The IDF pulled forces out of the northern Gaza Strip today.

Soldiers were deployed in the Beit Lahiya and Jebalya refugee camp areas for several days to prevent the firing of al-Kassam missiles.

The troops were withdrawn on Monday morning, after some behind-the-scenes coordination between the IDF and Palestinian security, Israel Radio said.

Despite the troop presence in Gaza, four rockets struck the Negev town of Sderot on Sunday. One of them struck near a girls' school, but there were no reported injuries. One woman was treated for shock.
