Throughout our short national history, Americans have instinctively opposed the practice of extracting information through torture. Such an attitude seemingly ran through our national blood. As I see this situation, Americans have traditionally considered themselves as above torturing prisoners for two basic reasons. Let us review these reasons and then come back to examine them.
1) America's values and attitudes were set by Christianity. While not everyone in the population throughout our history were Born Again Christians, the values and the attitudes born of those values were largely based on the Bible.
2) America's Founding Fathers were against torture simply because they knew of it first-hand. The great majority of our Founding Fathers were Freemasons or Rosicrucians, or members of some secret societies of the "Hermetic Tradition". Many national leaders at the time of the Revolution were genuine Christians, because of the "Great Awakening" revival from 1741-1798.
As we demonstrated in our video, "Catholicism: Whited Sepulcher Christianity", Popes of the Roman Catholic Church had been torturing "Hermetic Philosophers" and genuinely Born Again Christians for over 1,000 years before the American Revolution. Rome began her Great Inquisition in 600 A.D., as she began to torture and murder those Black Magick Hermetic Philosophers; after the Reformation of Martin Luther, the Inquisition machinery was simply turned against the Protestants.
By the time of the American Revolution, both Founding Fathers and Protestants were keenly aware that torture was the tool of the Devil and had no place whatsoever in the fabric of American society. The very structure of our government -- divided into three segments -- broke up the dictatorial power upon which torture was historically based, and tells the story that individual citizens of our country were to be protected against torturous abuse at the hands of government.
Our Constitutional protections and numerous Constitutional Amendments were enacted which prevented our government from subjecting citizens to torture. Supreme Court decisions were created which further strengthened this prohibition; precedents were set which forbade the use of any testimony extracted under torture.
So pervasive was the attitude against this barbaric practice that most of these prohibitions were extended to foreigners accused of crimes on our soil.
Given this historical background, what has happened in America to change these attitudes and values? How could the solid government of our Founding Fathers become the sordid government of President Bush, which has been torturing prisoners who have never been convicted of a crime since 9/11? As I see it, several factors have caused this great switch in values.
1) America's Public School system no longer teaches accurate history, no longer teaches the Constitution, and no longer teaches the historic values and attitudes which built this country. As early as 1911, the Illuminati began buying textbook writing companies, until they owned them all after World War I. Once they got control of textbooks, they gradually began to "dumb down" the curricula and rewrite history. Today, students of public schools since World War II have received increasingly inferior educations, until now the population is largely academically inferior, is political herds of "sheeple", and is religiously ignorant of Biblical Truth.
In fact, the Illuminati gained control of the American Public School system between World Wars I and II, riding the popularity of Dewey and C.F. Potter.
Potter captured the thinking of the Illuminati toward the Public School system very clearly. Listen carefully:
"C.F. Potter, author of `Humanism, A New Religion' (1930), said `Education is thus a most powerful ally of Humanism, and every American public school is a school of Humanism. What can the theistic Sunday Schools, meeting for an hour once a week, and teaching only a fraction of the children, do to stem the tide of a five-day program of humanistic teaching?'"
2) Since World War I, America's true Christian churches have been sliding into the prophesied Apostasy, a necessary prerequisite to the appearance of Antichrist (2 Thess 2:3). This trend greatly accelerated after the end of World War II. Since then, the vast majority of children have been taught increasingly inferior academics on the one hand, and increasingly lower levels of biblical standards on the other hand.
For fifty years now, American schoolchildren have been graduating with lessening safeguards against mistreatment of other human beings. Today, the average American is so ignorant of these historical and religious values, he is guided by what his flesh seems to tell him is the right thing to do. What does the Bible say about such a person?
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12, repeated in Proverbs 16:25)
Today, polls show that 65% of all Americans now believe that torture is all right to be used, under "certain circumstances". Of course, this attitude opens the door wide to government abuse of prisoners, as long the government keeps the exact number of victims secret.
