In our News Alert of March 12, 2007, we reported to you that Israel is continuing to prepare for the destruction of all Palestinian people, as foretold 2,600 years ago in Obadiah 15-18. In reporting this to you, I in no way get any satisfaction in this coming destruction of an entire people.

Since I quoted our original article, NEWS1422, several times in this News Alert, let me reiterate what I said when writing that article in October, 2000.

I feel the same way, as this prophesied destruction hurts my heart and distresses my soul greatly.

But, this prophecy is in the Bible, and we can see the steps being taken by Israel to carry it out. In fact, End of the Age prophecy is the only time in world history where entire populations of people are destroyed in God's judgment. In the Book of Revelation, the total percentage of people in the world killed by God's judgments is 66%.

---------- This Weeks Hot News ----------"Mark of the Beast" News!

I. Europe is predicted to be totally on a cashless economic system in just five years!

NEWS BRIEF: "Cashless society by 2012, says Visa chief", by Tim Webb, The Independent, 11 March 2007

"Paying for goods with notes and coins could be consigned to history within five years, according to the chief executive of Visa Europe. Peter Ayliffe said that, by 2012, using credit and debit cards should be cheaper and more convenient than cash. Some retailers could soon start surcharging customers if they choose to buy products with cash, because of the greater cost of processing these payments, he warned."

Can you imagine such a turn of events? Retailers charging a fee for customers paying with cash seems to be too farfetched to believe; yet, the Chief Executive of Visa, Europe, is predicting just this scenario! This scene reminds me of the TV commercial for Visa Debit Card, shown last Fall, where customers are merrily purchasing their food in a mall specialty store with all customers synchronistically purchasing product with ease and comfort.

Suddenly, a guy interrupts all this by reaching into his wallet to pay with cash. People behind him trip over each other and bedlam ensues, until the cash-paying guy is finished and has exited the retail store!

In this next news segment, this Visa executive pointed to the one feature which would make debit and credit cards so easy and fast to use, and it is the same feature in the Visa Card commercial about which we talked, above.

"Visa Europe briefed the British Retail Consortium last month on new 'contactless' cards that can be waved in front of a scanner to make small payments."

The Exxon oil company currently has just such a 'contactless' card, which is scanned in front of a detector station, making it faster and easier for the card holder to purchase gas.

Of course, this news has End of the Age ramifications. Protestant Bible scholars for centuries have been united in their view of the "Mark of the Beast" prophecy of Revelation 13:16-18, believing that the only way this prophecy could occur is if the economies of all the world were "buying and selling" without cash. Two hundred years ago, no scholar could foresee exactly how the world's economies could operate without cash, but since the prophecy demanded such a system, they accepted a cashless society without much reservation.

Let us review this prophecy now.

The first sentence of this Scripture foretells that the world will be under a repressive global dictatorship, exactly the kind of dictatorship which the Illuminati is bringing forth right now under the guise of "fighting terror". Obviously, only such a global government could force everyone to take the "Mark of the Beast".

Just as obviously, this Mark had to be part of a global economy in which cash has been eliminated, exactly the scenario suggested by this Visa chief. Once again, we see one of those definitive "Signs of the Times", telling us that the End of the Age is bearing down upon us with breakneck speed!

"Luciferian Transmutation" - Preparing All People For Antichrist and His Mark

II. Over 500 hospitals are now going to start implanting chips in their patients! You simply cannot get more of a "Mark of the Beast", End of the Age sign than this one!

NEWS BRIEF: "VeriChip Passes Significant Milestone: Over 500 Hospitals Have Now Agreed to Adopt VeriMed Patient Identification System", PRNewswire-FirstCall, March 13, 2007

"VeriChip Corporation (Nasdaq: CHIP - News), a provider of RFID systems for healthcare and patient-related needs, announced today that 65 new hospitals have agreed to participate in the VeriMed Patient Identification System network at the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) 13th Annual Scientific Assembly conference in Las Vegas, bringing the Company's total number of enrolled hospitals to more than 500."

