Russian President Putin due in Turkey on June 25

Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to arrive in Turkey to attend the Black Sea Economic Cooperation summit to be held on June 25.

Putin will arrive in Istanbul on June 25, when the summit meeting to be held in Turkey’s largest city.

Established in 1992, the 12-member regional economic organization covers a geography encompassing the territories of the Black Sea littoral States, the Balkans and the Caucasus with an area of nearly 20 million square kilometers.

Heads of states and governments of BSEC member states will convene in Istanbul, while the organization will celebrate its 15th anniversary.
