---------- Inspiration For the Week----------- "For me to live is Christ." [Philippians 1:21]

The believer did not always live to Christ. He began to do so when God the Holy Spirit convinced him of sin, and when by grace he was brought to see the dying Saviour making a propitiation for his guilt. From the moment of the new and celestial birth the man begins to live to Christ. Jesus is to believers the one pearl of great price, for whom we are willing to part with all that we have. He has so completely won our love, that it beats alone for Him; to His glory we would live, and in defence of His gospel we would die; He is the pattern of our life, and the model after which we would sculpture our character. Paul's words mean more than most men think; they imply that the aim and end of his life was Christ--nay, his life itself was Jesus. In the words of an ancient saint, he did eat, and drink, and sleep eternal life. Jesus was his very breath, the soul of his soul, the heart of his heart, the life of his life. Can you say, as a professing Christian, that you live up to this idea? Can you honestly say that for you to live is Christ? Your business--are you doing it for Christ? Is it not done for self- aggrandizement and for family advantage? Do you ask, "Is that a mean reason?" For the Christian it is. He professes to live for Christ; how can he live for another object without committing a spiritual adultery? Many there are who carry out this principle in some measure; but who is there that dare say that he hath lived wholly for Christ as the apostle did? Yet, this alone is the true life of a Christian--its source, its sustenance, its fashion, its end, all gathered up in one word--Christ Jesus. Lord, accept me; I here present myself, praying to live only in Thee and to Thee.

I. President Bush and Attorney General Ashcroft are currently having government lawyers argue before Federal Court that the government can torture prisoners and even summarily execute them without any Judicial oversight!

"In concluding last month that prisoners held on the Guantanamo naval base in Cuba have the right to challenge their detention in federal court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit focused on the question of Guantanamo's legal status ... According to the government's stated position in the case, the detainees have absolutely no legal right to question U.S. actions on Guantanamo. Federal court jurisdiction should be foreclosed, government counsel insisted during oral argument before the Ninth Circuit, even if the plaintiffs were to claim that their captors were committing 'acts of torture' on Guantanamo or were 'summarily executing the detainees'."

We have published an article on this terrible subject, above [NEWS1885], but wish to make several poignant observations independent from this article.

* Christians who truly believe President Bush is Born Again must anguish in their hearts over this development! Every Biblically-literate Christian knows that God is as much concerned with methods as He is with results; therefore, no Christian can use evil methods to achieve holy results. This belief is the essence of Communism, as they state: "The Ends Justify The Means". No Christian, indwelt by the Holy Spirit and guiding his life by Scripture, can lead a nation in this manner!

For this reason, we have to add this awful development to President Bush's table depicting "Bad Fruits vs Good Fruits".

* As we demonstrated in NEWS1885, the real target in this campaign is the Born Again Christian, true Patriot, and gun owner -- not the nasty Muslim terrorists. Once the precedent is set that the Bush Administration can torture and execute prisoners they have labeled "Enemy Combatant" or "Domestic Terrorist", they will be free to slap that label on any dissident they choose; without Judiciary oversight, who is going to challenge the government when they begin to slap such labels on dissidents?

* This development shows the lateness of the hour. The Illuminati plan is to use terrorism as the "global threat" by which the world will be drawn into a one-world government, economy and religion so their "Christ" may appear. As Illuminist leaders throughout the world "battle" terrorism, each one will tell their people that they must "temporarily" dissolve the current elected government and "temporarily" establish a dictatorship to re-establish order and vanquish the enemy. The dictatorship they plan to establish will be the most severe in world history, so severe people will scarcely be able to believe it or stand it. Thus, this terrible development speaks loudly and clearly to the coming dictatorship, just as the Illuminati has planned.

* Never in my life did I ever believe I would be hearing an American President claiming he had the right to torture and execute prisoners without trial! Then, to compound the egregious error, this President is telling the Federal Court system to "get lost"! He is claiming they have no jurisdiction! Can you imagine the furor from Conservatives if President Clinton and Janet Reno were making this claim? All hell would have broken loose, as well it should; however, since this dictatorial claim is being made by a "Christian Conservative", no other Conservative is raising their voice.