GEORGE BUSH'S TORTURE GOES WAY BACK
Texas Governor
NEWS BRIEF: "Torture Inc. America's Brutal Prisons", By Deborah Davies, Global Research, 23 May 2005
"They are just some of the victims of wholesale torture taking place inside the U.S. prison system that we uncovered during a four-month investigation for BBC Channel 4 . It’s terrible to watch some of the videos and realise that you’re not only seeing torture in action but, in the most extreme cases, you are witnessing young men dying. The prison guards stand over their captives with electric cattle prods, stun guns, and dogs. Many of the prisoners have been ordered to strip naked. The guards are yelling abuse at them, ordering them to lie on the ground and crawl. ‘Crawl, motherf*****s, crawl.’ If a prisoner doesn’t drop to the ground fast enough, a guard kicks him or stamps on his back. There’s a high-pitched scream from one man as a dog clamps its teeth onto his lower leg.
"Another prisoner has a broken ankle. He can’t crawl fast enough so a guard jabs a stun gun onto his buttocks. The jolt of electricity zaps through his naked flesh and genitals. For hours afterwards his whole body shakes. Lines of men are now slithering across the floor of the cellblock while the guards stand over them shouting, prodding and kicking. Second by second, their humiliation is captured on a video camera by one of the guards.
The images of abuse and brutality he records are horrifyingly familiar. These were exactly the kind of pictures from inside Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad that shocked the world this time last year. And they are similar, too, to the images of brutality against Iraqi prisoners that this week led to the conviction of three British soldiers. But there is a difference. These prisoners are not caught up in a war zone. They are Americans, and the video comes from inside a prison in Texas They are just some of the victims of wholesale torture taking place inside the U.S. prison system that we uncovered during a four-month investigation for Channel 4 that will be broadcast next week."
"Our findings were not based on rumour or suspicion. They were based on solid evidence, chiefly videotapes that we collected from all over the U.S. Each tape provides a shocking insight into the reality of life inside the U.S. prison system – a reality that sits very uncomfortably with President Bush’s commitment to the battle for freedom and democracy against the forces of tyranny and oppression."
"In fact, the Texas episode outlined above dates from 1996, when Bush was state Governor."
Let this fact sink in very, very deeply into your mind and heart. Torture very similar to that which was occurring in Afghanistan and Iraqi jails was occurring in American prisons -- including Texas -- in 1996, a year in which George W. Bush was Governor of the state of Texas! Since this fact is true, we should not have been too surprised to learn that torture of prisoners followed the attacks of 9/11 quickly.
Following 9/11 Attacks
Right after the attacks of 9/11, Cutting Edge began to post articles either hinting of torture or advocating it. All these stories smacked of Step One of the Six Step Attitudinal Change Plan, and considering this latest development, we are positive that the principles of this Six Step Plan were initiated just weeks after 9/11. What is this nearly invisible Plan by which propagandists can silently, gradually change the attitudes and values of an entire population, without the victims being aware that they are being manipulated?
SIX STEP ATTITUDINAL CHANGE PLAN
Step 1. Some practice so offensive that it can scarcely be discussed in public is advocated by a RESPECTED expert in a RESPECTED forum.
Step 2. At first, the public is shocked, then outraged.
Step 3. But, the VERY FACT that such a thing could be publicly debated becomes the SUBJECT
of the debate.
Step 4. In the process, sheer repetition of the shocking subject under discussion gradually dulling its effect.
Step 5. People then are no longer shocked by the subject.
Step 6. No longer outraged, people begin to argue for positions to moderate the extreme; or, they accept the premise, challenging, instead, the means to ACHIEVE it.
The " practice so offensive that it can scarcely be discussed in public" is torture on prisoners -- especially on those who have not been convicted of any crime.
This first story, below, is no longer posted on the Internet. But, the title tells much.