While 500 hospitals probably does not amount to much of a percentage of the total number of hospitals in the United States, other hospital administrators will be quick to jump on this "bandwagon" once the first hospitals are implanting chips in people without any serious problems.

"The VeriMed Patient Identification System, which consists of a hand-held radio frequency identification (RFID) scanner, an implantable RFID microchip, and a secure patient database, is being used to help rapidly identify and provide access to important health information on participating patients. The new healthcare facilities agreed to use the VeriMed reader as standard protocol to scan patients that arrive in emergency rooms unconscious, delirious or confused."

Once this practice of implanting chips in humans gains more widespread acceptance, you will soon hear proposals to start implanting newly born babies! At that point, conditioning to accept an implantable chip as a normal procedure will be heavily underway.

Remember, the only implantable chip which will send you to Hell if you accept it, is the chip implanted at the time when Antichrist and his False Religious Prophet are forcing people to be implanted with the Mark in either the middle of the forehead or the right hand. This particular chip will be presented to the peoples of the world as a means by which they are pledging their loyalty and allegiance to the First Beast, Antichrist. Thus, everyone who allows a chip to be implanted will know that they are pledging their love and loyalty to the First Beast -- Antichrist. For this reason, everyone who takes this Mark will be later cast into Hell.

If you are like me, no one will put an implantable chip in either me or my loved ones!

III. News reports seem to be telling us that President Bush is once again engaged in deceptive tactics in dealing with the American public. Months ago, he told us all that he needed to gain success was to "surge" 21,500 more troops into the Battle For Baghdad.

Now, he and/or his officials keep asking for more troops incrementally. One news report indicates that the President may be secretly aiming for a total of 50,000 more troops!

NEWS BRIEF: "General requests more troops", The Miami Herald, March 16, 2007

"BOSTON --The commander of U.S. forces in Iraq has asked for an additional 2,500 to 3,000 troops to be sent to Iraq as part of the Bush administration's military buildup to crack down on rising sectarian violence and insurgents ... Gen. David Petraeus wants another Army combat aviation unit - which would be the sixth Army brigade involved in the buildup - deployed to support the more than 26,000 soldiers already on their way to Iraq under the plan opposed by many Democrats in Congress."

Did you catch this revelation? General Pretraeus is asking for up to 3,000 more troops, in addition to the more than 26,000 troops already on the way to Iraq! President Bush initially told Congress and the American people that he needed only 21,500 additional troops. Already, that number has increased by 4,500, with General Petraeus asking for 3,000 more.

But, now this next article informs us that the real number of troop increase might be 50,000!

NEWS BRIEF: "US military has told Bush that to “retake” Baghdad” will require 50,000 more troops", TBR News.org, March 12, 2007

"We are rapidly approaching a major confrontation here yet very few people are aware of it. The military has told Bush that to 'retake Baghdad' i.e., kick out the insurgents and, most important, secure the city against a return, the U.S. will need 50,000 new troops!"

"Bush wouldn’t dare risk a public explosion on top of the growing medical lack-of-care scandal so he is shipping men over in small increments ... The same military estimates that with luck, they can 'fully secure' Baghdad within four months and then establish iron control over it to prevent any return of the insurgents."

When I was serving in the U.S. Army Intelligence, stationed at a Pentagon level facility fro 2 1/2 years with a Top Secret Crypto clearance, I knew nothing of the New World Order and believed that all prophecy had been completed by 70 A.D.

But, the one thing I learned with my high security clearance was that all of our politicians lied to the American people nearly every day and nearly on every issue. Democrats and Republicans alike were liars. The President, the Pentagon, and members of Congress lied and lied and lied.

Therefore, we should not be too surprised to learn that Bush and his generals had a much higher level of reinforcement in mind when the President spoke of the 21,500 more troops, and that they were simply lying to us in initially providing the earlier, lower figure.