* The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is the Federal Court to whom the government is speaking, and they are very troubled by this historically unprecedented argument of American government leaders, according to the article we quoted in NEWS1885. Therefore, we should expect that the Ninth Circuit Court will rebuff the government argument. At this moment, too many people will heave a sigh of relief, believing our rights have just been protected. However, the government will immediately appeal to the Supreme Court, the same court that just legalized Sodomy based upon reasons other than the US Constitution! This Supreme Court is the epitome of the Illuminist Supreme Court, depicted above, with the All-Seeing Eye within the triangle hovering above the Justices.

With this thought in mind about the Supreme Court, let us go now to another development.

II. The Supreme Court decided to hear a legal challenge as to whether an American citizen seized abroad can be labeled as an "Enemy Combatant" who can be held in US jails, completely stripped of all privileges, rights, and liberties normally reserved for American citizens. Let us review the story:

NEWS BRIEF: "Supreme Court to Decide Enemy Combatant's Detention", myway news, January 9, 2004.

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Supreme Court said on Friday it would decide whether a U.S. citizen seized abroad and branded an "enemy combatant" can be kept in a military jail in this country, a test case for President Bush's war on terror ... Human rights groups have denounced the Bush administration for detaining without charge hundreds of prisoners in the war on terror and denying them access to lawyers. Hamdi's appeal is the second case the high court will review stemming from legal challenges to the war on terror."

When the FBI swept up over 1,000 suspects immediately after the 9/11 attacks and denied them basic rights and privileges, few people worried that we were treating them that way because they were not American citizens, but those terrible Muslim fanatics. Few people paid any attention to those who were shouting that, if we allowed the government to treat these foreigners this way, the time would soon arrive when American citizens were also denied Constitutional rights and liberties. Even when Cutting Edge reported that Homeland Security had redefined "terrorist" so that the definition might apply to Americans [NEWS1553], few paid any attention. Then, when we reported that Attorney General Ashcroft had adopted the Clinton-era definition of "Domestic Terrorist" [NEWS1579], so that normal, law-abiding citizens -- including Fundamental Christians -- could be declared as a terrorist, few people noticed. Finally, when we reported that the government was planning to use the Civil War Seditious Act upon any dissidents who dared speak out [NEWS1575], Americans slept on.

But, now the noose is tightening upon American citizens. If the Supreme Court rules that American citizens captured abroad may be imprisoned with no rights to a lawyer, to a public trial by one's peers, or to appeal to a higher court, our Constitution is in shreds. Believe me, the real target are Fundamentalist Christians, true Patriots who demand government by Constitution, and gun owners -- not those nasty Muslim militants.

In our Newsletter122003, we reported an unusual development: two Federal Appeals Courts -- including this Ninth Circuit Court -- had ruled that the government could not detain an American citizen arrested on U.S. soil as an enemy combatant. We noted that, while this ruling is welcome, the government would appeal to the Supreme Court, where they were likely to win.

Thus, the Supreme Court has two related cases on which to rule concerning this issue of the degree of protection American citizens have when arrested for "terrorism". In the case quoted above, the issue is whether American citizens arrested abroad can be denied Constitutional privileges, while the other case as reported in Newsletter122003 concerns American citizens arrested on American soil. If the Supreme Court rules that the government can unilaterally declare American citizens to be either "Domestic Terrorists" or "Enemy Combatants", our worst fears are realized, and the planned dictatorship is close at hand.

Remember, Adolf Hitler passed laws and redefined terms from 1933-1939 without enforcing them; however, once he started World War II, he began to enforce his draconian laws because the average German citizen was too distracted by news from the front to notice the people disappearing. Likewise, so many Executive Orders, laws, redefinition of terms, and court decisions have been set in place without immediate enforcement; once the planned panics begin to hit -- Urban terrorism, natural disasters, and foreign wars -- then the government will begin to enforce all these changes. Do not be deceived by the lack of enforcement right here and now.

