"... something has happened to the doctrine of justification by faith ... The faith of Paul and Luther was a revolutionizing thing. In the divine scheme of salvation, the doctrine of faith is central. Every benefit flowing from the atonement of Christ comes to the individual through the gateway of faith. We dare take nothing for granted concerning it. For a number of years, my heart has been troubled over the doctrine of faith as it is received and taught among evangelical Christians everywhere ... the modern conception of faith is not the Biblical one. Faith is not the believing of a statement we know to be true. Faith based upon human reason is "faith of a kind", but it is not the character of the Biblical faith. True faith rests upon the character of God and asks no further proof than the moral perfection's of the One Who cannot lie.

Faith as the Bible knows it is confidence in God and His Son, Jesus Christ; it is the response of the soul to the divine character as revealed in the Scriptures, and yet even this response is impossible apart from the prior inworking of the Holy Spirit. Faith is a gift of God to a penitent soul and has nothing whatsoever to do with the senses of the data they afford. Faith is a miracle; it is the ability God gives to trust His Son ... Any professed faith in Christ as personal Saviour that does not bring the life under plenary obedience to Christ as Lord is inadequate and must betray its victim at the last.

The man who believes will obey. God gives faith to the obedient heart only. Where real repentance is, there is obedience. To escape the error of salvation by works we have fallen into the opposite error of salvation without obedience. God will incline us to repent, but He cannot do our repenting for us. A whole new generation of Christians has come up believing that it is possible to "accept" Christ without forsaking the world ... the whole world has been booby-trapped by the Devil." [A.W. ABBA - A Palestinian Aramaic word that is found in three places in the New Testament that refers to God. It means "father". I. President Bush was inaugurated for his second term on Thursday, January 20, 2005, at 12:00 Noon. Several aspects of this inauguration and his address merit special attention, because the President has revealed some very important information about his second term. Let us cover the salient points.

A. For the first time ever, President Bush allied his administration with the Founding Father's ultimate goal of a "New World Order"! Of course, he did not use this "hot-button" term, but he did use its twin. Let us review the exact quote:

President George Bush announced in this paragraph toward the end of his address that he is setting his second administration in the same direction -- 'going forward' -- as the Founding Fathers originally intended when they founded this nation on July 4, 1776. What was their ultimate goal for their "New World Order", identified on the back of our One Dollar Bill as Novus Ordo Seclorum? According to New Age authors, the ultimate goal of this historical drive is to produce the One World System of government, economy, and religion which their Masonic (New Age) Christ can appear on the world scene to assume control.

All the details to prove this most important point are provided in NEWS2001.

The critically important message that the President gave the world was that his second administration was going to proceed full speed ahead to achieve the historic objective envisioned by America's Founding Fathers. B. Then, President Bush uttered one more common phrase found in Satanism!

NEWS BRIEF: "President Thanks Military, Guests at 'Celebration of Freedom' Concert", White House Press Release, The Ellipse, Washington, D.C., January 19, 2005

"But I will speak about freedom. This is the cause that unites our country and gives hope to the world and will lead us to a future of peace. We have a calling from beyond the stars to stand for freedom, and America will always be faithful to that cause."

This term, "from beyond the stars" is certainly not found in the Bible, so it is not Christian. Further, it is not commonly used in the American culture, so from whence did it come? Surprise, it comes from Illuminized Satanism! Listen carefully:

"The amulet that I held in my hand, and hold to this very day, around my neck as I write these words, is this: Of the three symbols carved, the first is the Sign of our Race from beyond the Stars, and is called ARRA in the tongue of the Scribe who taught it to me, an emissary of the Elder Ones. In the tongue of the eldest city of Babylon, it was UR. It is the Sigil of the Covenant of the Elder Gods, and will not forget us. They have sworn!" ["THE NECRONOMICAN": Pertaining to occult, mystical, and spiritual subjects"]

The first fact you can glean from this quote from The Necronomican is that this term comes from Ancient Babylon, that city and religious system cursed by God many times in both the Old and New Testaments. However, Freemasonry in all its forms -- including Skull & Bones -- pays great homage and honor to Babylon, and admit over and over again that their Mysteries comes directly from the ancient pagan systems of Babylon and Egypt.

