In NEWS1822 , we studied that false religions throughout the world teach that God is only love and his love is unconditional. Then, we began to study God's true Attributes -- His Nature -- as revealed by Holy Scripture. We shall study God's Love, Justice, and Truth. We shall also study the false teaching of Tim LaHaye in his books, "Nicolae" and "The Mark" and shall see how the false doctrines being taught might lead many people astray in the Tribulation Period, to their eternal hurt.

Now, let us study the truth of the One True God, the God of the Holy Bible.

ATTRIBUTES -- PERFECTIONS -- OF GOD

5. God is Love

* "God is love." [1 John 4:8b] This is the verse Liberals lift right out of context to try to convince people God is ALL Love. Listen to the very next verse, for it confirms what we said, above, that God's greatest love was to send His Son to die for the sins of all mankind, for all who will receive His free gift of Salvation.

* "In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." [1 John 4:9-10]

* "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." [John 3:16]

The word, "world" here is "kosmos", (Strong's Number, 2865) "the general inhabited earth and its inhabitants". But, did you realize some Bible scholars believe that God's love may only be for the collective mankind and is shown as perfected through Jesus Christ unto the whole world ("kosmos"), as John 4:9-10 states. Did you know there is a strong belief amongst Bible scholars that God does not necessarily love every individual (consider Esau, Romans 9:13; Malachi 1:2-3)? Does God certainly love every individual unconditionally so He will wink at sin and lose the fear of His judgment?

Listen to another Bible scholar enunciate this belief: ""....The principle subject of John 3:16 is Christ as the Gift of God. The first clause tells us what moved God to 'give' His only begotten Son, and that was His great 'love'; the second clause informs us for whom God 'gave' His Son, and that is for, 'whosoever (or, better, 'every one') believeth'; while the last clause makes known why God 'gave' His Son (His purpose), and that is, that everyone that believeth 'should not perish but have everlasting life'." [Emphasis added]

A. W. Pink continues:

"That 'the world' in John 3:16 refers to the world of believers (God's elect), in contradistinction from 'the world of the ungodly' (2 Peter 2:5), is established, unequivocally established, by a comparison of the other passages which speak of God's 'love'.'God commendeth His love toward US'--the saints, Rom.5:8. 'Whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth' --every son, Heb.12:6. 'We love Him, because He first loved US' --believers, 1 John 4:19. The wicked person God 'pities' (see Matt.18:33). Unto the unthankful and evil God is 'kind' (see Luke 6:35). The vessels of wrath He endures 'with much long-suffering' (see Rom. 9:22). But 'His own' God 'loves!! [end of quote--italics for emphasis in original]

Remember our treatise in Part 1 -- false religions teach that God loves all men unconditionally? With this thought in mind, consider this most sobering Biblical revelation:

"For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee ... thou hatest all workers of iniquity." [Psalms 5:4-5]

Listen to the footnote on this verse:

"There are differing views as to what is meant when it says that God hates those who sin (ps. 11:5). The first view suggests that God hates only the sin that the wicked do and not the people who commit the sins ... The problem with this view is that there is nothing in the context or the grammar of the passage to support this understanding of the verse. Simply stated: 'God hates all those who do iniquity.'

"Others believe that the Scriptures teach that God has, in fact, chosen to love some and hate others (2 Chr 19:2; Malachi 1:2, 3; also Romans 9:13)." [Key Word Study Bible, KJV, footnote for Psalm 5:5, p. 711]

Remember the old adage, "God hates the sin but loves the sinner"? Apparently, this statement has a real Biblical problem. Listen to this Key Word Study Bible footnote again:

"The problem with this view is that there is nothing in the context or the grammar of the passage to support this understanding of the verse." [Quoted above]

Cutting Edge is not fully persuaded on this point, but we feel the need to inform you that there are Bible scholars who believe this firmly. If they are right, a whole lot of people are going to be surprised at Judgment Day, discovering they are not going to Heaven.