III. Left-Wing Democrats generally and Presidential Candidate Howard Dean specifically have declared their belief in Jesus Christ and have decided our Lord was a Liberal Democrat! Believe it or not, 'tis true! Polls have shown that President Bush could not have been elected in 2000 had he not received such strong support from Evangelical Christian voters. Throughout his presidency, Bush has fervently sought continued support from Evangelicals.

Evidently, the Democrats have had enough of this one-sided display of Christian piety, so they have co-opted the issue. Now, both Democrat and Republican candidates are using Jesus Christ as a means by which to gain votes. Let us begin with the testimony of Howard Dean.

NEWS BRIEF: "Seeking a new emphasis, Dean touts his Christianity: Southern campaign plans to increase religious references", By Sarah Schweitzer, Boston Globe Staff, 12/25/2003

"MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Presidential contender Howard B. Dean, who has said little about religion while campaigning except to emphasize the separation of church and state, described himself in an interview with the Globe as a committed believer in Jesus Christ and said he expects to increasingly include references to Jesus and God in his speeches as he stumps in the South. Dean, 55, who practices Congregationalism but does not often attend church and whose wife and children are Jewish, explained the move as a desire to share his beliefs with audiences willing to listen."

Such news must have been shocking to Dean's Vermont and New Hampshire supporters, who have seen a politician over the years who has not followed Christian values in the administration of his office in that state. We shall view some of these facts, below. However, we need to state the obvious: this sudden "confession" of faith has to be treated with at least as much skepticism as we have treated President Bush's confessions of faith; in other words, we need to examine Dean's fruits to see if he is likely genuine in his abrupt confession or whether he is likely a hypocrite who is cynically using a profession of faith in Jesus simply in order to garner votes.

Before we move on to other news stories, let us examine this current one some more as we see Dean describing Jesus in much the same way as one would describe a Liberal, Left-Wing Democrat.

" 'Christ was someone who sought out people who were disenfranchised, people who were left behind,' Dean said. 'He fought against self-righteousness of people who had everything . . . He was a person who set an extraordinary example that has lasted 2000 years ...'

"Political analysts note that discussing religious beliefs could provide an important link to Southern voters ... The South is a potential problem area for Dean's campaign for the Democratic nomination, particularly as rivals like retired Army general Wesley K. Clark of Arkansas and Senator John Edwards of North Carolina invoke their Southern roots. In recent years, the South has been tough ground for any Democrat in the general election."

"Hess added that Dean's public showing of faith could help distance him from the issue of gay marriage, expected to be a contentious subject in the 2004 political season. Dean, who backed the creation of civil unions for gays and lesbians in Vermont, has said gay marriage should be left to the realm of churches." [Ibid.]

Whenever you hear a politician saying that a contentious issue should be left to the "individual states" or the "realm of the churches", you know you are looking at a politician who is parsing his words carefully in order to deceive. Thus, President Bush was attempting to walk a fine line when he stated that he supported the "various relationships" who were being considered by individual states, in whose hands the issue should remain! Bush knew fully well that numerous individual states were going to open the door to gay marriage, so by taking this step, Bush is trying to appear to Christians he is on their side, while really taking the opposite stance in reality.

Later in this article, Dean admitted he and wife considered becoming Unitarian! "We considered becoming Unitarian as sort of a compromise that wasn't going to respect either person's tradition', Dean said."

You can begin to see the practical electoral advantages of Howard Dean suddenly professing that he is a "committed believer in Jesus Christ".

Let us now examine some news stories that might give us insight into the true Howard Dean.

NEWS BRIEF: "Howard Dean's Gay Army", by 365Gay.com Newscenter Staff, January 2, 2004.

