"Most Americans say the government shutdown
is causing a crisis or major problems for the country, according
to a new national poll. And while a CNN/ORC International
survey also indicates that slightly more people are angry
at Republicans than Democrats or President Barack Obama
for the shutdown, it is clear that both sides are taking
a hit."
People are nearly as mad at the Democrats
and President Obama for this mess than they are against
the Republicans.
Herein lies the major story: Citizens on both
sides of the political aisle are angry, and they express
declining approval of both parties!
"According to the poll, 63% of those
questioned say they are angry at the Republicans for the
way they have handled the shutdown. 'But the Democrats are
not getting off scot-free. Fifty-seven percent of Americans
are also angry at the way the Democrats are dealing with
the shutdown. And a 53% majority say they are also angry
at President Obama', says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.
'It looks like there is more than enough blame to go around
and both parties are being hurt by the shutdown'."
How many times have President Obama and the
Republicans driven the country nearly to the brink of disaster
before they would swerve at the last possible second to
avoid going over a cliff from which America might not recover
for a generation. At least, that is the heated rhetoric
consistently coming from both leaders of both political
parties.
And, this "government by crisis"
is wearying the American people.

has severely undercut Israel’s strategy of compelling
complete dismantlement of Iran’s nuclear program through
strengthened sanctions and the credible threat of military
force."
This somber assessment was delivered by a
most credible source, a recently retired IDF general!
"As long as the White House remains directly
involved in so-called P5 Plus 1 talks with Iran, they say,
Israel cannot contemplate pre-emptive attack. 'Obama’s
relationship with Rouhani may be warming up, but it’s
forcing us to put unilateral strike options on ice', said
a former member of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) General
Staff."
In fact, Israel is disheartened over the recent
turn of events in Syria, Lebanon, and now Iran, because
in all three of these crises, the real story is that President
Obama has reduced the credibility of America's military
capability! Without the Arabs believing that America will
continue performing her duties as "regional policeman",
with the military capability of destroying an enemy that
crosses her path, Israel will become the focus of the white-hot
hatred of over 300 million Arabs!

The Foreign Secretary
chose the same catalyst for rapprochement that President
Obama selected, i.e., the election of the new Iranian President,

I find it very interesting
to note that the two nations who launched the first attacks
into the "Non-Integrating
Gap" in 2001 (Afghanistan) and in 2003
(Iraq) are now leading the way to calm the waters with Iran,
even over the strenuous objections of Israel.
Sunni Saudi Arabia is
also exceedingly upset that America and England are abruptly
speaking nicely to Iran.

This diplomatic conflict between Shi'ite Iran