According to this view of scholarship, the only unconditional love the Bible teaches that God has is toward the genuinely saved person who has received Jesus as Savior with a heart truly sorrowing over sin, and who is now in Right Standing with God the Father through the blood sacrifice of Jesus. This person God does love unconditionally and forever. Can you see that this belief in unconditional love for everybody -- even unbelievers -- goes one step beyond true Biblical teaching, that God has unconditional love for His redeemed?

Further, re-read John 3:16 very carefully and thoughtfully with this thought in mind: the verse was written to the genuine believer -- "whosoever believeth in him". God may show unconditional love only for the believer.

Listen again:

"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." [John 14:21]

"If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." [John 14:23]

"For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God." [John 16:27]

This Love of God cannot mean that individuals or nations can willfully sin, deliberating sinning, thinking that God has to continue to love them enough not to punish them for that sin.

* "I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau ..." [Mal 1:2-3] The hard truth of the Bible is that God apparently does not love every individual! He chooses those upon whom He will have mercy and He chooses those upon whom He will harden their heart. [Exodus 33:19; Romans 9:15-18]

Unconditional Love? Remember, false religions teach unconditional love -- Mark of the Beast implications

Tim LaHaye, "Left Behind" Series -- In the book, Nicolae, Hattie is contemplating an abortion and her Christian friends counsel her. Note that this series was written primarily to the Christian who knows little Bible, who has been conditioned to believe that a work is all right as long as it contains some truth; such Christians ignore the reality that it just takes a little leaven -- false teaching -- to ruin the whole lump of dough. Listen:

"Do you not know that just a little leaven will ferment the whole lump of dough?" [1 Corinthians 5:6; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

Unfortunately, too many Biblically illiterate unbelievers will understand doctrine and prophecy only through the "Left Behind" series, and so will likely be deceived on critical doctrines. Also remember that LaHaye has cleverly written the script in such a way that the Christian who wants to believe in LaHaye will pass right over particular parts of the script that are troubling, while unbelievers will be deceived by the theme of the script in question. Christians approach these novels with the assumption that the author is going to present correct doctrine, so they will let their mental guard down as they read.

Unbelievers will also read these novels in their state of unbelief and rebellion. If any tiny loophole on a critical doctrine is presented them, they are likely to seize that loophole and ignore the truth! In some instances, LaHaye offers both the truth AND a tiny loophole. The Christian reader will seize upon the truth presented and ignore the loophole, while the unbeliever will seize upon the loophole and ignore the truth. To understand how dangerous "Left Behind" is to the salvation of the unbeliever, the believer must read with the same set of "eyes" as the unbeliever.

In this section, as Hattie is considering an abortion, this principle holds supreme: the believer will read this section with one set of eyes but the unbeliever will read the same section with another set of eyes.

Let us now review the pertinent parts of the script:

"Let me just tell you, Hattie, if its love you're looking for, you came to the right place ... But these are decisions only you can make. And while they are life-and-death, heaven-and-hell decisions, all we can offer is support, encouragement, advice if you ask for it, and love. 'Yeah', Hattie said, 'love, if I buy into everything you have to sell'. No, we are going to love you anyway. We're going to love you the way God loves you .... if you chose to abort your baby, we won't love you any less." [Nicolae, p. 377-8]

"This is a lie straight from the pit of hell. God never supports or encourages a sinner in his sin and He never overlooks sin and says, 'I love you anyway'. The 'God' that loves while the wicked do wickedly is not the God of the Bible. ["God's Wrath On Left Behind", by Lisa Ruby, p. 42]

While casually mentioning the word, "Hell", the emphasis of this counsel is clearly on God's supposed unconditional love that could very well result in a desperate woman deciding to abort the baby, counting on the hope that God would love her enough to not send her to Hell. Nowhere in this script do we hear the words, "sin" or "repentance", two very necessary ingredients for forgiveness of sin. Remember that the followers of the false religions we studied in Part 1 believed that God loved them enough to not punish them in an eternal Hell.