The Illuminati clearly sees that their plan to establish Antichrist comes from supernatural beings who come "from beyond the stars". Our Masonic Founding Fathers clearly had this vision in mind, as we also reveal in NEWS2001.

Our Masonic Founding Fathers have always believed that their establishment of America was a project taken in cooperation with "high spiritual beings" from "beyond the stars". In fact, that is exactly the symbolism of the All-Seeing Eye hovering over the unfinished pyramid on the back on the American One Dollar Bill. The god Horus (Lucifer) is hovering over the unfinished work on Earth, being carried out to change the world so the Masonic Christ could appear.

Thus President Bush is hearkening back to our Masonic roots in two ways during this inauguration: By his statement above, that he is "going forward" with the original Founding Father's concept of a "New Order of the Ages" (New World Order) and by his quote of this phrase "a calling from beyond the stars", which clearly originates in Satanism.

Since Masons fervently believe the Masonic Christ will appear on Earth as the result of their efforts, we can be sure that President Bush is telling the world that his actions during this second term will be taken in order to further that original national goal. These two statements are startling, and very revealing as to the true nature of the heart of this President.

C. When President Bush "faced the obelisk" (Washington Monument) during his inauguration, he also sent a message to every occult follower throughout the world that his second administration is going to continue the drive to the New World Order implied by this awful, pagan Egyptian obelisk.

Bush's message by facing the obelisk is really the same as in his coded message to which we referred in Paragraph 'A', above. We posted an indepth article on this subject on January 20 -- NEWS2000.

Most people do not know enough about Satanism and about God's hatred of obelisks as recorded in Scripture to know to be afraid of God's Judgment. Most Christians will tend to downplay his facing the Washington obelisk, because they have been so conditioned to accept it as just harmless history. But, the Scripture records God's hatred of all of Baal's obelisks.

C. President Bush's Second Inaugural Address was a great speech, filled with empty, lofty-sounding platitudes meant to satisfy his fellow Americans who still believe in him. For example, he used the term, "freedom" a total of 27 times in his short speech. However, his speech was not well received in foreign lands, including some of our allies, and it was positively rejected as completely hypocritical by any discerning citizen. Let us address these issues:

NEWS BRIEF: "George Bush's talk of spreading freedom and democracy is a sugar-coated lie", by Johann Hari,
The Independent Online (London), January 21, 2005.

"In his second inaugural address yesterday, George Bush presented America as the armed wing of Amnesty International.

"So why do I feel so despairing and so foolish? Because the rhetoric is flatly contradicted by US action on the ground, and we simply have to be honest about it."

This reality on the ground is an issue to which we shall return momentarily. Remember the adages, that "talk is cheap", and that "your actions are screaming so loudly, I can't hear a word you are saying". Now, let us return to this Independent article as he states which "US action on the ground" he is seeing which give the lie to the President's inaugural words.

"If Bush was serious about 'exporting democracy and freedom', the best place to start would be with the authoritarian regimes he currently funds, supports and deals weaponry to.

Now, let us hear from a Muslim as he reacts to President Bush's address.

While many Americans may not want to believe this analysis, the reality is that, for some "mysterious" reason, American troops are still fighting in Afghanistan over three years after being sent to this militarily weak country! Something isn't right, and this analysis makes more sense than the rhetoric flowing from American Mass Media.

View from India, Sikh taxi driver in Delhi: "Bush cannot give freedom to Iraq when so many people in Iraq are against him. If he leaves, they will get freedom ... in all Muslim countries it's very difficult to get freedom ... all the Muslims are against Bush. He says he wants to spread freedom, but I don't think it's true."

View from Belgium: "Terrorism exists but he doesn't consider the causes or long-term consequences. You have to monitor ... people who stir up hatred ... But do not bombard an entire country like Iraq. Measures should be better targeted and better thought through."

View from Israel, Kibbutz member and retired science librarian; "I don't think you can impose democracy on any Islamic country or even on China. It's a fallacy."

Now, please allow Cutting Edge to now weigh in upon the "US action on the ground" which give the absolute lie to his pretty talk about exporting American values like freedom and democracy and liberty.

