OUR SUN IS DIMMING!
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shed its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken." (Matthew 24:29)
If we are in the End of the Age as we think we are, we should not be too surprised to see that fulfillment of Bible prophecy is being formed, just beyond the horizon. At the right prophetic time, Jesus will bring each of these fulfillment's to pass. Some prophecy will occur according to man's hand -- forced by the Omnipotent power of prophecy -- while our Lord shall supernaturally intervene to bring others to pass. In fact, Cutting Edge has actively sought over these past 8 years to point out instance after instance where we can see the stage being set for fulfillment of prophecy, thus strengthening our believe that we are, indeed, living in the End of the Age.
This past week, BBC News broke a startling story: The Sun is dimming! This news hearkens our mind back to Matthew 24:29, quoted above. Let us review the BBC New article.
NEWS BRIEF: "Why the Sun seems to be 'dimming' ", By David Sington, BBC News, 13 January, 2005
"We are all seeing rather less of the Sun, according to scientists who have been looking at five decades of sunlight measurements. They have reached the disturbing conclusion that the amount of solar energy reaching the Earth's surface has been gradually falling ... The effect was first spotted by Gerry Stanhill, an English scientist working in Israel. Comparing Israeli sunlight records from the 1950s with current ones, Dr Stanhill was astonished to find a large fall in solar radiation."
" 'There was a staggering 22% drop in the sunlight, and that really amazed me'. Intrigued, he searched records from all around the world, and found the same story almost everywhere he looked. Sunlight was falling by 10% over the USA, nearly 30% in parts of the former Soviet Union, and even by 16% in parts of the British Isles. Although the effect varied greatly from place to place, overall the decline amounted to one to two per cent globally every decade between the 1950s and the 1990s. Dr Stanhill called it 'global dimming' ... his conclusions were confirmed by Australian scientists using a completely different method to estimate solar radiation, that climate scientists at last woke up to the reality of global dimming."
This author of this article does not really know what is causing this solar dimming, but he theorizes it may be caused either by air pollution or global warming. However, we remember a science article a number of years ago which measured the same solar effect, but reached a far different conclusion.
NEWS BRIEF: ""Has God Already Turned Off The Sun? Scientific Evidence Says Maybe!", by Robert W. Faid, "A Scientific Approach to Biblical Mysteries", New Leaf Press, 1993.
Robert Faid is a nuclear scientist, former consultant to the nuclear power industry, and has developed patented processes designed to protect nuclear power plants around the world against earthquakes and flooding. His scientific knowledge, in addition to his Christian knowledge and experience, uniquely qualify him to report on unique scientific information that has direct application to Biblical prophecy and possible End Times fulfillment. This chapter on our Sun was just one such unique application.
"Until recently, the source of the sun's power was a mystery. It was not until science duplicated the sun's solar furnace with the fusion of hydrogen, first in the hydrogen bomb and later in preliminary experiments with hydrogen fusion as a source of useful energy, that the mechanism of what is happening in the interior of the sun and other stars was understood. The sun is a ball of hot gasses 865,000 miles in diameter, 109 times the diameter of the earth. The great size of the sun means that near the center there is extremely high gravitational pressure, forcing the nuclei of the hydrogen atoms close together. The forces of gravity generate extreme heat, and the protons of the hydrogen atoms actually form a plasma. It is within this high temperature plasma that four nuclei combine to form an atom of helium -- the release of tremendous energy." [p. 190]
I have always been fascinated by our sun, since it is so large relative to the earth, and emits so much heat and energy. Furthermore, I have always been fascinated by the scientific fact that the earth is placed in exactly the right position to receive enough heat and light to sustain life without receiving so much that life would be impossible. If the earth were just a little closer, we would be too hot and would receive too much radiation; if the earth were just a little further away, we would be too cold to sustain life. The fact that we are uniquely positioned from the sun speaks volumes to me about the Wise Creator God Who created this universe, hanging all the planets "on nothing". Now, let us get back to facts about our sun.
"Within the core of the sun the energy produced is equivalent to 90 billion one-megaton hydrogen bombs exploding every second. The physical conditions produced by this are beyond our imagination. Temperatures are in the tens of millions of degrees and a pressure over 200 billion times that which we experience in the earth's atmosphere. Each second 700 million tons of hydrogen are consumed -- converted to helium -- with the release of all types of particles and radiation, as mass is converted to energy." [Ibid.]
As fascinated as scientists are with the activity of the sun, they have been repeatedly frustrated by their inability to ascertain what is happening within the center of the sun, where the reactor core is producing these explosions of gasses into heat and sunlight. They could only see, and measure, the surface. However, recently, scientists have developed a method of determining exactly what was happening within the reactor core of the sun, and what they have discovered is truly shocking!
In 1930, Wolfgang Pauli discovered a new sub-atomic particle that was taking energy away from nuclear reactions. Since this particle carried no electrical charge, he named it the "neutrino", which literally means "little neutral one". Because this particle is neutral and contains no "rest mass", scientists can measure the amounts of neutrinos being thrown off and thus be able to "see" right into the sun's interior and determine what is occurring right now.