"(Washington, D.C.) All of the contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination support gay issues but former Vermont governor Howard Dean was the first to recognize the full clout of the gay vote and the economic power of the community. And, by seizing the moment he catapulted himself into the lead. Dean first began to realize the strength of the largely untapped gay vote when the Vermont Supreme Court ordered the state to recognize same-sex relationships. Shepherding the Civil Union legislation through the legislature he began to sense a groundswell of LGBT support throughout the nation. He capitalized on that by speaking to gay rights groups across the county. When he announced his candidacy for the presidency, he immediately tapped into the gay community. It was no accident that the Dean campaign's first presidential fundraiser, on June 22, 2002, was on New York's Fire Island. With just one exception, every fundraiser Dean attended outside Vermont in 2002 was organized by the LGBT community, as were more than half the events in the first quarter of 2003."

This story clearly demonstrates the efforts Dean is making to gain the favor and the votes of the gay community. Notice that he "shepherded" the gay Civil Union legislation through the Vermont legislature; such wording shows that Dean vigorously supported the legislation. No "committed believer" in Jesus Christ would vigorously push through such legislation.

Now, notice how strongly the gays rewarded Dean for his efforts; they even called his efforts on their behalf a sign of his "strength of character"!

"The gay community "was the first to recognize Dean's strength of character after his leadership on Vermont's civil union legislation, and because of that, they were the first to open up their homes for events and ask their friends and colleagues to give money to this endeavor. And give money they did. Although there is no exact tally on exactly how much gays have given to the campaign, Dean has built the largest war chest of all the candidates. By the end of 2003 he had raised over $40 million."

A phrase in the last sentence of this article says it all regarding the true nature of Howard Dean:

"... Dean is mustering a pink army across the nation ..." [Ibid.]

NEWS BRIEF: "Dean says his religious views led to support for same-sex unions", By Tom Strode, Jan 8, 2004

"WASHINGTON (BP)--Democratic presidential front-runner Howard Dean says his religious views led him to endorse homosexual unions as Vermont's governor. 'The overwhelming evidence is that there is [a] very significant, substantial genetic component to [homosexuality]', Dean said Jan. 7, The Washington Post reported. 'From a religious point of view, if God had thought homosexuality is a sin, he would not have created gay people'. Dean's comments came a day after he told reporters, according to The Post, 'My view of Christianity ... is that the hallmark of being a Christian is to reach out to people who have been left behind. So I think there was a religious aspect to my decision to support civil unions'."

Someone ought to inform Dean that Fundamental Christianity recognizes that the Bible is very clear on the issue of homosexuality and on the condemnation of it. Howard Dean is at least following in the footsteps of President Bush. By mid-2002, Bush's record on gay-lesbian issues was becoming clear. We have issued the following pertinent articles:

We know that Gays and Lesbians are telling the lie that homosexuality is not forbidden in the Bible because Jesus never specifically taught against it. While we have explained this issue in several of our articles, we wish to only warn as the Apostle Paul warned about sinners accepting the false rationale for excusing sin.

Now, let us briefly examine how the Democrats are trying to co-opt the issue of Christianity for the party as a whole.

NEWS BRIEF: "Democrats move to claim Jesus as their own", ekklesia, 1/5/2004

"In an apparent shift in strategy on the stump, Democratic presidential candidates are attempting to enlist God on their side to counter President George W Bush's overwhelming popularity among religious voters reports the Daily Telegraph. Despite previously sticking to his pledge to keep 'God and guns' out of politics, Howard Dean, the Democratic front-runner, all but recruited Jesus Christ as a Democrat in an interview over the Christmas period. Gen Wesley Clark has also begun speaking in church halls throughout the South and has hired a Roman Catholic sociologist. According to the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press, people who attend church more than once a week vote Republican by 63 percent to 37 percent; people who seldom or never attend vote Democratic by 62 percent to 38 percent ... In the South, where church attendance is highest, Democratic strategists are advising that a secular candidate would be all but unelectable."

Thus, we can see the rank hypocrisy behind the sudden movement of the Democrat Party to Jesus Christ! Are you going to be deceived?

V. Roman Catholicism took another strong step last week in its ongoing efforts to unite all religions under her umbrella so the global church that will serve Antichrist and the False Prophet can come together.

