But, the unsaved people will react the way the three TV anchors reacted, and that is with glee that a Christian pastor would even suggest such a thing.

One old saying holds true in this regard: "What one generation tolerates, the next generation will embrace".

What a Christian church leader seems to imply is all right to think, the unsaved will take as license to actually do. Rick Warren has badly damaged the cause of Jesus Christ.

Operation Rescue also opposes Rick Warren delivering Obama's Inaugural Prayer, but from a unique perspective.

As a minister of the Gospel, it is a betrayal of innocent children and, more importantly, betrayal of the God in whose image they are created to turn a blind eye to the shedding of innocent blood and join hands with those that are responsible for shedding it."

We could not agree more! As events unfold over the next four years, genuine Christians are going to be continually dismayed by President Obama's numerous unbiblical positions. We know that he will fervently support abortion upon demand. The Reverend Rick Warren is placing a stamp of validity from the Evangelical Christian camp by agreeing to deliver the Inaugural Prayer.

Cutting Edge felt the same way on January 20, 2001, when the evangelist, Franklin Graham, delivered the Inaugural Prayer for President Bush.

This is a sad day in American history, when we cannot count upon current Christian leaders to take stands correctly on Biblical authority.

II. Israel seems about ready to go to war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Since Israel is deeply enmeshed in her January election campaign for Prime Minister, some of this rhetoric can be dismissed as campaign posturing. Surely, Foreign Minister Livni is so Liberal that the only reason on earth why she would sound so aggressive here is because she is appealing to the Conservative Israeli whose support she desperately needs if she is going to win the election.

What caused this current crisis? Terror Rockets fired into Israeli territory from The Gaza Strip.

"Olmert, Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak have been in meetings with military commanders to decide whether to move ahead with aerial or ground assaults on Gaza. Hamas said Dec. 19 it will not renew the unwritten truce set with Israel last June. Palestinians fired at least 19 rockets and mortar shells across the border today, according to the Israeli army ... Israeli forces destroyed a Palestinian rocket launching pad in a helicopter strike and yesterday killed a Palestinian who was launching rockets, the army said. Palestinian Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the rocket attacks."

Now, Livni and her adviser seem to get really tough on terror - all to appeal to the Israeli voter. She even threatens to "topple Hamas"!

"Livni, who is running neck and neck in pre-election polls with former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the Likud Party, told members of her Kadima Party today that she will toughen the response to Hamas. 'The state of Israel and a government under me will make it a strategic objective to topple the Hamas regime in Gaza', Livni said in remarks broadcast on Israel Radio. 'The means for doing this should be military, economic and diplomatic.”

"Mofaz, Livni’s running mate from Kadima, said he wouldn’t wait for the election. 'It is time to act', Mofaz told reporters after the Cabinet meeting. 'What else needs to happen? Are we waiting for children to die, for people to be injured?'

Livni and former IDF general Mofaz, are getting this tough only because of the election. But, remember, the war or peace decision will come from the current PM Olmert, until the election is actually held. This leaves Livni and Mofaz strategically free to sound as war-like as possible, in order to appeal to the Conservative voter.

Hamas has not only refused to renew the current "Ceasefire", but seems to have declared war on Israel, as this next story indicates.

Hamas is certainly trying to inflict casualties on IDF forces, as you would expect if they had declared war on Israel.

"In northern Gaza, rockets and mortar shells are still fired into sparsely populated southern Israel. The mortars are also used to fire at Israeli military installations along the security fence. Along the Egyptian border, Hamas threatens violence if the Egyptian security forces get too aggressive in shutting down the smuggling tunnels that bring weapons and consumer goods in."

Most people of the world do not realize that Hamas is this aggressive against Israel, almost daily. However, Israeli leaders certainly know, which explains why they are so adamantly opposed to Hamas leadership. They fear and loather Hamas leadership at the same time they actively support Palestinian President Abbas, and constantly try to build up his reputation amidst both Israel and Palestinian.

While I find this bold request for government bailout funds from private property developers disturbing, I did predict this development several weeks ago. You see, for Fascism to work as an economic model, the government must extend its control throughout the entire economy. Therefore, it just made sense that other important elements of the economy would line up to beg for government monies -- a request which would lead to government control, just as we see now in the Banking, Insurance, and Automaking industry today.

Also as is customary, a very frightening scenario is painted if the government does not pony up the bailout cash.

"The industry is warning that thousands of office complexes, hotels, shopping centers and other commercial buildings are headed for defaults, foreclosures and bankruptcies, owing to some $530 million of commercial mortgages that will be coming due for refinancing in the next three years. They say that this poses another major threat to the global financial system, already severely weakened."

We expect that the Obama Administration will react favorably to this request, because the government certainly does want to control all key segments of the economy -- the Fascist Economic Model demands it.