Depleted Uranium: President Bush launched another silent nuclear war against other Muslim countries when he invaded Afghanistan in October, 2001 and Iraq in March, 2003. As we have documented, our undermanned Army is skillfully spreading tons and tons of Depleted Uranium dust in Iraq and Afghanistan, knowing the winds are spreading the contaminated dust up to 1,000 miles from their battlefields. We have demonstrated that Iraq is going to be uninhabitable in less than 20 years. A former Marine reported that the Iraqi people are beginning to understand the death sentence with which we have saddled them with our D.U. weaponry . Killing Over 100,000 Iraqi Civilians: The respected British magazine, Lancet, reported that their extensive study of the number of deaths of civilians from Coalition Forces' firepower had killed over 100,000 civilians! (The Guardian (London); Dawn International). The only "freedom" these civilians ever received from President Bush is the "freedom of the grave"..

Destruction of Cities like Fallujah: During our battle for Fallujah immediately following the November Presidential Election, our forces destroyed and/or damaged almost every building in this city of 300,000! Then, to add insult to injury, the American command announced they would force every returning Fallujan citizen to submit to a Retina Eye scan and to wear badges which would limit them to a certain area of the city. If Marines found an Iraqi in a part of the city he was not authorized to be in, they were authorized to use "deadly force". (NEWS1987).

The internal impact of such "scorched earth policies" has been enormous; for the first time in hundreds of years, Sunni and Shi'ite factions are united. Today, the only Iraqis being killed by the insurgents are those cooperating with Coalition Forces. Fundamentally, a huge ground-shift has occurred, uniting Sunni and Shi'ite against America.

Torture and Sexual Humiliation Scandal: Despite Bush's pretty words in his address yesterday, the cold, hard fact on the ground is that our soldiers have been regularly torturing and sexually humiliating Muslim prisoners ever since we toppled Saddam. Furthermore, these types of abuses were specifically aimed at offending sensibilities these prisoners were known to have because they are Muslim. Furthermore, General Janice Karpinski, who was in charge of Abu Ghraib Prison, states that the guilt goes up the Chain of Command all the way through Defense Secretary Rumsfeld to the White House (Newsletter December 25, 2004, Paragraph II).

Holding Prisoners Without Charges and Without Trial, But Torturing Them Nonetheless: If President Bush wants to be taken seriously in his pious assertions about wanting to spread American ideals throughout the world, he needs to stop treating Arab prisoners in this manner, many of whom are totally innocent! This reality was made quite clear last week. We treated this sorry subject in last week's newsletter, January 15, 2005, Paragraph IV, B, as we told the story of the Arab-Australian, Habib. Read it and weep! As long as President Bush is mistreating innocent Islamic prisoners, no one should take his lofty words seriously.

E. Even though Bush promised that no one deserved being made a slave, I would feel a whole lot better if the President and his Attorney General had not demanded, and received, the most dictatorial laws in the history of this Republic. In fact, Patriot Acts I and II grant the Federal Government as much dictatorial power as Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin possessed!

"The President and his national-security advisers have consolidated control over the military and intelligence communities’ strategic analyses and covert operations to a degree unmatched since the rise of the post-Second World War national-security state. Bush has an aggressive and ambitious agenda for using that control—against the mullahs in Iran and against targets in the ongoing war on terrorism—during his second term ... Despite the deteriorating security situation in Iraq, the Bush Administration has not reconsidered its basic long-range policy goal in the Middle East ... Rumsfeld added that America was committed to staying in Iraq and that there would be no second-guessing.

“This is a war against terrorism, and Iraq is just one campaign. The Bush Administration is looking at this as a huge war zone ' ”

Did you catch this most pertinent phrase? "The Bush Administration is looking at this (Middle East) as a huge war zone"

The picture you will find emerging from this article is an administration run amok, who will fight wherever it wishes, with whom it wishes, and will tolerate no restraints whatsoever! All the disasters associated with the rationale as to why we invaded Iraq are swept under the rug, to be ignored and/or forgotten.

Returning to Seymour Hersch:

"The President has signed a series of findings and executive orders authorizing secret commando groups and other Special Forces units to conduct covert operations against suspected terrorist targets in as many as ten nations in the Middle East and South Asia ... The President’s decision enables Rumsfeld to run the operations off the books—free from legal restrictions imposed on the C.I.A. ... In my interviews, I was repeatedly told that the next strategic target was Iran." [Ibid.]