NEWS BRIEF: "Catholic Fatima Shrine Has Developed Into Centre Where All Religions of World Can Pay Homage To Their Various Gods!", The Portugal News 11/1/03

"Delegates attending the Vatican and United Nations (UN) inspired annual interfaith congress, "The Future of God," held during October in Fatima, heard how the Shrine is to be developed into a centre where all the religions of the world will gather to pay homage to their various gods. Addressing Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Orthodox, Buddhist and African Pagan representatives, the Shrine’s rector, Roman Catholic Monsignor Luciano Guerra, stated: 'The future of Fatima, or the adoration of God and His mother at this holy Shrine, must pass through the creation of a shrine where different religions can mingle....'

"The Hindu representative, Ansshok Ansraj, described how already in the Far East millions of Hindus are getting "positive vibrations" from visiting Marian shrines without endangering their faith. Monsignor Guerra pointed out that the very fact that Fatima is the name of a Muslim and Mohammed’s daughter is indicative that the Shrine must be open to the co-existence of various faiths and beliefs ... the Jesuit theologian Father Jacques Dupuis, was insistent that the religions of the world must unite. "The religion of the future will be a general converging of religions in a universal Christ that will satisfy all ..."

Thus, you can see how the various religions of the world are uniting into one body, with the Virgin Mary being the glue that holds them together. Let us allow this Jesuit theologian to have the final quote:

"The other religious traditions in the world are part of God’s plan for humanity, and the Holy Spirit is operating and present in Buddhist, Hindu, and other sacred writings of Christian and non-Christian faiths as well.' In an impassioned plea he said: 'The universality of God’s kingdom permits this, and this is nothing more than a diversified form of sharing in the same mystery of salvation. In the end, it is hoped that the Christian will become a better Christian and each Hindu a better Hindu'."

One of the most shocking realizations I had occurred in 1992, as I was studying the occult and the Illuminati plan to organize the world into a global government, economy and religion so Antichrist could arise to take control. I was surprised to realize that, the more I learned about Witchcraft, the more I understood Roman Catholicism [Covered in our video, "Catholicism: White Sepulcher Christianity"]

The one factor that surprised me greatly was the realization that priests go all the way through seminary without studying the Bible! They just study books written by Roman Catholic authors dealing with various aspects of the Catholic religion. Had priests studied the Bible, they would have heard Jesus loudly proclaim:

Catholicism and every other false religion on earth are attempting to "enter in" by another door, another way. They are preaching another Gospel. Listen:

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." [Gal 1:8-9]

Toward the end of this article, we see the politicizing of dissent within the new global religion along the same lines we are being threatened politically.

V. As the Bush Administration quietly pulled its WMD expert staff out of Iraq, people began to realize this action is a quiet, tacit admission that America will never find Weapons of Mass Destruction. In fact, some interesting related stories came out during the week that emphasized this issue quite strongly. If you were ever confused as to whether President Bush and Secretary of State Colin Powell boldly lied to us about why we had to invade Iraq, this week's news should clear your mind permanently. NEWS BRIEF: "U.S. cuts back crew searching for Iraq weapons: Hint that Bush team may no longer hope to find banned arms", by Douglas Jehl, New York Times, reprinted in S.F. Gate, January 8, 2004.

"Washington -- The Bush administration has quietly withdrawn from Iraq a 400-member military team whose job was to scour the country for military equipment ... The step was described by some military officials as a sign that the administration might have lowered its sights and no longer expected to uncover the caches of chemical and biological weapons that the White House cited as a principal reason for going to war last March."

Indeed, we were told by Bush and Powell that we possessed "smoking gun" evidence that Saddam had an arsenal of Weapons of Mass Destruction -- Nuclear, Chemical, Biological. Further, British Prime Minster Blair warned that Saddam could launch them on missiles within 45 minutes. If you examine our Daily News Updates for February and March, 2003, you will discover that we repeatedly warned that international inspection teams were strongly and unanimously warning that Iraq possessed no WMD! Bush, Blair, and Powell boldly lied to the world in justifying this attack.