NEWS BRIEF: "FBI Considers Torture To Force Arab Terrorist Suspects To Talk", Times Online, UK, November 21, 2001, Carried On Daily News Updates, November 25, 2001
As we stated, above, the link for this article no longer works. However, we can see the FBI beginning the conditioning for torture on 11/21/2001, the first step in this Six Step Plan. My training in U.S. Army Intelligence stands me in good stead here, for I learned that, when a government says it will "consider" torture on prisoners, they already are doing it. Considering our first article, above, we know that Governor Bush's Texas prison system had been torturing prisoners since at least 1996, so the FBI could turn to a ready supply of guards who were well trained in the Inquisition Art of torture.
Now, notice how "Respected Experts" starting clamoring for the right of government to torture.
NEWS BRIEF: "Torture: Rack by popular demand!", by Joel Miller, World Net Daily, December 4, 2005
"... torture has been on the outs in the better-smelling parts of the Western world for hundreds of years. But thanks to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and the government's giant-rousing reaction, the rack is back! Not formally, of course ... In his Nov. 5 Newsweek column, "Time to Think About Torture," Jonathan Alter says even liberals are letting their minds go medieval with machinations of head vices and arm cranks ... well, almost: 'OK, not cattle prods or rubber hoses, at least not here in the United States, but something to jump-start the stalled investigation of the greatest crime in American history. Right now, four key hijacking suspects aren't talking at all."
"It's the same story on the right: 'Torture is bad', admitted Tucker Carlson on CNN's 'Crossfire', but cautioned that, 'some things are worse. And under certain circumstances, it may be the lesser of two evils. Because some evils are pretty evil."
So far, we have had two "Respected Experts" opine that torture should be permitted since the 9/11 attacks "changed everything", to use a Bush expression. Note that these two leaders are on opposite sides of the political fence.
* Jonathan Alter is a "Liberal";
* Tucker Carlson on CNN's Crossfire is portrayed as a "Conservative"
When you see this kind of dichotomy on a controversial issue, you must look closer to see further evidence that the Six Step Attitudinal Change Plan is being followed. Indeed, it is, as we see more "Respected Experts" piling on.
"Setting up the question by saying that the FBI is having a tough time getting witnesses to spill their cherished beans, Harvard Law Prof Alan Dershowitz kicked off a Nov. 8 Los Angeles Times commentary with this brow-furrowing puzzle: "When, if ever, is it justified to resort to unconventional techniques such as truth serum, moderate physical pressure and outright torture?" (Ibid.)
Now we see a lawyer promoting torture, even if he is a Liberal lawyer. Since lawyers are supposed to be worried about the rights of the accused, many undiscerning Americans may conclude that, if a lawyer thinks we should be torturing people, perhaps we should! Alan Dershowitz then offered his reasoning as to why torture was not necessarily prohibited.
"The constitutional answer to this question may surprise people who are not familiar with the current U.S. Supreme Court interpretation of the 5th Amendment privilege against self-incrimination," explains the Dersh: "Any interrogation technique, including the use of truth serum or even torture, is not prohibited ... All that is prohibited is the introduction into evidence of the fruits of such techniques in a criminal trial against the person on whom the techniques were used. But the evidence could be used against that suspect in a non-criminal case – such as a deportation hearing – or against someone else." (Ibid.)
Joel Miller sounds incredulous, so let us review his response.
"So it's kosher to squeeze the seeds out of a guy – just so long as you use the info to try him in civil court or jail his mother. What a relief to find out that does not violate the Fifth Amendment's self-finking protection. Of course, as a law professor, Dershowitz has probably also heard about the Eighth Amendment, in which cruel and unusual punishment are pretty well pooh-poohed." (Ibid.)
Alan Dershowitz just emasculated the Constitution by his "interpretation", but he is not alone. We now know that, during this same time period, President Bush's White House lawyer, Alberto Gonzalez (now Attorney General) was offering the President the same kind of "tortured" logic concerning how he could get around the Constitution and the Geneva Convention by simply declaring these prisoners "Enemy Combatants".