America has been threatening Iran since the Summer, 2003. However, it does seem now that an attack on Iran is imminent, especially since credible news sources are reporting that American Special Forces have been conducting reconnaissance missions inside the country since last Summer. This scenario raises some very interesting questions, which only the unfolding of events will answer:

1) A Russian general revealed in June, 2002, that Iran already possesses nuclear weapons ! Therefore, this buildup of rhetoric condemning Iran for being close to developing nuclear warheads is completely false propaganda! The aim of this rhetoric is simply to convince the world that we are justified in attacking another sovereign country. Of course, we know the reason for this attack is to achieve a "Regime Change" because Iran is considered a "Non-Integrating" nation.

2) How can we invade Iran since we are so militarily over-stretched and undermanned in Iraq?

3) If we attack with just air power and/or missiles, will we be able to destroy Iran's total effort? Some intelligence services are estimating that 350 separate targets will have to be destroyed, some of them hidden well below ground. (DEBKAfile Intelligence, November 19, 2004).

4) Is the hardline Iranian government protected by Biblical prophecy? In Ezekiel 38, God lists the countries which will be joining Russia to march against Israel in the Latter Days. Persia is listed, which is modern Iran. Today, the Iranian government is constituted exactly the way you would expect from a government marching against Israel: Anti-Israel and Anti-Western. If the US successfully overthrows this hardline Iranian government, Bush will impose a Pro-West, Pro-Israeli government.

Therefore, we doubt whether an American attack on Iran will result in a government overthrow. We may attack savagely to try to take out nuclear and other infrastructure facilities, but I doubt the government will fall.

5) Will Russia simply stand back to allow her Iranian ally to be savagely attacked, especially to the point of overthrowing the hardline regime now in power? After all, in April, 2003, as Coalition Forces were consolidating control over all Iraq, Russian President Putin stepped forward after meeting with the Presidents of Germany and France and warned America that they would not tolerate any more invasions and no more "Regime Changes". NEWS BRIEF: "No strike on other countries, Putin warns US", Sify News, April 12, 2003.

"Saint Petersburg -- Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday warned the US-led coalition not to attack other countries under the pretext of promoting capitalist and democratic values ... 'We are not going to export capitalist, democratic revolutions,' the Russian leader told reporters as rumours in Washington allege that some elements of the US administration are mulling launching military operations against other Middle Eastern states. 'If we do, we're going to end up on a slippery slope to non-ending military conflicts. We can't let that happen,' Putin said at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and French President Jacques Chirac after holding talks with them."

Now, the international authority and prestige of Russia, Germany and France are on the line. If they sit back, allowing Iran to be defeated, their credibility will be shattered. Since Russia has spent billions of dollars and much prestige to rebuild all the contacts with Arab countries which the old Soviet Union enjoyed, this loss of prestige will be very difficult to accept. An attack which threatens to overthrow the Iranian government may just open the floodgates for a conflict between Russia and America.

Remember this fact when we get to Paragraph VIII, below.

III. More bad spiritual fruits from President Bush were evident in recent news.

A. President Bush announced that he would not seek a Senate ban on gay marriages, thus reneging on his long-standing promise to the Conservative and/or Christian constituency.

Bush will not actively seek to ban gay marriage in the United States during his second term in office -- a stance certain to anger the social conservatives who helped re-elect him. Many Senators think the Defense of Marriage Act, an existing law that allows states not to recognize gay marriages enacted in other states, is sufficient, according to Bush. 'The point is, is that Senators have made it clear that so long as DOMA is deemed constitutional, nothing will happen. I'd take that admonition seriously', Bush told the Post."

The fact of the matter is that the Defense of Marriage Act will NOT prevent a state from recognizing gay marriages or its identical twin, civil unions. The DOMA does define marriage as a union between a man and a wife, but does not specifically forbid gay unions should any state wish to enact such a legal arrangement. Now, let us continue with this Yahoo News article for more distressing detail:

"Bush voiced active support for a gay marriage ban during the 2004 presidential campaign, whipping up support from social conservatives, including Evangelical Christians who turned out in droves to re-elect him. Immediately after his election victory his top political strategist (Karl Rove) said the president would 'absolutely' continue his fight on the politically and socially divisive issue."