The Apostle Paul encountered this type of teaching from Gnostic "Christians", who taught a God of all love. Listen to Paul's rebuttal:

"WHAT SHALL we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God's grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow? God forbid." [Romans 6:1-2a; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

This false advice that God's love is unconditional and that He will love Hattie even if she aborts the baby comes straight out of Freemasonry, "Morals and Dogma", as quoted above! In fact, Christian author, Gary Kah, reveals that Freemasonry decided in the late 1800's to deliberately create false religions in order to weaken true Christianity ["En Route To Global Occupation: Chapter, "Freemasonry - The Hidden Catalyst", p. 94]

What were some of these false religions? World Council of Churches, House of Theosophy, New Age Movement, many of the "Cults of the 1800's".

The truth is simple:. God loved us enough to send His Only Begotten Son to die in our stead, but if we deliberately sin, and do not come to him thoroughly repentant with our heart grieving for that sin, we cannot be saved! Listen:

"No one born begotten of God deliberately, knowingly, and habitually practices sin." [1 John 3:9; Ibid.]

Therefore, Hattie's Christian friends cannot deliberately advise a woman considering an abortion that God will love her even if she commits murder by killing her unborn baby. These Christians are encouraging Hattie to factor into her pre-abortion calculations the hope that "God is love"; thus, this hope is being factored in BEFOREHAND, before the abortion decision is made. We cannot decide to sin based upon an belief that God will be there, hat in hand, ready to let us into his heaven.

A true Christian would exhort sin and hell and judgment to a very high degree in order to dissuade a woman from taking that baby's life! The term, "scared the hell out of you" came from the Biblical truth that Jesus taught more about Hell than all the other Biblical writers combined! Jesus taught that a fear of hell is proper motivation to gain a person's attention to their sin so they will be open to Holy Spirit conviction so as to be saved!

The Biblical Role of the Holy Spirit In Salvation

What if Hattie deliberately chose an abortion -- a grievous sin -- based on her believe, her hope, that God is all love, but God's Holy Spirit refused to call her to repentance? What, you may ask, do I mean? Doesn't the sinner decide whether and when to repent? No, that is unbiblical and one of the major points of apostasy in the Liberal and Evangelical Christian Churches today. Listen to Jesus' own words:

"No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me..." [John 6:44; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

What if a person who calculated that they can have an abortion and then count on being able to repent afterwards and be forgiven, finds that the Holy Spirit never convicts them of sin anymore? What if the poor woman had crossed a line with God, so that He hardened her spirit so she can never come to salvation? This can never happen, you say? Listen:

"And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind ..." [Romans 1:28]

"But God turned away from them and delivered them up to worship and serve the host of heaven ..." [Acts 7:42]

Did you catch these pertinent phrases? "God gave them over to a base and condemned mind" and "God turned away from them"

A sinful, unbelieving person can most definitely cross a line with God, beyond which no repentance will be heard and no salvation granted; and each person needs to be painfully and constantly aware of this Biblical fact. Listen to more truth on this subject:

"HE WHO, being often reproved, hardens his neck shall suddenly be destroyed--and that without remedy." [Proverbs 29:1]

When a person who has presumed upon the goodness and continual forgiveness of God, the Bible tells us how God will look upon that person:

"... you treated as nothing all my counsel and would accept none of my reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when the thing comes that shall cause you terror and panic-- When your panic comes as a storm and desolation and your calamity comes on as a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. Then will they call upon me but I will not answer; they will seek me early and diligently but they will not find me." [Proverbs 1:24-26]

Did you catch the pertinent words? "They call upon me but I will not answer; they will seek me early and diligently but they will not find me."

Does this sound like "Unconditional Love" to you?

"Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth." [Proverbs 9:18]

Thus, you can see that Hattie was being told a monstrous lie by her Christian friends. If a person deliberately chooses to sin, believing God's "unconditional love" will save her from punishment and Hell, that person is not only deluded, but is definitely not genuinely saved. Christians are likely to shake their heads over this passage, but go on, feeling safe in their assumption that LaHaye would not teach anything contrary to the Bible; however, an unbeliever is likely to believe that God will love them unconditionally, no matter if they sin, even grievous sins.

