Trials separate the men from the boys, the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the tares. The proof of whether you are a true follower of Jesus often is shown by how you endure the trials.
One of the fruits of a genuine believer is that you endure hardship. Defection during a trial can be proof that you have had a false conversion.
No matter what happens, do you believe that God is in control, and the He will certainly bring good in your life through this trial? Will you wait upon Him by faith until the spiritual darkness becomes light?
Trials also produce styaing power; the testing of your faith produces the ability to remain steadfast under fire. The nail that doesn't remain under the hammer will never reach the goal; the gold that doesn't remain under the fire will never be totally purified. The Christian who doesn't remain under the hand of God will never see His purpose for the trial worked out and will never experience the life transformation which God wants so desperately to produce in your life.
During this most difficult period of human history, Christians need the Rock-Solid spiritual meat and bread which this book provides.