Now, we learn that the President has succumbed to "political realities" and will no longer seek to ban gay marriage in the United States. That is not what Christians elected him to do! Genuine Christians battle fervently, even if the cause is not winnable, because we believe we are on the Lord's side and His power will turn minds and hearts if we battle for His Just cause. Once more, we see President Bush not acting as a genuinely Born Again Christian would act.

B. An offensive punk rock star performed at the Bush Inaugural festivities! Christians are said to be "flabbergasted"!

NEWS BRIEF: "Rap Kid Rock inaugural pick", N.Y. Daily News, January 7, 2005

"Conservative Christians are flabbergasted about reports that raunchy rock-rapper Kid Rock will perform at a youth concert at the presidential inauguration ... 'What in the world are these people thinking?' asked Donald Wildmon, chairman of the American Family Association in Tupelo, Miss. 'This is the biggest slap in the face to the Christian conservatives'."

Excuse, me, Mr. Wildmon, but President Bush has been slapping Christians in the face during his entire first term, taking actions totally inconsistent with Christian values! He further slapped Christians in the face as the campaign was under way, and just five days before the election, Bush advocated gay civil unions and said Islam was just another way to Heaven and that Christians and Muslims pray to the same God! I did not hear any screams from Mr. Wildmon when Concerned Women of America reported that Bush's policy on Gay - Lesbian issues was identical to Clinton's policies.

Further, I heard no protests from Mr. Wildmon when President and Laura Bush appeared on "Good Morning, America", to announce their support of civil unions and then to call Jesus a liar when they said Christians pray to the same God as Muslims!

Now, let us return to this N.Y. news article for more details on this raunchy rocker performing at the Bush Inaugural.

"The almost-34-year-old Detroit bad boy is currently dating porn actress Jessie James, never goes anywhere without a pint of bourbon in his back pocket and rattles off X-rated lyrics that regularly earn his albums parental advisory warnings. At the same time, he's a die-hard Republican and a big fan of Dubya. He put on a concert during last summer's Republican convention at the Manhattan nightclub Avalon - which the Bush twins attended." [Ibid.]

While we would not expect this kind of behavior from a genuinely Born Again President, we would expect this kind of action from an unrepentant Skull & Bonesman!

C. Another rock star performing at the Inaugural festivities uttered a filthy obscenity from the stage.

NEWS BRIEF: "Singer Curses at Inaugural Youth Concert", My Way News, January 18, 2005

"WASHINGTON (AP) - You might say the Janet Jackson moment of President Bush's inaugural festivities came Tuesday at a youth concert with hundreds of preteen Hilary Duff fans in the audience. No nudity was involved, but the Vince Neil-style profanity probably didn't win rock band Fuel any fans at the Federal Communications Commission, nor from the parents at the concert ... Borrowing a word from Motley Crue's Neil, the lead singer of Fuel proclaimed, "Welcome to the greatest ----ing country in the world." Brett Scallions followed with a quick apology of 'excuse my language'."

While we appreciate the quick apology, the fact is that this group must so regularly speak profanity while performing that they just let this profanity slip. In fact, the group "Fuel" is a hardrock band which no genuinely Born Again Christian would tolerate. Read the following websites to see what kind of rock band "Fuel" is:

Once again, we find the standards of behavior from the Bush Administration to be lacking in Christian values.

IV. Homeland Security Chief Tom Ridge reveals that torture is official policy of the Bush Administration. After receiving tremendous criticism for its out-of-control torture of prisoners not convicted of any offense, the Bush Administration seemed as though it was back pedaling last week. However, Tom Ridge rode to the rescue, informing the world that torture is, indeed, Bush Administration official policy!

NEWS BRIEF: "US 'should not rule out torture' ", BBC News, 15 January, 20

"The outgoing head of the US Department of Homeland Security has said torture may be used in certain cases in order to prevent a major loss of life."

This concept that torture is legitimate is being popularized in some hard-hitting TV series. The series, "24" has long depicted torture under this type of circumstance, and has always shown to have been successful. The TV terrorist always succumbs quickly to any type of torture and gives the interrogators the valid information which allows them to save the day -- at the last second, of course.