Probable Tribulation Period Ramifications

If an unbeliever thinks that a person can commit abortion and still have God love them unconditionally, what will that person do when confronted by the False Prophet who is demanding that he or she take the Mark of the Beast, or suffer beheading? Is that unbeliever likely to remember God's unconditional love in the matter of the debate over Hattie's abortion, and conclude they can take the Mark of the Beast and still have God love them so much that He would not punish them? This concern is very real, for this "fictional series" is teaching the unbeliever doctrine -- false doctrine -- and the time is coming when unbelievers will act on the doctrine they have learned from Tim LaHaye's "Left Behind".

In fact, in the "Left Behind" book, "The Mark", Chang is forced to take the Mark, and still be saved because "once saved, always saved"! It is insidious how LaHaye mixes Biblical truth with Satanic error. [NOTE: the reality is that no person will be forced to take the "Mark of the Beast". Satan wants to be voluntarily worshipped, so he will gladly kill anyone who refuses to take the Mark of the Beast as a symbol of their worship of him. Occult writings depict Antichrist gathering the entire world together for a world-wide "Luciferic Initiation" to honor the Beast; people will be clearly told they are taking the Mark as a symbol of their love for Antichrist, so there will be no deception involved. However, untold millions will be sweating the guillotines which probably will be visibly active killing those who refuse; it is these people who are waiting in the line to take the Mark who are likely to remember the "Left Behind" series in which the Christian took the Mark and not only did not die, but prospered in the kingdom of Antichrist! Many of these people are likely to take the Mark because of the false doctrine taught in "Left Behind".

This type of unbeliever would not know enough Bible to go check out these "doctrines" of Left Behind to see they are really true.

The Bible warns:

"If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." [Rev 14:9-11]

It is a very serious matter for "Left Behind" to teach sinful unbelievers that God possesses unconditional love toward them, even through their sin; when the time comes for the Mark of the Beast to be implanted, many unbelievers are going to squirm mightily trying to figure out a way they can stay alive! Since "Left Behind" has given them a small loophole, their sinful natures are going to encourage the person to take advantage of the loophole -- go ahead and take the "Mark", they will reason, for God's love is unconditional.

Once the Rapture truly occurs, unbelievers are likely to read "Left Behind" books by the tens of millions, as they realized that they missed one of the key events of human history! At this moment, the unbiblical doctrines taught in these books will be readily accepted by these biblically illiterate people. They will ingest as "Christian" doctrine all the unbiblical doctrines these books teach. Millions will then be deceived as we have detailed, above.

God's love to the unbeliever may not be unconditional. Certainly, no one should presume His love is unconditional and base a life of sin on this presumption.

However, to the believer, who has repented of sin through the shed blood of Jesus at Calvary, God's love truly is limitless, as Tozer so beautifully states: "Because God is eternal, His Love had no beginning, nor will it have an end. Because God is Infinite, His love knows no boundaries. His Love is an incomprehensibly vast, bottomless, shoreless sea before which we kneel in joyful silence." (A.W. Tozer, "The Knowledge Of The Holy")

6. God is Just

"God's attribute of Justice always goes hand in hand with His Holiness and Righteousness. God only acts in Judgment when man has consistently acted in rebellion to His commandments, and in the face of repeated warnings. God is very precise when He is finally moved to Judgment; no one will ever accidentally receive punishment that he did not deserve. Remember, God's Perfections operate in conjunction with one another. His Compassion flows from His Goodness, but Goodness without Justice is not Goodness. God simply could not be good if He were not Just." [Ibid.; Emphasis added]

Let me reiterate: God's Justice always goes hand in hand with His Holiness and Righteous, which are expressed through His Judgment. In these verses, note they contain a reference both to Justice and Judgment.

