

3) "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered ..." (Daniel 12:1)

4) "Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah ... But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion." (Joel 3:19-20)

5) "And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel ... And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God. (Amos 9:14-15)

NOTE: Orthodox Jews today, in Israel, are pointing to verses like these as proof that Israel will not be defeated in battle, but will prevail and will expand to control all the land God promised Abraham. They are as familiar with the Old Testament prophecies I have shared with you as are we. Confidence in these prophecies is the foundation for the confidence which Orthodox Jews feel when they promote the "Greater Israel" concept.

6) "For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head. For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it. [Here comes the Greater Israel] And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead. And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south. And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S." (Obadiah 15-21) Greater Israel concept

Then there are promises that God will protect Israel and Jerusalem from Last Days' enemies which shall surround her, threatening her from overwhelming destruction. Israel's Orthodox Jews are aware of these prophecies as well, and looking for them to also be fulfilled by her Messiah.

1) "In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem ... And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (Zechariah 12:8-9)

2) "For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle." (Zechariah 14:2-3)

Now, notice the next verse, verse 4, for the Messiah Himself shall be the one that is protecting Israel against these encompassing armies. When He makes His appearance, he shall do so on the Mount of Olives, which shall be split in two by a huge earthquake.

The Orthodox Jews are expecting that they will be surrounded by hostile armies at the time of the end, and these armies will be overwhelmingly powerful, even irresistible. But, when the situation looks the most bleak, they expect their Messiah to arise, come to their aid, and totally annihilate the enemy forces.

The New World Order Plan calls for "Messiah" to also come to the Mount of Olives at the time of a great cataclysmic earthquake! (Ibid., p. 232)

This earthquake will probably be caused by occult power. But, if this earthquake on the Mount of Olives coincides with the advancement of powerful, encircling armies, and if these armies are defeated by power that is obviously supernatural, all the Jews, even the Orthodox, are going to give the credit to the Antichrist who is claiming to be their Messiah!!

Now, let us return to the subject at hand, i.e., the Russian invasion of Israel. Israel has just defeated, and annihilated, the Palestinians, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt, a victory which has caused her to expand outward to reclaim all the land promised Abraham. During the latter stage of this quick, decisive war, Antichrist has arisen, amid great miraculous signs and wonders. He declares he is the Jewish Messiah, for whom they have been anxiously awaiting, and he systematically sets out to reenact the many prophecies of Messiah in the Hebrew Scriptures [Old Testament].

Having achieved such tremendous victory over her most implacable foes, having re-established control over all her ancient Biblical lands, and having their 'Messiah' arise to take control, Israel is in a mood of victory and jubilation unparalleled in her long history!! Remember the cry of adulation given David, which made King Saul so angry with jealousy?

Such will be the cry of Israel at this time. For the first time since she was re-established as a nation in 1948, Israel will feel totally at peace. She will feel that she has just lost her enemies! Thus the stage will be set, of Ezekiel 38:11, "a land of unwalled villages" dwelling securely.

God himself has now set the stage for the final, climactic event which will cause the Jew to fully accept Antichrist as their Messiah, and for the whole world to be convinced as well. God causes the evil plan to invade Israel to form in the minds of the Russian leaders, and in the leaders of the Arab states mentioned above. Since he assumed power, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has repeatedly threatened Israel with total extinction. One of his favorite threats has been that "Israel is going to wiped off the map". The concept of invading Israel to destroy her is most definitely in the minds of current Arab leaders in the world.

God is about to encircle Israel with armies, so Antichrist can "deliver" them. At this point, remember God's warning that, in the time of Antichrist, He is going to cause a "strong delusion" to fall upon the followers of Antichrist, so they will believe the lie? (2 Thessalonians 2:9-11) This is probably going to be one of the greatest illusions.

So, at this moment, Israel is ecstatic!! She has lost her enemies, she has regained her land, and most of the people believe that her long awaited Messiah has arrived, even though the Orthodox rabbis have not yet officially declared him to be Messiah.

As far as the Antichrist [Messiah] is concerned, he is very pleased with the way things are going. He has successfully reenacted the many prophecies foretelling Messiah, and his miraculous signs and wonders have convinced most of the Jews and the rest of the world, as well. The New World Order Plan is working to perfection. At this point, the unexpected suddenly occurs!

The New World Order Plan does NOT, repeat, does NOT plan on Russia leading an invasion of Israel!!

God's purpose for the End of the Age 10-Nation conspiracy (Revelation 17:17) is working to perfection, i.e., the 10 Super Nations have formed, with Russia and Eastern Europe as Nation #5. These rulers have achieved their largest objective, i.e., staging the appearance of Antichrist, and they have officially declared their full support of him, publicly acknowledging him as their supreme leader and transferring their support to him.

All seems to be going well, and on Plan, to the rulers of the Illuminati.