As more American troops pour into the Middle East (Valley of Jehoshaphat), I can only think of that most important prophecy in Joel 3, a prophecy which does not begin until Israel is returned to her land, a momentous event which occurred May 14, 1948.

"I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there will I deal with and execute judgment upon them ... Prepare war! Stir up the mighty men! Let all the men of war draw near ... Let the nations bestir themselves and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about. Put in the sickle, for the vintage harvest is ripe; come, get down and tread the grapes, for the winepress is full; the vats overflow, for the wickedness of the peoples is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision." (Joel 3:2-14, Selected verses; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)

The next verse tells us that this unrelenting war of "all nations" will occur at the End of the Age.

This wording is very similar to other verses which are most definitely into the End of the Age.

This next verse tells of God's special protection of His Nation, Israel.

All people filled with anti-Semitic hatred will do well to note this verse soberly. For all her national faults and her wickedness, Israel will be changed greatly by the chastening hand of Almighty God. Once God uses Israel to wreak his judgment upon the Palestinians (NEWS2095), He will then turns upon Israel in terrible final judgment; He will allow Antichrist to arise and carry out the greatest amount of deception ever conceived, followed by the "Greatest Tribulation" ever seen by the Jew. Zechariah 13:8-9 foretells that God will allow Antichrist to kill 66% of all Jews, while He protects the remnant.

Zechariah 14:12, tells of the kind of protection God is going to provide Israel and Jerusalem; this verse provides specific detail to the general guarantee of protection God promises Jerusalem and Zion, His holy mountain (The Temple Mount).

Once Israel destroys the Palestinians in fulfillment of Obadiah 15-18 (NEWS1422), she is going to infuriate the nations of the world so greatly that she will need Divine protection. Events are building to this point, and are both exciting and terrible to behold!

IV. While American and Iraqi troops are carrying out their "surge" offensive, details are beginning to emerge which casts the entire operation out of the military mold and more into the criminal element.

NEWS BRIEF: "Surge and destroy in Iraq: Desperation has led to unprecedented brutality and the consideration of, or even the embrace of, strategies that are even more destructive", by By Michael Schwartz, Asia Times, March 16, 2007

"Bush has promised three prongs to his new strategy: (1) attacking and neutralizing Muqtada al-Sadr's Mehdi Army militia; (2) confronting Iran; and (3) a new offensive against Sunni insurgents.

1) Neutralizing the Mehdi Army -- Since 2004, cleric Muqtada al-Sadr has been the Shi'ite the Bush administration has most loved to hate ... In its fourth (attempt), the intention to dislodge, disrupt or destroy the Mehdi Army appears guaranteed to fail. It is just a matter of what sort of failure the US will choose."

2) Confronting Iran -- "There are all sorts of symptoms of the new approach to Iran, including the (mostly trumped up) accusations about that country supplying Iraqi insurgents with advanced weaponry, the arrests of accused Iranian infiltrators and their Iraqi allies, and the stationing of a second aircraft-carrier task force in the Persian Gulf (with possibly two more on the way). And the US and foreign media have been carrying a constant stream of reports about possible US or Israeli air attacks on Iran itself."

"... if the Iranians are supplying sophisticated IEDs, it's to the Shi'ite insurgents (even the US military admits to that); and the US is not (currently) fighting the Shi'ite insurgents, it's fighting Sunni insurgents, who hate Iran just as much as - possibly more than - the US. However, this accusation is most often stripped of this critical 'detail' in the media (especially on television news). Therefore, the impression is left that a large proportion of American casualties are somehow being caused by Iranian technology. That, too, is absurd."

"... But the fact that these accusations are so spindly only adds to fears that the administration is constructing a web of lies, half-truths, and cherry-picked intelligence to justify an already-planned attack - just as its top officials did four years ago in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq. "

"But many similar indications were present last spring and no attack occurred, presumably because saner heads inside the Bush administration prevailed... This one could tip either way."

