in the Foreign Ministry. The conflict, he said, is over Israel’s
very existence."
This Prime Minister has his head screwed on
straight! He understands his enemy, unlike former Prime Minister
Olmert, who was always so Liberal you would suspect he had
no idea the murderous plans the Palestinians have laid for
Israel.
"In proof, he pointed to the Israeli withdrawal
from Gaza in 2005, which included the forced removal of thousands
of Jewish residents of the area. Israel got rocket attacks
in exchange, he said."
If you want more proof, all you have to do is
look to Palestinian President Yassir Arafat, as he launched
another "Intifada" internal uprising after the Camp
David Accords in late July , 2000. After President Clinton
put a lot of pressure on Israeli PM Barak to give Arafat much
more land and more control than anyone had ever thought possible,
Arafat arrogantly rejected this unprecedented offer and began
an "Intifada"!

The current Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas,
agrees with Arafat.

Abbas said on Sunday that the PA will not meet Israel’s
demand that it recognize Israel as the Jewish State ... Abbas

the PA agrees to this requirement, there would be no value
to the million and a half PA Arabs living in Israel, and no
refugee would be allowed to come back to Israel, in keeping
with the PA demand that Israel allow millions of Arab refugees
to return to their old homes in Israeli cities as part of
a future agreement."
Of course, Abbas is undoubtedly aware that the
REAL historic home to the Palestinians is the Jordanian provinces
of Moab and Edom. If the Arabs were truly interested in providing
a territorial home to the Palestinians, they would be pressuring
Jordan's King to open his borders to allow the Palestinians
squatting on Israeli land. But, of course, Jordan's King will
never allow this to occur for a couple of interesting reasons"
1) He is already threatened by the reality that
Palestinians within Jordan constitute a majority population.
If he allowed three million more Palestinians to cross his
border.
2) All Arab leaders are united in their desire
to continue using the aggravation of three million hostile
Palestinians living within Israel's borders to bring the Jewish
State down.

representatives of various political parties, parliamentarians

were conducting secret talks about forming a future confederation."

The courageous state of Alabama joins a growing list of states
which have passed bills specifically aimed at thwarting Federal
laws of gun control.
Will this law
be signed by the governor, if and when it reaches his desk?

"A bill to nullify all federal gun control
measures passed by a wide margin in the Alabama Senate today.
The vote was 24-6 (roll call here) Senate Bill 93 (SB93) declares
that 'All federal acts, laws, orders, rules, or regulations
regarding firearms are a violation of the Second Amendment',
and therefore, 'are invalid in this state, shall not be recognized
by this state, are specifically rejected by this state, and
shall be considered null and void and of no effect in this
state'.”
This action is truly courageous and brings to
my mind the old Revolutionary flag which boldly shouted, "Don't
Tread On Me"!
"Bill Sponsor Senator Paul Sanford affirmed
as much during debate on the bill. He said, 'They’re
not going to use our law enforcement officials to enforce
their law that is unconstitutional'.”
"This would make a HUGE dent in any federal effort to
further restrict the right to keep and bear arms in Alabama
– and would be a big step forward for gun rights supporters
there. As Judge Andrew Napolitano has said recently, such
widespread noncompliance can make a federal law “nearly
impossible to enforce”.
"There is absolutely ZERO serious dispute about the
fact that the federal government cannot “commandeer”
the states to carry out its laws. None. Even the Supreme Court
has affirmed this multiple times."
Alabama has built in a "poison pill" designed to
prevent the Federal Government from forcing her officials
to adopt Federal laws to which they fundamentally disagree.

"In case the full state and local noncompliance doesn’t
work as intended, SB93 includes a mechanism to take additional
steps in the future. It reads, 'The Legislature shall adopt
and enact any and all measures as may be necessary to prevent
the enforcement of any federal acts, laws, orders, rules,
or regulations in violation of the Second Amendment to the
United States Constitution'.”
I hope this bill now goes to the desk of the governor, and
that he signs it promptly. All Conservative states must act
quickly to also prohibit these new Federal gun control laws
from taking effect in their states. Otherwise, the momentum
toward gun confiscation might jump to "critical mass".
Remember the lesson of history: No dictator has ever come
to power in a country whose citizens possess their own guns.
In the 20th Century many millions of average citizens have
lost their lives to tyrannical regimes -- Hitler's Germany,
Stalin's Russia, and Mao Tse-tung's China -- whose dictators
struck after guns were surrendered.