Consider these Scriptures:

* "Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face." [Psalms 89:14]

* "Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins." [Psalms 7:9]

* "God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day." [Psalms 7:11]

* "For the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness." [Psalms 9:7-8]

* "... he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained." [Acts 17:31]

* "But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God ... unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil." [Romans 2:5, 8-9]

* "Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off." [Romans 11:22]

* "For true and righteous are his judgments." [Rev 19:2]

Let us now consider a news event where we see that officials of our country are not acting in accordance with Biblical principles as to how national Justice and Judgment shall be carried out. By examining this story, we shall see a very important Biblical truth as it relates to the nation!

b. NEWS BRIEF:

Dateline: The Boston Globe, November 9, "A Middlesex Superior Court judge yesterday ordered a wealthy businessman to state prison for 7-10 years for the near fatal stabbing of his girlfriend's 8-year old daughter. He then suspended all but three years of the sentence and released Carlos Gomez on $50,000 bail, pending appeal."

Everyday, we read reports such as this which demonstrate the inability of our current Justice System to provide judgment for sin according to God's commandments. At this point, we need to state two critical Biblical principles:

(1). Collective individual actions quickly adds up to a National condition in God's eyes.

(2). When the leaders of a nation consistently refuse to carry out God's prescribed commandments for specific sins, what must God do to remain true to His total Nature? In His own timing, God must carry out His prescribed punishments upon the entire nation. God enunciated this in two passages:

* Proverbs 29:1, "He who, being often reproved, hardens his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy."

* Jeremiah 12:17, "If any nation will not hear and obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, says the Lord."

Remember, God's hatred of rebellion and sin is just as perfect and just as powerful as is His attribute of LOVE.

7. God is Sovereign, Omnipotent, and Self-Existent

* "I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee." [Job 42:2]

* "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure." [Isaiah 46:10]

* "Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee." [Neh 9:6]

* "In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind." [Job 12:10] Amazingly, even the most vile of sinners depend upon God for the very breath in their nostrils!

* "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed ... He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision." [Psalms 2:1-4

* "The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land." [Psalms 10:16]

* "The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein." [Psalms 24:1]

* "God reigns over the nations; God sits upon His holy throne." [Psalm 47:8; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

* "... the world and its fullness are Mine." [Psalm 50:12b; Ibid.]

* "My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all else; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand." [John 10:29; Ibid.]

* "Hallelujah: for the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigneth." [Rev 19:6]

Again quoting from A.W. Tozer, "Sovereignty and Omnipotence must go together...to reign, God must have power and to reign in sovereignty, He must have all power". God is the source of all power in this universe. The Bible is filled with God's authority. Only a Sovereign Ruler, who felt absolutely no challenge to his authority, could create human beings with great capacity to think, reason, solve problems and mysteries, and exercise free will. The very fact that God allows man to exercise rebellion against Him shows God's absolute sovereignty. The key issue is that men are allowed to make their own choice during the time frame which God has allowed. Thus, at the end of time, God has the right to hold every person accountable for the choices which they have made.

Another great lie Satan has persuaded men to believe is that man possesses the authority and power to decide to re-write God's Commandments in such a way as to accommodate their own rebellion. Only when it is too late, on Judgment Day, will tens of millions of people discover that man had no such authority and/or power. This tragedy could be averted if man would only come now to recognize God's revealed authority, humbly coming to Him for forgiveness for sins. The Bible teaches that, just before individuals are cast into Hell forever, they will be forced to "bend their knee" to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, Savior, and Almighty God.(Philippians 2:10-11) Tragically, this forced recognition will not bring about eternal salvation. How much better it would be if men would just humbly give Jesus this recognition now, while "Today" is still the "Day of Salvation".

8. God Is Truth

Dictionary Definition -- "Conformity to fact, knowledge, or logic .. a standard, Reality" [Tormont Webster's Illustrated Encyclopedic Dictionary]

Biblical Definition -- "Ontological truth, i.e. accurate and adequate idea of existence as ultimate reality."—International Standard Bible Encyclopedia

"The doctrine of Christ is called "the truth of the gospel" (Gal 2:5), "the truth" (2Ti 3:7; 2Ti 4:4). Our Lord says of himself, "I am the way, and the truth" (John 14:6).—Easton's Illustrated Dictionary

Anything that is contrary to God's stated Truth is a lie. One of Satan's favorite tricks is to pull just a portion of Scripture out of context, in order to give a meaning contrary to the full context in which the statement was originally made. This falsehood is very deceptive because it is the more difficult to perceive and to expose.