3) Attacking the Sunni insurgents -- "For the most part, the new strategy in Sunni areas of Baghdad is the same old strategy ... There is, however, a new twist: the Americans now intend to keep troops at fortified mini-bases in many of Baghdad's Sunni neighborhoods - supposedly to establish long-term stability and facilitate reconstruction - after (and sometimes even before) they are 'cleared of insurgents'. The small forward bases - really glorified police stations - will be placed in the middle of Baghdad 'hot spots'. "

Now, get ready, for this next segment reveals that American troops in this offensive are committing "ethnic cleansing"!

"The first prong of this new policy is doomed. No area in Baghdad, or for that matter in Iraq, has been successfully pacified in this manner ... US implementation of this plan in Baghdad has already begun, with a devastating offensive in the Haifa Street area, near the heavily fortified Green Zone, which quickly escalated into the wholesale destruction of the neighborhood. Once the initial onslaught was over, the offensive devolved into a case of Shi'ite ethnic cleansing; Sunni residents who left during the heavy fighting are not being allowed back in by the Shi'ite police and troops who arrived with the Americans. We can expect a regular diet of such clashes, possibly marked by the liberal use of air power, guaranteed to devastate neighborhoods, followed by sectarian struggles over who will repossess the destroyed buildings, usually resolved in favor of the Shi'ite allies of the US troops. "

It is incredible that American troops are aiding the Shi'ite police and army units of the Iraqi government in "cleansing" entire neighborhoods of Sunni civilians! The Shi'ite government of Iran must be smiling from ear to ear! Yes, that is right. Bush says he hates the Shi'ite Iranians, then turns around to create a Shi'ite government with Shi'ite leaders who find much in common with Iran and who have made dramatic overtures to Iran.

Then, America constantly berates Shit'ite Iran because she is somehow helping Sunni insurgents kill Americans! Of course, this makes no sense whatsoever, because of the intense hatred which both Shi'ite and Sunni have toward each other, a hatred which goes back almost 1,000 years!

Now, we learn that American "surge" forces are "cleansing" Sunni neighborhoods, cooperating with the Shi'ite Iraqi government!

As usual, nothing makes sense when you poke through the surface media nonsense. Remember what Cutting Edge has always taught: if you want to discover the truth about a matter, look 180 degrees in the opposite direction! (Read NEWS1558, "Breaking Out of the Propaganda Box").

V. The American "surge" military operation was undertaken in January for a very good reason: Sunni insurgents were attacking Shi'ites and American troops so often, and with such success, the situation was spiraling nearly out of control.

NEWS BRIEF: "Attacks in Iraq hit all-time high", Herald Sun, March 15, 2007

"THE number of attacks in Iraq during the last three months of 2006 was the highest for any such period since 2003, a Pentagon progress report to Congress said today. 'Although most attacks continue to be directed against coalition forces, Iraqi civilians suffer the vast majority of the casualties' ... Some elements of the situation in Iraq are properly descriptive of a 'civil war,' including the hardening of ethno-sectarian and politically motivated violence, and population displacements' ... Illegally armed groups are engaged in a self-sustaining cycle of sectarian and politically motivated violence, using tactics that include indiscriminate bombing, murder and indirect fire to intimidate people, and stoke sectarian violence', it said."

The numbers of people being killed are staggering, and are much more staggering when you realize that the vast majority of these civilian murders are being committed by Sunni insurgents against Shi'ites. When you read of these horrendous bombings, take care to note the religious persuasion of the victims -- they normally will be Shi'ite, which means Sunni insurgents carried out the deed.

Now, let us examine the numbers of people being killed.

"A chart showed a surge in sectarian incidents from September through December with murders spiking to about 1300 in December alone ... During the last three months of the year, Baghdad experienced a record 45 attacks a day ... The total number of attacks on and casualties suffered by coalition forces, the ISF (Iraqi Security Forces), and Iraqi civilians for the October-December reporting period were the highest for any three-month period since 2003', it said."