However, this is not reality. Experienced interrogators will tell you that no information obtained through torture is considered to be good information, since the victim will always tell a story he knows the interrogator will believe, just to stop the pain. Yet, this administration continues to use torture on prisoners who have not been proven guilty, in order to just intimidate their enemies. In point of fact, the opposite is occurring; as word spreads of this type of torture against legally innocent people, anger against America and her leadership just continues to build.

Bush officials were quick to disavow Ridge's remarks, but the door was shut after the "cattle were out of the barn".

V. Since the Illuminati has always ensured that every significant part of their global plan is carried out according to occult "sacred numbers", we find the occult numbers behind these news stories to be interesting. Therefore, President Bush nominated Judge Chertoff to be the next Homeland Security Director on Tuesday, January 11, 2005. This infatuation with the number "11" connected to the events of 9/11 continues to amaze me. Yet, since the Illuminist assigns the number "11" to Antichrist, in full accord with the prophecy in Daniel 7:7-8, we shall continue to see events which are planned to further the appearance of Antichrist occur according to the elevens and multiplications of elevens.

President Bush's second Inaugural on January 20, 2005, was the 55th Presidential Inaugural in our nation's history. Thus, the number '55' is considered to be "Double Death", while '555' is considered to be "Triple Death". VI. True to the global economic plan, the rich, developed nations of the world offered debt relief to the poor nations stricken by the tsunami. Did you know such economic tactics are being used to maneuver poor nations into the New World Order?

NEWS BRIEF: "Debt freeze for tsunami nations", BBC News, 13 January, 2005

"The Paris Club of rich creditor nations has offered to freeze debts owed to them by tsunami-hit countries. The offer is immediate and without conditions. But so far only Indonesia, Sri Lanka and the Seychelles have signaled that they will take it up. But other affected countries have indicated that they will not, to avoid being regarded as credit risks. Wednesday's announcement by the Paris Club follows an initiative from the G-7 group of developed nations ... Member countries are owed about $5bn this year in debt repayments by nations affected by the Indian Ocean tsunami ... Indonesia, one of the world's most indebted countries and the worst hit by the tsunami, has called for greater help."

Note that this offer was merely to "freeze" repayment for a period of time, not to totally write off the debt of these stricken nations. Not stated, but implied, is the probability that, even though a debtor nation could defer payment on their debt for a while, the interest on the loan would continue to accumulate, thus eventually driving the debtor nation even further into economic disaster.

How on earth do these poor nations agree with the rich to assume these types of loans? Most of us do not ever think that part of the pressure to drive "Non-Integrating Nations" into the New World Order fold comes daily from the pressure of economics. However, economic pressure sometimes is a more effective, and less troublesome, method by which to achieve internal change in a country than military and/or diplomatic pressure.

This new book, pictured above, deals with this issue squarely, and is a most interesting read. The author tells of his personal experience, how he was a highly paid professional who cheated countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. Their tools include fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder. Such men convince targeted countries to accept enormous loans for infrastructure development, ensuring that these contracts are issued to US corporations. Saddled with huge debts, these countries then come under the control of the US Government, World Bank and various aid agencies, who then turn into "loan sharks", dictating repayment terms and bullying foreign governments into submission.

When Antichrist appears on the world scene, he can thank the faceless and tireless work of many thousands of "Economic Hit Men" who expertly applied pressure to "Non-Integrating Nations" to force them to change so they can become part of the cashless global economy over which the False Prophet will rule, and will one day force every one to take a "mark", without which no man can buy or sell.

Yes, for the moment, it does seem that "everyone is united under the human race." Therefore, we should not be surprised to learn that we are hearing yet one more reason why placing a chip under the skin of people of the whole world is such a good idea. By the time Antichrist and his False Prophet are on the world scene, enough conditioning stories like this one will have convinced billions of people that taking a mark under the skin is really a very good idea.

Satan is working overtime to convince people to take his ultimate mark.

VIII. The Russian Bear flexing its muscles against US in the aftermath of losing face in the Ukraine. In light of our story, above, of President Bush's fervent desire to attack Iran, and possibly, Syria, these stories may be highly significant.