But, God declared in Daniel 2:41-43, this 10-Nation confederation will be composed of two elements that can never adhere, which God calls partly iron and partly potter's clay. As soon as this 10 Nation confederation produces Antichrist, it will break apart in tremendous infighting. We see the result of this infighting in Daniel 7:20-24, as Antichrist destroys three of the original ten Super Nations. But, as of this moment of triumph for Israel and the Antichrist, they know nothing of this coming event. They have no idea that Russia plans to destroy Antichrist in order to take power for itself. Suddenly, in the midst of the jubilation in Jerusalem, there comes a message that totally upsets everyone, from the man in the street to Antichrist. (At this point, turn with me to Daniel 11:40, a passage describing the appearance and the reign of Antichrist).

But, notice in 11:40, quoted above, that the Antichrist is going to be attacked simultaneously, with an army from the North and from the South. And, the description of the forces from the North sound very much like the description of the vast army described in Ezekiel 38-39. "and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships .."

A Matter of Focus

Our point here is that, from the perspective of the peoples of the world, from Antichrist himself, and from most of the Jews, this coordinated attack is going to be viewed as an attack on the Antichrist!! Only people who know their Bible are going to realize that this attack is a fulfillment of prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39, and only these few are going to realize that the destruction of these overwhelming forces is by the power of God.

Later on - after the Antichrist reveals his true colors by desecrating the Holy of Holies in the new Temple - Orthodox Jews will understand that the miraculous destruction of these Russian led forces must have come from the True God Almighty, and men all over the globe at this point will glorify God mightily. But, now back to the siege of Antichrist, headquartered in Jerusalem. As the army from the North and the army from the South approach Israel, the hearts of the Jewish people must be melting like wax. They are going to be destroyed this time, because now they are facing Russian and Eastern European troops, who are trained and equipped much better than the Arab forces that have faced Israel since 1948. There is absolutely no human expectation that Israel's Defense Force can defeat this combined army.

Orthodox Jews, on the other hand, who know Old Testament Scriptures, will be on their knees asking God for deliverance, based upon the many passages which foretell that God Himself will come to Israel's aid in the Last Days. We have already pointed out Scriptures which describe the encircling attack on Israel by Gentile forces in the Last Days, and God foretells that He will deliver Israel. Well, the Orthodox Jews will be asking God to make good on these promises.

Antichrist will also be full of supernatural fury at Nation #5, Russia and Eastern Europe, for daring to attack him in Jerusalem. He will be on global TV constantly warning dire consequences if this army does not turn back. Of course, Russia possesses nuclear and scalar weapons, so even though Antichrist will control the many nuclear warheads of the United Nations, he dares not use them against Russia, for fear of retaliation.

As these armies approach Israel's borders, God Almighty takes over.

God rains down upon these armies supernatural phenomenon -- earthquakes unprecedented in history, so great that the entire earth is shaken. God will also rain down pestilence [disease], great rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. [Do you know that ballistic missiles cannot be launched during a severe hail storm?]

When the Russian army is overthrown and totally destroyed, God will be responsible. And, the next verse, verse 23, states that "Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD."

Notice two things about this statement:

1) God will give Himself great glory in the supernatural way in which He destroys the armies invading Israel.

2) Yet, the wording in the Scripture, above, is interesting, in that God said that He will be known in the eyes of "many" nations, not "all". I believe that those people who are enamored with Antichrist will believe that it was he who delivered the obvious supernatural power that destroyed the armies.

And, most definitely, the Orthodox Jew will be convinced now that Antichrist is their Messiah. Not only have they witnessed the tremendous "signs and wonders" that he has been performing in their midst since his appearance, but now they have seen him "protect" Israel and Jerusalem in the same manner as God delivered them in Old Testament times. These Orthodox Jews had been waiting for this "sign"; now that Antichrist has "delivered" them from their overwhelming military enemies, they will officially pronounce that he is most definitely the Messiah for whom they have been long awaiting.

Immediately, a public announcement will be made to the Jewish people that this is their Messiah. The Antichrist accepts this pronouncement with great graciousness, and utters great and swelling words on behalf of the Jewish people. In an overwhelming flood of emotion, Antichrist "confirms" the Jewish national covenant. At that moment, the 70th Week of Daniel 9:27 begins. The Tribulation Period begins and Jesus Christ will return in 7 Jewish years of 360 days each. Anyone on earth with this Biblical knowledge can mark his calendar accordingly, and can know precisely when Jesus returns to destroy the forces of Antichrist.

In Israel, pandemonium reigns supreme, as the Jewish people celebrate their "Messiah". Work immediately begins on the new (Masonic) Temple (NEWS1643). Jews from all over the world flood back into their enlarged country. Peace fever breaks out everywhere. From every part of the globe, people are finally saying to each other, "Finally, we have peace and safety".

This is a most logical scenario, fulfilling Scriptural prophecy and the plans of the New World Order. The stage is set. All the players are now in place. I will allow the New World Order author, Peter Lemesurier, to have the last word,

"Their script is now written, subject only to last-minute editing and stage-directions. The stage itself, albeit as yet in darkness, is almost ready. Down in the pit, the subterranean orchestra is already tuning up. The last-minute, walk-on parts are even now being filled. Most of the main actors ... have already taken up their roles. Soon it will be time for them to come on stage, ready for the curtain to rise. The time for action will have come." (Ibid., p. 232)

Events are going to get mightily interesting. Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