How effective has the "surge" operation been on reducing this exceedingly high level of Sunni attacks on Shi'ites? Not very effective.

" 'Casualties from these attacks decreased slightly in January, but remained troublingly high' .... A chart in the report, however, showed average weekly attacks between January 1 and February 9 exceeded 1000, compared to a weekly average in the last six months of 2006 of about 900."

Can you see why most observers believe America's "surge" effort is doomed to fail? A short time after President Bush announced his "surge" plan, one of the leaders of the Sunni insurgents taunted him by saying, "why don't you send your entire army to Iraq, so we can defeat them all"?

Now that you understand that American forces are devastating entire civilian neighborhoods in what can only be described as "ethnic cleansing", you will comprehend this next article more clearly.

NEWS BRIEF: "Out with the foreign troops", by H.D.S. Greenway, The Boston Globe, reprinted in the International Herald Tribune, March 14, 2007

"What the president and proponents of the 'surge' in Iraq have underestimated is the loathing Iraqis have of foreign troops bursting into their houses, shoot-to-kill checkpoints, and the humiliation occupation brings. Foreign troops legitimize insurgency."

How would we all feel if foreign troops regularly invaded our homes, killed our families, raped our women, and set up deadly checkpoints -- time and time again? Put yourselves in the position of these poor ordinary Iraqi citizens.

Why, the more civilians American forces "cleanse", the more Iraqi insurgents are created. Men, young to old, cannot wait to volunteer for the insurgency once American forces have cleansed their neighborhood!

This next segment provides more detail as to what the Americans are doing to cause such hatred.

"The photograph shows four American soldiers, dressed in full, intimidating battle gear, around the periphery of a Baghdad living room. In the center, on the carpeted floor, lies a collapsed woman in a traditional black dress. A man, identified as her son, is holding her in his arms. His feet are bare, as if he were caught by surprise. But what arrests the eye is the look of horror and terror on his face as he looks up at an armed, gesticulating soldier. Another soldier has taken the liberty of making himself at home on the sofa ... machine gun-toting Americans rooting through bedrooms, inspecting weapons, and demanding identification cards clearly unsettle some residents."

"They do more harm than unsettle. One U.S. soldier told Partlow: 'I was here the last time, in the beginning. Now that's totally changed. They don't even respect us anymore. They spit at us, they throw rocks at us. It wasn't like that before'."

The President and his aides, and key leaders of the Congress, can fill the air with all the rhetoric they want to about how the goal is to "liberate" Iraq, but the reality is that the level of hatred against the Americans by Iraqi citizens is so high that the country will likely never be pacified.

Cutting Edge predicted that American soldiers would brutalize the Iraqi people, and we centered this prediction on the basis of prophecy. Do you remember?

NEWS1704, entitled, "RHETORIC AGAINST IRAQ NOW TAKING THE SHAPE OF 2,500 YEAR-OLD-PROPHECY!", was posted months before American forces invaded Iraq. We believed that this Coalition Force invasion was likely fulfillment of the Last Days' prophecies found in Isaiah 13.

Based upon this belief, we stated that Coalition Forces were going to brutally treat the Iraqi citizens. Listen as we quote pertinent portions of this original article:

"The weapons used by the invading armies will deliver such unprecedented destruction that the Iraqi people can scarcely believe it. Listen:

"Unprecedented Warfare" is prophesied. Note this next prophecy, where God is coming "fierce, with wrath and raging anger" to bring final physical judgment upon the people of modern day Iraq (Ancient Babylon).

If God is using Coalition Forces as His hand of judgment against Babylon (Iraq), we should expect that these forces would be brutal to the people. They have been brutal, and that brutality continues. This fact contributes to the larger body of evidence that these events are propelling the world closer to the time of the end, when Antichrist will arise, following the "Final Birth Pang War", which the Illuminati calls "World War III".

