I. As Israeli forces enter into their 20th day of attacks against The Gaza Strip, peace talks are suddenly reportedly bearing fruit. Might we see a truce on January 18, the 22nd day of the attacks?

NEWS BRIEF: "Israel focused on war aims in Gaza", Reuter's News, January 16, 2008

"The world might be transfixed by scenes of destruction in Gaza, but this cuts little ice with Israelis, grimly focused on achieving their war aims. Some, such as restoring Israel's military deterrence and badly damaging Hamas's armed capacity, have already been achieved, Israeli analysts and officials say. Others, such as stopping Hamas rocket fire into Israel and preventing the Islamist movement from rearming via tunnels bored under Gaza's border with Egypt, are still incomplete."

Notice that the aim of overthrowing Hamas' leadership is not mentioned in this first paragraph. A number of Israeli opinion columns have been written since the beginning of the attacks which stated that the goal was to remove Hamas leadership on the one hand while allowing Abbas to regain his control over The Gaza Strip on the other hand. Certainly, the plan of the global Illuminati to speed up the process of establishing a Palestinian State would be greatly enhanced if Hamas is officially removed from power. We shall just have to wait to see how this war turns out.

Suddenly, truce talks seem to be gaining momentum.

"Much will depend on the exact terms of a ceasefire agreement that Egypt is mediating and of arrangements expected to involve Egypt, the United States and European countries, notably Germany, to intercept Hamas weapons shipments, the analysts say. 'We have rehabilitated our deterrence, at least vis a vis Hamas and organisations like it', said former Mossad chief Danny Yatom. 'We have hit Hamas's military arm very severely'."

One surprising outcome of this attack is that Israel is now demanding international troops to patrol her land. Previous Prime Ministers of Israel have consistently refused to allow international troops on her soil.

"The Israelis have repeatedly bombed Gaza's 15 km (nine mile) border with Egypt -- which they call the Philadelphi corridor -- to demolish tunnels used to ferry in arms and commercial goods. Once the war is over, they want international guarantees to ensure their Islamist foes cannot replenish their arsenal."

Of course, the Illuminati Plan is for international troops to patrol in many places throughout the world, but especially on the Temple Mount.

Egypt, it seems, wants Palestinian Abbas to gain power from this conflict.

"Israeli analysts said it was too early to tell how the Gaza war would affect the Palestinian power struggle between Hamas and the Fatah faction led by President Mahmoud Abbas. Egypt wants security forces loyal to Abbas's Palestinian Authority to return to Israeli and Egyptian crossings into Gaza."

We should not be too surprised to learn that Egypt is backing the Masonic Palestinian President, Abbas. You see, Egyptian President Mubarak is a Freemason, also, and is therefore, fully supportive of the plan of the Global Illuminati in the Middle East; Mubarak is especially supportive of the Plan to establish a rebuilt Solomon's Temple on the Temple Mount.

On page 455 of Codex Magica, we see a picture of "Masonic Brothers" Yitzhak Rabin (Israel), King Hussein (Jordan), Hosni Mubarak (Egypt) and Yasser Arafat (Palestinian Authority). Mubarak is specifically show making a very special Masonic symbol, "the cabalistic sign of the ram".

Do not be deceived. The Illuminati has control over all aspects of the leadership in the Middle East so they can carry forward their plans. Even Iranian President Ahmadinejad is a Freemason! Breaking news has just been received that Hamas has officially rejected Israeli terms for a ceasefire!

NEWS BRIEF: "Hamas rejects Israeli cease-fire terms", International Herald Tribune, January 16, 2009

"CAIRO: As the war in Gaza entered its 21st day with the quest for an elusive truce set to resume in Cairo and Washington, a top leader of the Hamas militant group battling Israel's onslaught rejected Israel's terms for a cease-fire and urged Arab states to support its resistance. In a speech broadcast across the Arab world and widely followed in the Middle East and elsewhere, Khaled Meshal, the senior leader in exile of Hamas, told an unusual Arab gathering in Doha, Qatar, that 'I assure you: despite all the destruction in Gaza, we will not accept Israel's conditions for a cease-fire. We tell our loved ones in Gaza, the aggression will soon perish on the rock of your steadfastness'."