Now that we have had control over all of Iraq since April, and have found absolutely no WMD, we are turning to the minor issue we raised before we invaded Iraq, i.e., that Saddam had killed several hundreds of thousands of his own people. While that is true, American foreign policy has never been carried out simply on this basis. Idi Amin killed 400,000 of his own people in Africa, but we did not invade Uganda. Josef Stalin reportedly killed over 20 million people, but we did not invade Russia. Mao Tse Tung reportedly killed almost 30 million Chinese, but we did not invade China. The list could go on and on, but you get the point. In fact, during the Reagan-Bush years, human rights critics severely castigated our support for dictators throughout the world who were killing and torturing their own people. In not one instance did America invade.

The fact is very plain: the Illuminati decided that America would invade Iraq in 1954, according to former Satanist, Bill Schnoebelen, whose books we carry in our bookstore. Even Steve Jackson who created the Illuminati Card Game knew that the invasion of Iraq was part of the plan to produce Antichrist. Not only did he show a Saddam Hussein card in 1995, four years after Gulf War I, but he showed that one of the acts the Illuminati had planned was to smash the statue as a symbol of smashing the state. Do you remember how we toppled Saddam's statue?

"BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- The toppling of a giant bronze statue in Baghdad -- despite battles raging elsewhere and some anarchy on the streets -- is being greeted as the symbolic crumbling of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's regime."

The Illuminist "Think Tank", the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, even blasted President Bush for his lying!

NEWS BRIEF: "Carnegie: Bush admin exaggerated Iraq WMD threat", Middle East Online, 2004-1-8

"WASHINGTON - An influential Washington think tank said Thursday that President George W. Bush's administration "systematically" misrepresented and exaggerated the threats presented by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction (WMD). The critical report by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace said the United States also misrepresented the findings of UN weapons inspectors in a bid to justify its case for war against Iraq."

When Carnegie used the word "systematically misrepresented" the WMD threats posed by Iraq, they are really saying that the Bush Administration carefully and thoughtfully put together a plan whereby they could deceive! Christians the world over must recognize this lying campaign as another spiritual "Bad Fruit".

Now, let us listen to the fact which tells us that the US lied when it said it possessed "smoking gun" evidence linking Saddam and his hypothetical WMD to al Qaeda terrorist network. Let us go back to the Carnegie report, quoted above.

"(US) Officials had also misrepresented UN 'inspectors findings in ways that turned threats from minor to dire,' it said. The 100-page report took six months to compile and examined claims made by the White House in the run up to the March 20 invasion that ousted former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. It also said there was "no solid evidence" to back administration claims of a close relationship between Saddam and Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda network."

Secretary of State Colin Powell warned that Saddam had turned some of his WMD warheads over to al Qaeda so they could be used in terror attacks against our cities. Last week, the Taipei Times carried an article in which Powell admitted he had no such evidence [See Daily News Updates, January 10, 2004, entitled, "We had no Saddam, al-Qaeda link: Powell"].

VI. Evidence grows that Iraq is turning into another Vietnam. While many "experts" rushed to declare this could not be the case, and even presented numerous difference between Vietnam and Iraq, the similarities are getting so strong that Vietnam Vets are starting to understand the predicament we are now facing.

"It’s time to be blatant: the U.S. military is getting desperate in Iraq ... the military is radically changing its tactics within Iraq ... The changes subtly betray the administration’s worst fears – that Iraq is becoming another Vietnam. While there are some elementary differences, the Vietnam veteran quickly says, 'Same-same' ... The Vietnam veteran quickly gets nauseated at the restrictive rules of engagement (“Do not fire unless fired upon.”) We’ve heard this before – the return of a formula for defeat."

While the differences between Iraq and Vietnam are significant, the similarities seemingly grow every single day. In Vietnam, we trained a very large South Vietnamese Army and police force, just as we are doing in Iraq; everyone knew we were raising these forces just to cover our retreat. Sure enough, within months of our final departure, the North Vietnamese mounted an offensive that easily routed the South Vietnamese.