It was during November - December, 2001, when the wheels of government began to turn toward torture as a means to "get people to talk". We know this cannot be THE reason for, as we have pointed out so often before, seasoned interrogators know fully well that torture produces no "righteous information", i.e., information which is true. The victim will simply tell the interrogator what he thinks the interrogator wants to hear.
Knowing this to be the case, why has the Bush Administration insisted on torturing people? This Administration may well be the most committed in American history to torturing people who have never been found guilty in a court of law. Why would they be so insistent on torturing such victims? The answer is simple and is expressed in one word: Intimidation.
The main target of intimidation is the American citizen. When he hears that his own government is torturing people without due process, the average citizen is going to be very intimidated. He is going to be sure that he walks a very quiet, careful line. Likewise, the Administration hopes that Muslims the world over will be intimidated to the point of silence and inaction as they learn of the many Islamic prisoners who have been terribly afflicted by American guards.
Before we leave Joel Miller's excellent article, listen to his concluding remarks.
"Despite these concerns, the calls for torture continue – especially in cases of extreme urgency ... The wager: Is it worth breaking with hundreds-year-old legal tradition to give authorities permission to pummel for truth in situations that rarely arise? Making rules to fit the exception is hardly wise. Especially since it may establish a pattern. Even Dershowitz is slick enough to note, "We know from experience that law enforcement personnel who are given limited authority to torture will expand its use." (Ibid.)
The Bush Administration has expanded that "use" of torture. Cutting Edge has written extensively on this subject since November, 2001. Time and space forbids us to repeat everything we have said, but if you click to our Google Search Engine, which searches just the Cutting Edge website, and type in the word, "torture", you will be shocked to see how much we have written over the years.
You will also discover that the Bush Administration has been demanding the right to imprison American citizens without charges, without a fair and public trial, and to torture them as they see fit (NEWS1885) -- all without any oversight by the Court System! You and I are the ultimate targets -- Doubt it not!
Let us now examine some of the specific instances of torture which the Bush Administration has meted out since 9/11.
SPECIFIC INSTANCES OF TORTURE SINCE 9/11
* (NEWS1913) -- Bush promised on 4/30/04 that US had eliminated "torture chambers" and "rape rooms" in Iraq, even though the Pentagon had kept him informed in February, 2004, as to the progress of their investigation of torture and sex abuse in US prisons in Iraq.
* NEWS1915 -- Rush Limbaugh Defends Right of Bush Administration To Torture Iraqis In Prisons Like Abu Ghraib
* NEWS2049 -- CIA Agents Are Forcibly Kidnapping Terrorist Suspects In Friendly Countries, Flying Them Middle East Allies Expert In Torture -- Just As Bush Ordered in 2002
We did most of our reporting on torture news as it was breaking in the Weekly Newsletters which we post every Friday evening. When you search for "torture" on our Google Search Engine for Cutting Edge, use "Advanced Search" and type in both "torture" and "newsletter". You will be shocked to realize how much torturing this President is responsible for, since the attacks of 9/11.
Now, let us examine some current media editorials on this subject.
CURRENT EDITORIALS ON TORTURE
NEWS BRIEF: "Fear distorting the rule of law", By H.D.S. Greenway , The Boston Globe, December 20, 2005
"N MARCH OF 1933, Franklin Roosevelt, facing the crisis of the Great Depression, said in his inaugural address that ''the only thing we have to fear is fear itself -- nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance' ... What Roosevelt meant was that fear can distort judgment and cloud the mind's ability to perceive right turns from wrong turns in the road to safety ... The Bush administration's predilection to torture was clearly a result of mind-clouding fear caused by the greatest terrorist attack in history on Sept. 11th, 2001. The same can be said of the excesses of the Patriot Act, and, too, the decision to use the National Security Agency to spy on American citizens without benefit of warrant as required by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act."