NEWS BRIEF: "Through Arms to Syria, Putin Challenges US Middle East Game Rules", DEBKAfile Exclusive Military Report, 12 January 2005

"Disturbing reports were coming out of the Russian capital Wednesday, January 12, about Russian president Vladimir Putin’s plan to accede to Syria’s request for advanced weaponry ... The items for sale, they revealed, are advanced SA-10 air defense systems of the type that protects Moscow and shoulder-held SA-18 anti-air missiles, whose transfer to the Hizbullah and/or Iraqi guerrillas would move at least two sets of goal posts in the Middle East balance of strength.

"The SA-10 is an effective defense against Israeli warplanes and missiles, including cruise missiles. Its presence in Syria would therefore knock a serious hole in Israel’s deterrent ability against Assad and the Hizbullah. The Kremlin’s willingness to sell these items to Israel’s northern neighbor and backer of Iraqi insurgents is a rocket from the Putin to the White House in Washington, a declaration that he has had enough of sitting on the sidelines and watching US move the January 30 election pieces around the Iraq board and tilt the Palestinian ballot in favor of Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) as Yasser Arafat’s successor."

It is possible that Russia's Putin has, indeed, made a move designed to change the balance of power in Iraq, Syria, and possibly even Iran. If the Russians allow significant numbers of this sophisticated anti-aircraft missile to be set in place around targets in Syria and Iran, American pilots might have a lot to worry about as they fly to attempt to destroy those targets.

The article below, in The Jerusalem Post, reveals that the plans to send these missiles to Syria began two years ago. In US Army Intelligence, I learned the reality that, when the Mass Media reveals that some new military big development is about to occur, the fact is that the development has already occurred and is in place by the time the media breaks the story.

Two years ago would place us at January, 2003, just three months before Russia's President Putin warned the US not to attempt any more regime changes. Did Putin begin to put teeth into his warning to President Bush not to attack any other nation in the Middle East?

If this scenario is true , then these missiles have already been delivered to Syria and are operational. However, as badly as Syria might need these sophisticated anti-air missiles, Iran has an even greater need. She is under the propaganda gun of the Bush Administration. In fact, both Syria and Iran have been repeatedly threatened in the public arena since Summer, 2003, shortly after we took Iraq.

Can it be that the reason these previous threats have never materialized is because the Pentagon knows that these Russian anti-aircraft missiles are in place, and are effective? Have we been stalling for time, trying to figure out a way in which to neutralize these missiles? If our Pentagon has figured out how to neutralize these missiles, then perhaps that is why we are suddenly hearing a ratcheting upward of these threats.

Predictably, Israel is very concerned.

The missiles can destroy targets up to 280 kilometers (175 miles) away and would put all of Israel's territory - including the Dimona nuclear center in the Negev desert - in jeopardy ... Syria had reportedly turned to Moscow two years ago with a request to purchase 18 Iskander-E complexes ... Israeli military officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, have expressed concern that the missiles would get into the hands of Hizbullah and disrupt the military balance in the Middle East.

"... the missile is based on advanced Russian technology which would render the missile impervious to Israeli countermeasures, such as the Arrow anti-missile system."

Can you imagine the horror in Iraq if insurgents were supplied with the shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles? Our air supremacy would disappear and, with too few troops on the ground, Iraq could turn very bloody very fast. Our helicopters would be shot down, as would fixed wing aircraft of all types. This one weapon, if deployed effectively by the insurgents, could turn this war into a bona fide disaster very quickly.

IX. Our privacy is now virtually gone as these two stories readily prove.

Alternatively, if the voice shows signs of stress, it can take steps to calm the driver down, by over-riding the car’s air-conditioning or playing soothing music ... technology will work with any voice recognition software. In the future, more cars will have voice-activated controls. This technology will sample the voice to tell if a person is angry or frustrated and will then act 'accordingly'. "

What these words, "appropriate action" and "act accordingly" truly mean is that the computer software will suddenly seize control of the car from the driver and call for police backup! Technology already exists in many new car models which will allow authorities to "kill" your motor from a distance, without your knowledge or approval.

This same article quotes another source to demonstrate just how completely "Big Brother" will be involved in your future driving.