In Vietnam, we raised up an unpopular government comprised of local officials who would cooperate with America, just as we are doing in Iraq. Assassinations of local officials was a continuous problem, just as in Iraq.

The Iraqi people hate us immensely more than the Vietnamese people, even though that may not seem possible; you see, the hatred in Iraq is fueled white hot by Muslim militarism , an element not so prevalent in Vietnam.

Last Fall, we ran several articles in the Daily News Updates where Vietnam Vets were beginning to say that the parallels between the Vietnam War and this Iraqi war were strong and getting stronger all the time. It looks like they were right!

VII. The news from Israel was as confusing last week as you can possibly imagine. "Peace" offers flew back and forth, as did diplomatic initiatives as did threats of continued suicide bombings. Let us consider a few of these confusing stories.

NEWS BRIEF: "Abu Ala: If Sharon seeks to disengage, we'll move for bi-national state", by Ellis Shuman, January 9, 2004, Israel Insider

"Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei (Abu Ala) said yesterday that if Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon carries through with his "threat" to disengage from the Palestinians, he would move for a single Jewish-Arab state. U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell rejected Abu Ala's suggestion, saying the U.S. was committed to a two-state solution. 'We will go for a one-state solution... there's no other solution', Abu Ala told Reuters on Thursday. Abu Ala said the bi-national state idea was his own idea, not official policy, though he said Palestinians had suggested it as early as 1969."

The Palestinians would love a single state in which democracy was the method of electing officials, for their birth rate is much higher than Israel's birthrate. It would not take too long before Palestinian officials would control the entire state. Therefore, Israel cannot possibly allow such a development. Since Sharon had seized the diplomatic initiative last week by his threat to unilaterally withdraw unless the Palestinians carried through their obligations under the Road Map, this initiative is their answer. With the United Nations on their side, this proposal might make matters a little difficult for Israel, but her main ally, the United States, quickly shot this initiative down, as well we should have.

NEWS BRIEF: "Government to move fast to uproot 400 Jews", By Jerusalem Newswire Editorial Staff, January 8, 2004

"Jerusalem (jnewwire.com) - Israeli Prime Minister and veteran settlement pioneer Ariel Sharon has agreed to accelerate the uprooting of Jewish communities from the biblical heartland of the Jewish state. Up to 400 Jews will reportedly be expelled from their homes, which exist among the at least 28 outposts that have been slated for dismantling and destruction by order of the Likud-led government. The Bush administration is believed to be behind the divisive moves, which look set to pit Jew against Jew in an all out effort to satisfy the world's demand that a Palestinian state be established on ancient Jewish lands."

To both the Jew and the Fundamental Christian, the idea of giving up some of the land promised promised Abraham is reprehensible, especially when we realize that the hatred of the Palestinians is so great that they would never live peacefully side-by-side with the Jew. Further, prophecy is quite plain, especially in Joel 3; once Israel comes back to her land (Verse 1), continuous war will be the order of the day, until the time of the end. There simply is no peace foretold in the Middle East once Israel has returned as a nation. Knowing this prophetic fact, Christians should oppose any division of the land. But, the question of the hour is how a supposedly Born Again President Bush could be pushing Israel into such an unbibilical scenario, especially since the scenario completely lacks common sense.

But then, this article delivers a shocking possibility.

"Meanwhile, reports in Israel suggest Sharon could be removed from office in the coming months, either due to legal investigations against him, or as a result of having strayed too far from the Likud Party platform, which still opposes the creation of a Palestinian state."

Is it possible Ariel Sharon could be removed from office, when he has carried out the Illuminist plan so perfectly? Anything is possible, especially if the war crimes charges are still pending and are still going forward in the International Court. We shall clearly have to wait to see how this possibility might play out.

Meanwhile, Palestinian terrorist group, Hamas, made an offer designed to move the creation of the Palestinian State forward.