Scientists know how many neutrinos are thrown off during the fusion process of a given mass of hydrogen, from our own many experiments on earth. Therefore, since we know the mass of the sun, it is a simple matter to determine how many neutrinos the sun's nuclear furnace should be throwing off each second, and how many of these particles should be striking a square centimeter of the earth's surface per second. Believe me, the number of neutrinos that should be striking the earth is a tremendous number.
A few years ago, Dr. Raymond Davis of the Brookhaven National Laboratory developed a method of determining the number of neutrinos striking the earth. Dr. Davis created equipment that could detect the number of neutrinos striking the earth, and tested it extensively to ensure that his calculations were correct. After determining that the equipment would, indeed, measure the amount of neutrinos coming from the sun, Dr. Davis and his group of scientists conducted tests over a period of months. They were disappointed to discover that the number of neutrinos was 80 less than it should be, given the mass of the sun! They repeated the tests several more times, with exactly the same results.
"Finally, the meaning of these results struck home. The sun was producing only about one-fifth as many neutrinos as it should be emitting. We were seeing right into the core of the sun ... measuring what was going on right now. Either we did not understand the solar nuclear fusion process, or the sun was being shut down." [Ibid., p. 192]
Scientists were so shocked by this discovery that many of them began to examine other possibilities of how the sun is powered. One of these possibilities is that the suns of our universe are powered by Gravitational Collapse; however, the majority opinion is that fusion is the process by which suns are powered.
If this majority opinion is correct, then the scientists and the political leaders of the world are in a state of absolute panic right now. If our sun is powered by the fusion process, then the reactor furnace core is cold right now, and it is a matter of time before the "sun is darkened" and will not give her light anymore. Hmm, doesn't Jesus predict just this type of occurrence? You bet it does. Listen"
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:" (Matthew 24:29)
Jesus prophesies that, immediately after the 7-year Tribulation Period is concluded, the sun will be darkened and moon will not give off any more light, because He is about to make His glorious entrance into the world, coming as King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Think of the dramatic effect! When the sun and moon go out, the entire world will be plunged into immediate darkness, the blackest darkness anyone on earth can ever imagine. Then, against this terribly dark backdrop, the glorious light of Heaven will suddenly shine forth, and Jesus Christ will return to earth amidst all this Heavenly light, with His saints! His glorious light will shine all the more remarkably because the existing sun will have been totally shut off.
Certainly, God knows exactly when the Antichrist will arise, and when the 7-year Tribulation Period will conclude; therefore, it is an exceedingly small matter for Him to know when to shut the reactor core furnace of our sun off, to accomplish the shutdown at precisely the right second for Jesus Christ to appear. Remember Jesus' statement that only the Father knows the precise time of Jesus' return.
"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." [Matthew 24:32-33]
The major focus of this ministry is to examine all the evidences that the world is passing right now through the period of time where ALL of the End Times' prophecies are being fulfilled, together, as a group. This type of complete group fulfillment of prophecies has never, ever occurred before in world history. Well, now, you can possibly add the darkening of the sun to this list of prophecies uniquely occurring together in world history.
I wonder what the Illuminati must feel about all this. They originally conceived of the Space Program as "Star Seed", a project that would enable mankind to carry his human "seed" to the stars. The Guiding Spirits have long been telling the members of the Illuminati that the earth would run out of raw materials -- oil, gas, minerals, metals -- by the year 2300 A.D. at the latest, and possibly sooner. Therefore, NASA was created with the long-term goal of discovering at least one planet to which mankind could escape before this world runs dry of the necessary ingredients to sustain life as we know it. You can see, therefore, what motivation lies behind the almost insane drumbeat about how our Industrial Civilization is draining Mother Gaia dry, and why Gore insists that the automobile combustion engine poses a greater threat to the existence of mankind than any military threat we will ever face!
Have the Guiding Spirits also been telling the members of the Illuminati inner circle that the sun has been shut down? It seems likely they have, since they have informed them about so many other things occurring or about to occur in the world. In NEWS1260, we reported the Illuminist plan to ignite Jupiter into another sun as a sign in the heavens heralding their coming Antichrist. Now I wonder if the reason they are so intent upon igniting Jupiter is that they know our sun is no longer producing nuclear reactions, and will be going out soon? Of course, if suns are generated by fusion, and not fission or gravitational collapse, then Jupiter cannot be ignited no matter how much nuclear material is thrown into the atmosphere. We concluded a year ago at this time [in March, 1999], that if the Illuminati was going to ignite Jupiter, Satan was going to have to do it with his supernatural power. For Satan to be able to ignite Jupiter, God would have to allow it. But, now it appears that, maybe just maybe, a second sun will be needed, according to the calculations of the Illuminati.
We shall just have to wait and see what happens, but news continues to get more and more exciting, does it not?
Truly, this news that the sun inner reactor furnace has possibly been shut down points us to the inescapable conclusion that we are looking at one more instance where End Times' prophecy is being fulfilled in front of our eyes, in our Daily News. Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.
