Essentially, HFCS can interfere with the body’s uptake of certain dietary minerals — namely zinc. "In the fall of 2010, Dr. Ferric C. Fang made an unsettling discovery. Dr. Fang, who is editor in chief of the journal 'Infection and Immunity', found that one of his authors had doctored several papers ... The journal wound up retracting six of the papers from the author, Naoki Mori of the University of the Ryukyus in Japan. And it soon became clear that Infection and Immunity was hardly the only victim of Dr. Mori’s misconduct. Since then, other scientific journals have retracted two dozen of his papers..."

"“Nobody had noticed the whole thing was rotten,” said Dr. Fang ... Dr. Fang became curious how far the rot extended ... not only that retractions were rising at an alarming rate, but that retractions were just a manifestation of a much more profound problem — “a symptom of a dysfunctional scientific climate,” as Dr. Fang put it. "

As it turns out, scientists who were "doctoring" their research had become bold and blatant in their disregard for human health and life.

"Dr. Casadevall, now editor in chief of the journal mBio, said he feared that science had turned into a winner-take-all game with perverse incentives that lead scientists to cut corners and, in some cases, commit acts of misconduct ... critics like Dr. Fang and Dr. Casadevall argue that science has changed in some worrying ways in recent decades — especially biomedical research, which consumes a larger and larger share of government science spending ... In October 2011, for example, the journal Nature reported that published retractions had increased tenfold over the past decade ... To survive professionally, scientists feel the need to publish as many papers as possible, and to get them into high-profile journals. And sometimes they cut corners or even commit misconduct to get there...."

Retractions of bad information are not limited to small professional journals who have small staffs and cannot afford to pay for a double-check system.

"The highest “retraction index” in the study went to one of the world’s leading medical journals, The New England Journal of Medicine."

The bottom line as to why this deliberate misconduct is occurring is the almighty Dollar. In many instances, a new hypothesis is pushed before other scientists have been able to critique it, because university funding is at stake. Or, a new hypothesis is printed because new products, new drugs, are already coming out to "cure" the hypothetical new problem. As we say in "Medical Murder", one has only to follow the Trillion Dollar money trail to see who is behind all the lies.

One other trend which has been occurring is advertisement from Liability Legal Firms, telling you that, if you took a certain advertised drug, you might be in line for part of a huge class-action law suit. In a few cases, I remembered the drug mentioned; I remembered how wonderful the TV ad made the drug look and sound, making people believe they simply had to have it. Now, evidence was rolling in, showing that this particular drug was a killer.

Meanwhile, Mass Media attention continues to be riveted on the sex scandal involving "the President's men", a subject guaranteed to stoke lust in the heart of most viewers, and that always sells lots of airtime or newspapers.

Until now, the Hotel Caribe had been the focus of the scandal, where the other 22 members of the Secret Service and military accused of inappropriate behavior were checked in. "