NEWS BRIEF: "Hamas plays down Yassin peace offer", The Jerusalem Post, January 9, 2004

"Hamas officials on Thursday played down the significance of statements attributed to their spiritual leader, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, that his movement was prepared to accept a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip only. In an interview with a German news agency, Yassin said: 'Hamas is prepared to accept a temporary peace [with Israel] if a Palestinian state is established in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The rest of the territories [Israel proper] will be left to history'.Yassin's remarks have been interpreted by some Israelis as a 'turning point' in Hamas's policy of establishing an Islamic state from the Mediterranean and the Jordan River."

Weeks ago, the United States told the Palestinians that, if they just would agree to a ceasefire, they would be guaranteed a Palestinian State. One can only assume that a "temporary" ceasefire, a phony ceasefire, would suffice. If only the Palestinians would agree to a ceasefire, the US was prepared to push Israel into signing an agreement resembling the Road Map that would give the Palestinians their state. While this sounds interesting, the Palestinians are really not interested in a state if it means giving legitimacy to Israel. Their real goal is to give all Jews the "peace of the grave".

With this idea in mind, the next story makes more sense.

NEWS BRIEF: "Arafat's Fatah 'ready with 5,000 bombers'," By Jerusalem Newswire Editorial Staff, January 6, 2004

"Jerusalem (jnewwire.com) - A senior leader of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said in an interview Tuesday that his terror group has more than 5,000 "suicide" bombers waiting in the wings to strike Israel. The group is a "military" wing of Yasser Arafat's Fatah organization, which has the ruling majority in the Palestinian Legislative Council. That connection leads many Israelis to view the Brigades as a sanctioned Palestinian Authority terror group. The Al Aqsa Brigades appears on the US State Department's list of known terrorist organizations."

Now, do you understand how it is that real peace is impossible with the Palestinians. In every case since Arafat began the Intifada on September 29, 2000, he has responded with terror to every single serious proposal Israel has made to him. Why should this time be any different?

Now, let us review the real reason peace is simply impossible.

NEWS BRIEF: "Pedagogy of hate", The Jerusalem Post, January 4, 2004.

If you want to know what's really at the heart of the Palestinian conflict with Israel, don't ask politicians or diplomats. Go to Palestinian children. Unlike the rest of the world, they've been paying close attention to what their leaders and educators have been teaching. And they are ready to practice what they've been taught. For instance, children interviewed on PA TV last week state without reservation that Israel has no right to exist, and that the goal for which they're willing to sacrifice their lives is Israel's destruction."

"The children are seen promising they will keep fighting, generation after generation, until they liberate Palestine. Furthermore, they say they don't fear death in the struggle because it is shahada – death for Allah. "Even if all the Palestinian children, Palestinian youth, Palestinian women, and Palestinian men die, we will not surrender!"

Arafat's propaganda campaign which begins in preschool in Palestinian public school system, has accomplished exactly what he desired. Long after Arafat is gone, Palestinian children will grow up to be adults committed to the destruction of the Jewish state and all its citizens.

VIII. The REAL reason North Korea offered to allow a private team of American experts to tour its nuclear processing facility became clearer this week.

"North Korea plans to allow a US group to visit a nuclear complex to prove it is not bluffing about its progress toward making more atomic weapons, a pro-Pyongyang newspaper and source in Japan said yesterday. The Jan. 6 to Jan.10 visit by a group that includes a nuclear scientist, congressional aides and a former diplomat comes as the US and its allies try to reopen talks with North Korea to end its nuclear programs."

The reason our Mass Media originally presented for North Korea to open its nuclear facility to American experts was that North Korea really wanted to solve the nuclear crisis by showing that they really were not trying to develop nuclear weapons at this facility. Now, we hear that the real reason North Korea agreed to the visit was to accomplish the exact opposite: to demonstrate to America how serious they were about making nuclear weapons!

We have demonstrated last year that North Korea already has nuclear weapons, using a monazite extraction process inherited from the Soviets. Finally, just remember the role North Korea is to play in the upcoming World War III.
