1. The International
"Deal of the Century" -- Bribe of the Century?
-- begins today in Bahrain.
NEWS BRIEF: "The
Bribe of the Century", The

"The economic portion
of the 'Deal of the Century', or, in the name's
updated version, the 'Opportunity of the Century',
may be summed up as a fairly blatant attempt to bribe
the Palestinian people."
To President Trump's
credit, he has not proceeded on the basis of a "Two-State
Solution", which has failed time and time again
for the past 50 years. Albert Einstein is said to
have remarked that "trying something over and
over again, expecting a different result, is the true
definition of Insanity".
By this definition,
the strenuous efforts by President Nixon, Ford, Carter,
Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr., and Obama are insane.
After 50 years of repeated failure, it is amazing
how many heads of state today still repeat the same
insane mantra.
If Trump's "Deal
of the Century" is a bribe, how large of a bribe
is it? Prepare to be amazed.
"To the credit
of those who came up with this plan, it should be
said that the bribe is neither small nor modest. It
involves an enormous sum of money: approximately 50
billion dollars that are slated to bolster several
Middle Eastern economies, and of which a significant
part will be transferred to the Palestinian territories."
I can just see Saudi
Arabia, Qatar and the UAE dipping deep into their
oil revenues to dig this sum of money out of the ground.
President Trump believes
that the political issue of a full Palestinian State
would be far less grievous to a people whose lives
have been dramatically improved by full stomachs,
genuine jobs, and a national infrastructure which
makes life easier for everyone.
Perhaps this plan might
work for a Westerner.
Perhaps this plan might
work for an Arab who lives in Saudi Arabia.
But, it will not work
for a Palestinian whose hatred of the Jew is probably
the greatest of any people on Earth. From the cradle
to the grave, Palestinians are propagandized against
Jews, taught to believe martyrdom in fighting to destroy
Israel is far better than economic success.

"President Mahmoud
Abbas reiterated his hopes that the US-proposed peace
plan, dubbed Deal of the Century, will go to hell."
The really important
fact is that Palestinian President Abbas has rejected
Trump's "Deal of the Century" economic and
political plan and has consigned it to Hell BEFORE
he has learned the details!
In other words, even
if this plan sells him gold at $1 per ounce, he will
reject it and throw the deal into the fiery furnace
of Hell! How can this be?
Abbas is joined with
the original head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization
(PLO), Yassir Arafat, who rejected a number of peace
plans which gave him 95% of his demands, simply because
Israel was left alive and on Planet Earth.
The Palestinian's hatred
for he Jewish people is so deep and goes back 2,600
years, that they will not accept any agreement which
does not eradicate Israel and every Jew within the
Holy Land!
However, some people
are arguing that this Trump plan of prosperity first,
Statehood second, will result in a full nation after
all.

Saudi diplomat told Globes on Friday that Trump's
‘Deal of the Century' includes a 'clear
path leading to complete Palestinian independence'...
He went on to explain that both him and other countries
are ready to invest 'massive sums of money on a scale
the Palestinians would never even dreamed of receiving'.
He added that if they will transition to true independence,
decent education, employment and a robust economy
that isn't dependent on handouts…'This
is where it may be hard for them to grow out of their
self perpetuating image of the eternal victim. They
don't believe they can manage without it'."
Even if the Palestinian
Authority were to receive many billions of dollars,
they would not spend it in building a nation of prosperous
people, but would pour much of it into a future war
against Israel.
2. One day earlier,
a special Three-Party Summit convened in Jerusalem
-- Israel, United States, Russia.

"The United States
opened a two-day conference in Bahrain Tuesday, focusing
on the economic aspects of President Donald Trump's
Israeli-Arab peace plan, dubbed the 'deal of the century'.
The declared aim of the workshop is achieving economic
stability in the Palestinian Authority -- but the
PA has boycotted the event, which it claims is an
attempt to buy them off."
"The workshop in
Manama will bring together government, business and
civil society leaders, according to a joint statement
by the two organizing countries. It could see large-scale
investment pledges for the Palestinian Authority,
but is unlikely to focus heavily on the political
issues at the core of the Israeli-Arab conflict."
I am sure that many
people were shocked that the Palestinian Authority
would categorically refuse to attend a meeting called
just for them!

in the conference, adding they were not consulted
before it was announced ... 'this is a collective
Palestinian position, from President Mahmoud Abbas
and the PLO Executive Committee to all Palestinian
political movements and factions, national figures,
private sector and civil society'."

Authority leader said a political solution must come
before any discussion of economic issues."
As we have stated earlier,
American presidents for the past 50 years have been
trying to establish a Palestinian State first, but
have been rebuffed time and time again by the Palestinian
Authority. To insist upon this theory again is to
invite rejection again.
If Israel cannot
attend the Bahrain Conference, leaders of America
and Russia can come to her!
NEWS BRIEF: "Patrushev
at Jerusalem Summit: We
Want Threats Against Israel Eliminated",

"Russian Security
Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev on Tuesday morning
stated at the start of a three-way summit in Jerusalem
with Israel and the US: "We understand Israel's
concerns and we want the existing threats to be eliminated
so that Israel's security be ensured, and this
is very important for us."
Russia here is sending
a strong signal to Iran and to the Palestinians to
finally make peace with tiny Israel. However, I greatly
doubt that any avowed enemy of Israel will pay any
attention. Still, this diplomatic statement from Russia
one day before the Bahrain Conference begins is most
startling because it is so unusual.