Finally, note that God gives a progression in this prophecy.

"... to make the land and the whole earth a desolation and to destroy out of it its sinners."

Once God finishes His judgment against Babylon (Iraq), He is going to expand His End Days judgments outward to encompass the whole world! Based upon this prophecy, Cutting Edge has always believed that this Iraq war will cause a prophetic ripple effect outward, first engulfing the Middle East Region in all-out warfare, and then spreading to the entire earth.

Out of the dust and destruction of this Final Birth Pangs War, Antichrist will come striding onto the world stage.

VI. A new Palestinian Unity Government has just taken office, presenting Israel with an entirely new set of problems.

However, this unity government is absolutely necessary if a new Palestinian State will be formed. Do not be deceived, for a Palestinian State will be temporarily declared, just before Israel destroys it totally.

NEWS BRIEF: "Israel risks isolation as Hamas-Fatah coalition takes office", The Guardian (London), March 16, 2007

"Israel seems to be heading for confrontation with Britain and the EU after announcing a total boycott of the new Palestinian national unity government, due to be sworn in tomorrow .... Israel objects to the new government's failure to meet the three conditions laid down by the international community: recognise Israel, renounce violence and accept previous peace agreements."

These three principles were actually laid down by the "Quartet" of nations as the only basis upon which a lasting peace could ever exist between Israel and the Palestinians. Therefore, it is only natural for Israeli leadership to reject this new Palestinian government.

However, in the Middle East, where past positions are as quickly forgotten as the morning dew, and where friends routinely stab other friends in the back, it seems as though the E.U. and the United States have forgotten their earlier stance.

"But Britain and the EU appear willing to deal with the unity government on a selective basis, and there are signs that even the US - anxious to appease its conservative Arab allies - may part company with the Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, over the issue. Washington conspicuously failed to announce a boycott of its own, saying it was reserving judgment."

Everyone is so anxious to give birth to this Palestinian Government that they will do anything, and appease anyone, in order to get it. Now, let us examine the make-up of this new unity government.

The new unity government, which must be approved in the PA legislature on Saturday, is the 11th PA government since the establishment of the Palestinian Authority in 1993. "

Therefore, the extreme terrorist organization, Hamas, holds the office of Prime Minister, while Abu Mazon (Abbas), ranks below him as the Palestinian Authority Chairman But, this is the way matters should be, for Hamas won the Palestinian election last Fall. Since that election, Israel and the United States, have been trying to find a way to deny Hamas the fruits of their electoral victory.

This new unity Palestinian government does not want peace, nor peaceful co-existence with Israel. Rather, this government wants only the destruction of Israel. This next segment makes this reality very clear.

"The Palestinian Authority has a new government - one that doesn't recognize Israel nor renounce terrorism. Shabak chief terms Hamas-Fatah ties as 'ticking time-bomb'."

Israeli "MK Zevulun Orlev (National Religious Party) said that the new unity government 'reflects unity in the Palestinian goal of continued terrorism and implementation of the Hamas platform of destroying Israel'."

This unity government fulfills the desire of the government of Saudi Arabia, who was afraid that civil war would completely destroy the Palestinian movement and allow Israel and the United States total domination. Saudi rulers were also afraid that, if the Palestinians were humiliated further, and if the American invasion of Iraq continued to spark the growth of angry Islamic militants, their own government could be overthrown.

However, do not be deceived into thinking that this new Palestinian unity government will produce permanent peace within the Palestinians. You see, the Abbas (Fatah) branch is controlled by Freemasons, while the Hamas is controlled by true Palestinians. Therefore, Abbas is constantly trying to guide the Palestinians into the path dictated by the United States, Great Britain, and Israel, so the Masonic program can be established (Read NEWS1643, "FERVENT MASONIC DESIRE TO REBUILD SOLOMON'S TEMPLE IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THE EVENTS OF THE MID-EAST TODAY.