Long before the Israeli attack on 27 December 2008 against The Gaza Strip, top Hamas leadership relocated to Damascus, Syria. They had anticipated quite a few months ago that the IDF was going to attack, and that they needed to get top leadership out of the area. Israel continued to kill top Hamas leadership which had remained in the Gaza Strip.

"Meshal's comments in Doha followed the death of a senior Hamas leader inside Gaza, Said Siam, who was killed along with his brother and his son when Israel bombed the house that they were in. Siam was the powerful interior minister of the Hamas-run government in Gaza and the overall chief of its security forces, a significant blow for Hamas days after Israel indicated that its military structure remained largely intact."

I would imagine that, if Israel's aim is to topple Hamas leadership in The Gaza Strip, her forces would occupy all offices used by Hamas to govern the Gaza territory. Otherwise, her attacks would not have achieved their ultimate goal, nor would Palestinian President Abbas be able to assume his role of governing in the territory.

Now, let us examine this key news story.

NEWS BRIEF: "Bank of America to receive additional $20 billion", International Herald Tribune, January 16, 2009

"Two weeks after closing its purchase of Merrill Lynch at the urging of U.S. regulators, the government cemented a deal at midnight Thursday to supply Bank of America with a fresh $20 billion capital injection and absorb as much as $98.2 billion in losses on toxic assets ... The bank had been pressing the government for help after it was surprised to learn that Merrill would be taking a fourth-quarter write-down of $15 billion to $20 billion, according to two people who have been briefed on the situation, in addition to Bank of America's rising consumer loan losses. The second lifeline brings the government's total stake in Bank of America to $45 billion and makes it the bank's largest shareholder, with a stake of about 6 percent."

This arrangement is not a new development, but is modeled after earlier government deals.

"The program is modeled after a larger one engineered to stabilize Citigroup as its stock price plummeted in late November...."

In other words, the earlier agreement between the Federal Treasury and banks and insurers is now morphed into a "Template" for other deals. As the American carmakers and retailers beg the government for more funds, they will be agreeing to the same terms the government imposed upon the earlier companies. Government control of key companies throughout our economy will simply skyrocket in the next 2-3 years. By the time Obama has finished his first term, the government will control so much of the different aspects of our economy that the Fascist Model will be firmly in place.

At the same time, Western governments are marching lockstep with America in taking their troubled economies into the Fascist Economy. As Cutting Edge has long stated, the planned economy of Antichrist is the Fascist system. III. President Bush made a spectacle of himself on Thursday, as he tried to justify the worst Presidency of the modern era.

NEWS BRIEF: "Bush admits to 'mistakes' in office in final address as US president", The Guardian (London), 16 January 2009

"In his final public address as US president, George Bush last night conceded he had made mistakes in office but insisted his policies had kept America safe and helped avert a far worse economic downturn."

Remember one thing about the horrid years of the Bush Presidency: he has followed the Illuminati script exactly! Following the eight years of relative peace and prosperity of the Bill Clinton Presidency, the Illuminati turned to foreign affairs as its major emphasis. The planned attacks against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon -- foretold in 1995 by the Illuminati Card Game -- allowed the Illuminati to pass dictatorial laws which, on paper, take away all our guaranteed liberties and rights.

President Bush is a "superstar" to the Global Elite whom he serves. He carried out some very tough actions which were absolutely needed in order to advance the New World Order. However, in public Bush is already being judged harshly.

"Facing approval ratings barely above 25% and already condemned by a number of commentators and historians as the very worst of America's 43 presidents, Bush has spent much of his final weeks in office seeking to salvage his legacy."

Bush lifted up the following "success stories" of his Administration:

1) "Bush claimed foreign policy successes in Iraq and Afghanistan ..."

