Thirty French police injured as rioters switched for the first time from arson to gunfire on 11th night of disorders sweeping France. They are now running riot inside the towns, not just immigrant suburbs

Some 200 youths were lobbing stones at police in Grigny south of Paris when some fired shotguns. Two officers were treated in hospital with lead shot wounds. Sunday night 1,408 cars were incinerated. Japan, UK, Russia and Australia have joined the US in warning citizens to avoid riot centers