"The Bush administration has shamelessly used fear to get its way ... But in this month of December we may have reached a tipping point. Last week the American Congress finally stood up. President Bush, after expending so much effort trying to find ways to circumvent Senator John McCain's heroic efforts to ban torture, finally surrendered in the Oval Office last week. ''We've sent a message to the world that the United States is not like the terrorists', said McCain -- a message that had been badly diluted by Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, and the administration's efforts to justify the mistreatment of prisoners."
"Congress followed suit by refusing to reenact the Patriot Act as now constituted, and, although the domestic spying case will be argued as to its legality, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter promises congressional hearings ..."
NEWS BRIEF: "Report alleges torture by U.S. at secret prison in Afghanistan", The Denver Post, 12/19/2005
"Kabul, Afghanistan - The United States operated a secret prison in Afghanistan as recently as last year, torturing detainees with sleep deprivation, chaining them to the walls and forcing them to listen to loud music in total darkness for days, a human-rights group alleged today ... According to the report, the detainees were kept in the dark - they called the facility "Dark Prison" - and were tortured and mistreated by U.S. and Afghan guards in civilian clothes, an indication that the facility may have been operated by the CIA ... They were chained to walls, deprived of food and drinking water and kept in total darkness with loud rap, heavy-metal music or other sounds blared for weeks at a time," the report said. "Some detainees said they were shackled in a manner that made it impossible to lie down or sleep, with restraints that caused their hands and wrists to swell up or bruise."
"... the detainees' accounts were given to their lawyers, who passed them on to the rights group. The group said the allegations were credible enough to warrant an official investigation. "We're not talking about torture in the abstract, but the real thing," said John Sifton, a terrorism and counter terrorism researcher at Human Rights Watch. "U.S. personnel and officials may be criminally liable, and a special prosecutor is needed to investigate."
And now, let us review the article which slams through Step 6, the compromise, the attempt to moderate the extreme, just as the Six Step Attitudinal Change Plan envisions. You will be able to see the door to the forbidden activity swinging open -- just a crack for now, but wide open in the near future. McCain introduces the compromise.
NEWS BRIEF: "McCain concedes torture exception", Denver Post, December 21, 2005
"Washington - Sen. John McCain, who pushed the White House to support a ban on torture, suggested Sunday that harsh treatment of a terrorism suspect who knew of an imminent attack would not violate international standards. The Arizona Republican said legislation before Congress would establish in U.S. law the international standard banning any treatment of prisoners that 'shocks the conscience'. That would include, McCain said, mock executions and the controversial technique known as "water-boarding," in which a subject is made to think he is drowning'."
This prohibition language is totally meaningless! Instead of being very firm and plain, the language is so porous it could allow ruthless torture as long as the treatment does not "shock the conscience"! Whose conscience has to be shocked to trigger this prohibition? Is it the conscience of our Skull & Bones President, or is it the conscience of a Fundamentalist Baptist preacher? Obviously, there is undoubtedly a huge world of difference between these two consciences!
Immediately, Senator McCain showed just how meaningless this language is. 'Asked on ABC's This Week whether such treatment of a terrorism suspect who could reveal information that could stop a terrorist operation would shock the conscience, McCain said it would not. 'In that million-to-one situation, then the president of the United States would authorize it and take responsibility for it', McCain said." (Ibid.)
Once you understand the principles of the Six Step Attitudinal Change Plan, you would realize that, once the door is opened just a tiny little crack to the formerly forbidden practice, it will not be too long before that door is kicked wide open, and is being practiced so very often against so many victims. It is no longer a "million-to-one" situation, but is a commonplace way to treat prisoners.
The best route to follow to achieve a successful Step 6 acceptance is to go back to Step 4, where the incessant debate has hardened people's attitudes toward the formerly forbidden subject. Let us review the historical steps through which America passed on the way to Abortion On Demand in all tri-semesters and under virtually any condition.