3. The Palestinian-controlled
terror army, Hezbollah, is now issuing orders to the
Syrian military, preparing for a war against Israel.

"With Hezbollah
one of the chief powers setting the tone in the country
after years of civil war, Syrian army forces are now
in some cases taking their orders from the organization
— and helping it spy on Israel."
Can you imagine? The
Palestinian terror group, Hezbollah, is now issuing
orders to the Syrian military? This development is
historically unprecedented. Syria's President Assad
has now given over his National Sovereignty to a terror
group?
For the past several
years, Hezbollah has been aggressively taking over
Lebanon, through assassinations of key government
officials and gradual intense political pressure.
But, it is horrifying
to realize that now Syria is taking military orders
from Hezbollah, because this means that Iran has gained
another proxy power in the region. Iran can order
Syrian, Lebanese and Hezbollah forces to attack Israel
while denying that she has gone to war with the Jewish
State.

4. Last week,
President Trump ordered American naval and air forces
to attack target(s) in Iran to retaliate against the
Iranian shoot-down of a drone.

ships were abruptly turned back when already on their
way on Thursday, June 20, to strike a 'handful' of
Iranian targets after the downing of a US drone ...
His top advisers, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo,
national security adviser John Bolton and CIA Director
Gina Haspel, pushed hard for the president to retaliate
militarily for the downing of the US Navy Triton over
international Gulf waters. They were concerned not
only by the urgency to shore up US deterrence in the
face of mounting Iranian attacks on US interests and
allies in the region, but the impact inaction would
have on America's standing in relation to China, Russia
and North Korea."
But, he aborted
the mission just 10 minutes before American planes
could have reached their targets.
"Early Friday,
some administration sources acted to repair some of
the damage to American deterrence caused by the Trump
backtrack. They maintained that the operation was
not called off only put back by a few days."
Why would the
President abort the mission just minutes before reaching
target?
Normally, once aircraft
are in the air flying to their target, they are not
called back mere minutes before they destroy their
target. President Trump runs the risk of being considered
weak and vacillating as a military commander.
All the pros and cons
are debated before the chief commander issues his
attack order. Once the attack order is given, all
debate ends and every adviser closes ranks behind
the President.
So, why did President
Trump call off the attack?
The possible
answer might surprise you.
I only see a couple
of reasons Trump may have called off this attack just
10 minutes before the planes were at their targets.
1) To send the strongest
possible message to the Bahrain Summit meeting that
the Middle East is teetering on the brink of a disastrous
war. If economic progress is not made that will cause
wealth to flow down to the average citizen, then the
entire region could be set afire.
2) Prime Minister Netanyahu
might have intervened personally.
In the past 6 months
or so, Israeli military and civilian advisers have
warned the Prime Minister that this war will be horrifically
damaging to Israel, far beyond any other war in modern
history.
For this reason, Netanyahu
did not respond several weeks ago when Hamas fired
700 missiles into Israel in a 24-hour period! This
lack of response was incredible! Netanyahu wants to
delay the onset of this war as long as he can.
Since he is afraid that
an American attack directly on Iranian soil could
ignite the conflagration that would immdiately envelope
Israel, he very well might have called upon his great
friend, President Trump, to call off this attack.
3) PM Netanyahu wants
to preserve Russian and Iranian perception that American
naval and air forces stationed at key points in the
Middle East are forces with which to be reckoned.
We have already posited
the reality that President Trump has strategically
placed an aircraft battle carrier group north and
south of Israel, so that he can keep Russia from intervening
against Israel's battle against the Palestinians.
Once the battle begins
to rage against the Palestinians in the Obadiah War,
Russia might be tempted to intervene from the north,
i.e., from Syria and Lebanon. Turkey is also operating
forces in Syria.
But, an American aircraft
carrier battle group sits in the Mediterranean Sea
near the Syrian/Israeli border, thus checkmating any
possible Russian/Turkish intervention.
Likewise, another American
carrier battle group is sitting in the Persian Gulf,
checkmating any direct Iranian intervention.
But, if this American
counterstrike against Irnian targets misfires,
for whatever reason, then Russian and
Iranian perception of American military capability
might decrease enough that Russia and Iran might be
tempted to fight the Americans so to engage Israel
directly.
Calling off the military
strike keeps America's military perception fully intact.

Court overruled a decision by an earlier Court.
"The dissent noted
Friday's case was the second time this term
that the conservative justices have overturned a controlling
precedent, prompting Kagan to ask, forebodingly, which
precedent the high court will overrule next."
"Just last month,
when the Court overturned another longstanding precedent,
Justice [Stephen] Breyer penned a dissent,"
Kagan wrote. "He wrote of the dangers of reversing
legal course ‘only because five members of a
later Court' decide that an earlier ruling was
incorrect. He concluded: ‘Today's decision
can only cause one to wonder which cases the Court
will overrule next.'"