In truth, American forces were able to "win" in Iraq because immediately after the President announced his plans for a temporary "surge" of troops, Iran quietly ordered the Shi'ite cleric to command his Mahdi Army to unilaterally cease fire. Once the most powerful force battling Coalition Forces stopped fighting, the appearance of winning the war began to take hold.

In Afghanistan, the war is going badly against American/NATO forces. A "surge" of American forces is now underway, leading us to wonder if the first stage of withdrawal is now occurring.

We demonstrate in our video, "The New Atlantis", that you can more easily understand why President Bush ordered troops into Iraq and Afghanistan once you understand the true beginnings of the master plan to produce America out of the North American continent, a concept originally conceived in the 1580's between Queen Elizabeth I and Sir Francis Bacon.

2) Bush "argued that he should be judged favourably on national security, while acknowledging the 'legitimate debate' about some of his policies, for example Guantánamo Bay. 'As the years passed, most Americans were able to return to life much as it had been before 9/11. But I never did', he said. 'America has gone more than seven years without another terrorist attack on our soil'."

Revisiting Guantanamo Bay

Within weeks of the attacks of 9/11, stories began to come forth that American interrogators were torturing prisoners which they had arrested immediately following the attacks. President Bush will be known as the "Torture President", for his approval of the torture of prisoners, first at Guantanamo Bay and then in prisons in Iraq, starting with Abu Ghraib. Cutting Edge was on the forefront in reporting the tortures at Abu Ghraib; but perhaps the most significant revelation came in our Newsletter of November 19, 2005, paragraph IV.

In this newsletter, we quoted the general in charge of Abu Ghraib at the time the disclosure was made, that systematic torturing was occurring there. General Karpinski said that "the abuses at Abu Ghraib 'were not the work of a few wayward soldiers and their female leader .... They were the result of conflicting orders and confused standards extending from the military commanders in Iraq all the way to the summit of civilian leadership in Washington' ".

Indeed, later accusations would finger the Bush White House as the originator of the torture at Abu Ghraib. In fact, General Karpinski also stated that Guantanamo Bay served as the training ground for Islamic-based tortures, as interrogator experts devised specific tortures right after 9/11 which would specifically offend anyone who was Muslim. Once these tortures were perfected at Guantanamo, they were "exported" to Iraqi and Afghani prisons like Abu Ghraib. As Karpinski has said on several occasions, "Abu Ghraib was 'Git-moized' "!

We would not be surprised to learn that, once President Bush leaves the White House, he might be indicted by an International War Crimes tribunal. After all, a convicted George W. Bush would take down the only two enemies the Illuminati has ever admitted to facing, as we report in our archived Headline News Article, NEWS1929, entitled, "CAMPAIGN TO DISCREDIT PRESIDENT BUSH SEEMS MOVING INTO HIGHER GEAR") Since this article was one of the most important we have ever written, we encourage you to take a few moments reading it.

3) "Bush sought credit for policies in education, medical and welfare programmes..."

4) Bush also "argued he had taken 'decisive measures' to safeguard the US economy. 'These are very tough times for hardworking families, but the toll would be far worse if we had not acted', he said."

This area is one in which President Bush faithfully carried out the Illuminati program of "saving" the economy by first passing laws which helped drive banks and insurers and automakers into the abyss and then by giving huge amounts of taxpayer money to these industry leaders, in exchange for the Treasury owning significant amounts of those companies. This new government stake in these companies made it possible for the government to regulate them, just as the Fascist Economic Model requires.

In fact, this transition from the trusted system of Capitalism to Fascism could only have been initiated by a President thought to be Conservative. Once Bush declared that the economy was so bad off that he had to resort to Socialist/Fascist means to save it, Conservative opposition was silenced. Now that the "template" has been established, President Obama will have little difficulty carrying out the rest of the transition of our economy to Fascism.

I found it interesting that the length of Bush's speech is one of the Illuminati's favorite sacred numbers.

"The 13-minute speech was Bush's last chance to address his record before he leaves office on Tuesday."

The number '13' represents "extreme rebellion against constituted authority", namely the authority of the God of the Holy Bible. This action guaranteed that the number '13' was permanently attached to the new nation.