The key step in this attitudinal change plan is Step #4 which calls for a struggle to occur over the discussion of the previously shocking subject. This struggle is important simply and only because the sheer repetition it provides dulls people's sensibilities. Thus, in any particular debate the proponent of the old value system can brilliantly win the debate, even to the point of making the other side look stupid, but still wind up losing the larger war because the debate served the purpose of sheer repetition. This Plan is insidious and brilliant. It is an excellent example of how Satan works through those people who are serving his cause, for no human being could have conceived this process.
Once Step #4 has sufficiently dulled people's sensitivity toward the formerly objectionable subject, then someone will step into the debate and offer a compromise. Usually, this compromise is that the objectionable practice being proposed will be allowed only under certain circumstances, and will be carefully monitored and controlled. The Mass Media steps into the fray to portray such a compromise as being so "reasonable" and "courageous", and by portraying the opposition to this compromise proposal as being very "unreasonable", "short sighted", and "ignorant". People who have been arguing against this objectionable subject are thus persuaded to accept the compromise, thinking they have just prevented a greater disaster. And the people who are arguing for complete acceptance of the repugnant proposal will accept the compromise, even though they publicly profess "outrage" that they did not come close to winning the battle. However, they know that this compromise was precisely the victory they were seeking, for it opened the door to the anti-Christian behavior just a crack. Once the door has been unlocked and opened just a crack, it will take little effort some years later to systematically force the door all the way open.
The best example of this insidious process is the battle over abortion. The first compromise was to allow abortion only under certain narrowly defined and controlled circumstances, i.e., only if the conception had occurred by rape or incest or only if the mother's life was endangered.
At this point, the door was unlocked and forced open just a tiny crack.
Then, little by little, the door was fully opened, to the point where state legislatures all across America are today passing "Abortion Rights" laws which will allow abortion to occur for any reason. Some of these laws are so bold they allow abortion all the way to birth.
We proponents of Christian values must understand that any compromise under any circumstances is simply and only delayed defeat. Our enemy who is pushing for these changes fully understands this concept. What did Jesus say, that "...the children of this world are, in their generation, wiser than the children of light". (Luke 16:8) They understand human nature much better than do most Christians. They understand that human beings are creatures of progression, that once change is allowed, it becomes ever more pronounced in the life of a person or a nation. This is why God issued permanent rules of conduct that society is to follow from generation to generation. Our leaders have ill served us by allowing compromise with these unregenerate people on matters of morality. They know that, once a change of any type is allowed on a matter which has always been heretofore considered inviolable, further change will occur with little or no effort or trouble.
This Denver Post article represents Step 6 in this Six Step Attitudinal Change Plan. After President Bush and the Senate -- led by McCain -- rhetorically battle over the provision to "outlaw torture", and after the President threatens to veto the entire package if this provision is left in it, Senator McCain steps forward with his grand compromise. His compromise with the President revolves around specific language, as most of these legislative compromises do.
When McCain allows the language "shock the conscience", he opens the door just a crack to torturing victims who have not been proven guilty of any crime. Then, when the Senator tells the Media that he thinks the government could torture in a "million-to-one" instance where the information the victim possesses could thwart a national disaster, the good Mr. McCain has just finalized the Step 6 procedure guaranteeing that the formerly forbidden practice will continue, and even increase.
Remember President Clinton's ridiculous statement about Abortion On Demand? Even though everyone knew he was fervently pro-abortion with no restrictions, Clinton said that he wanted abortion to be "rare", but available. Everyone who knew the facts laughed, for everyone knew that he favored wide-open Abortion. The same situation now faces us with President Bush -- rather than facing "million-to-one" odds in torturing people, President Bush and his Administration can now continue secretly torturing whomever they want; if they are ever challenged, they can claim "National Security", saying that this specific torture was needed to prevent a national disaster.
No one will realize that the Administration may be holding many hundreds, or even thousands.
Such is the victory the Illuminati has won over the American people. Rather than decreasing the chances of torturing people -- or even outlawing torture -- this bill dramatically increases the chances prisoners will continue to be tortured.
Truly, Jesus was right when He forewarned of the incredible deception at the End of the Age.