A quick example of how a falsehood can be perpetrated through pulling text out of context is printed below. By these Scriptures, one could make the point that the Bible teaches suicide.

* "Then Judas ... departed, and went and hanged himself." [Matthew 27:3, 5]

* "... let him do likewise." [Luke 3:11]

* "Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly." [John 13:27]

By taking these verses out of context, we could claim Scriptural authority that man should hang himself, and quickly! Of course, this is absurdity, but much false teaching in the cults with which we have to contend today border upon this kind of absurdity; further, the Liberal and Evangelical Churches today are increasing their deviancy from the fundamentals of the faith, and will soon be at the point of absurdity, should the Lord tarry.

Bible Teaching on God Is Truth

* "... the Strength of Israel will not lie." [1 Sam 15:29]

* "All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies." [Psalms 25:10]

* "O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me..." [Psalms 43:3]

* "Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth." [Psalms 86:11]

* "Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face." [Psalms 89:14]

* "... the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD." [Psalms 117:2]

* "Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth..." [Dan 4:37] God's great power is truly exemplified when even a Satanic king like Nebuchadnezzar would confess the attributes of God!

* "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began." [Titus 1:2]

THE HERESY OF "UNITY" BASED UPON JOHN 17

The Roman Catholic Pope is leading Catholics, Liberal Christians, Charismatics and Evangelical Christians steadily into the New World Order, Kingdom of Antichrist, by misquoting and abusing Jesus' beautiful "Prayer of Intercession", found in John 17. By taking verses out of context, and refusing to acknowledge the meaning of the larger context, tens of millions of people today are uniting with others whose faith is very much different. These poor deluded people are being told that Jesus' Will is for His people, "who are called by His Name", to cast aside differences, and unite based upon what they hold in common.

This is rank heresy!

Let us first look at the "unity" Scriptures within this chapter, taken out of context:

* "Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are." [John 17:11]

* "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us..." [John 17:20-21]

* "And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one." [John 17:22]

* "I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." [John 17:23]

Based upon these Scriptures, Liberal and undiscerning Christians have been drawn into a league with various religious groups preaching this heresy:

Promise Keepers
Roman Catholics
Liberal Protestants
Evangelical Christians
Alpha Course
Seventh Day Adventists
World Wide Church of God
Charismatics

By disregarding key doctrinal differences, these "Christian" groups are joining with Roman Catholicism to "unite" based upon a faulty reading of John 17. On the other hand, the Roman Catholic Church is busily uniting Buddhists, Hindus, all New Age religious adherents, and all smaller pagan religions of the world, largely based upon their goddess worship. In other words, Rome is the key to uniting all religions of the world, Apostate Christianity and Goddess Worship religions. This heresy of uniting based upon what common beliefs the groups have, while ignoring doctrinal differences is leading the world to Antichrist! Thus, you can see how deadly dangerous it is to believe that "Doctrine Divides" and should be soft-pedaled. Jesus was the most divisive character in history, and clearly taught that He came to divide, not unite [Matthew 10:34-36; Luke 12:51-53; 14:26-27]

Doctrines are the End of the Age "Anchor of the Soul" that will lead the genuine Christian through the minefields called "Great Deception" of which the Lord warned in Matthew 24. Satan can counterfeit emotion, feelings and "signs and wonders", but he cannot alter doctrine one tiny bit. Doctrine is the truth of what the Bible tells us about God and Jesus Christ. We can only reach Heaven Jesus' way and that means adhering to His doctrines! Study them, know them, live them!

CONCLUSION

As you can see from this lengthy study, the truth of God's attributes is being distorted at a level that is simply unprecedented in world history. As Daily News events draw us closer to the time when the End of the Age truly draws nigh, we can see that the religions of the world are gathering themselves together into the One World Religion that will serve Antichrist. False teachings such as the ones we have just discussed are leading the way.

We earnestly pray that you will not be so deceived! Truly, Jesus' warnings in Matthew 24 against unparalleled deception is coming true.

Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.

He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.
