INTRODUCTION
The
average viewer of "National Treasure" will never get past the surface
view of the basic storyline. To such people, this movie is just a good action
plot with plenty of action and weird symbols. To the discerning Cutting Edge
viewer, however, much meaning is packed within the plot and the pictures. You
just have to watch carefully, with discernment, to see this hidden "treasure".
I have viewed this movie three (3) times, taking notes during the last viewing.
However, at the outset, let us remind our viewers that we realize many parts of this picture were fictionalized, while other parts are historically accurate. For example, the explanation given the back of the One Dollar Bill is historically accurate, while the sophisticated symbolism on the back of the Declaration of Independence was fiction. However, whoever write the script for that fictional symbolism knew his Satanism/Freemasonry very well. While the reality may be that the back of the Declaration has nothing on it, the symbols shown in this fictional account are real occult symbols with real occult meaning.
In this article, we shall examine the following subjects:
* Knights Templar secret society -- Background and pertinent facts
* Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism
* Masonic use of various methods of deception and subterfuge to avoid detection. Some of these methods are:
1) Building extensive tunnel systems and/or building underground
2) Using sophisticated encryption systems, including ciphers and carefully constructed clues combined with riddles
3) Using sophisticated inking systems which would either disappear after drying and/or could only be viewed under certain circumstances

At the very beginning of "National Treasure", we are told that fighting knights discovered the Treasure beneath Solomon's Temple during the First Crusades. A scene within the movie shows a small group of enthusiastic knights thrusting their swords together simultaneously into the air, as they vow to protect the Treasure. Later scenes tell us that Freemasonry sprang out of Knights Templar. This information is entirely correct, and consistent with the revelations of John J. Robinson, in his book, "Born of Blood: The Lost Secrets of Freemasonry", a book which we cover in NEWS1164, entitled, "Medieval Historian Conclusively Shows That Freemasonry Came From Knights Templar, Not From Christianity". We encourage you to read this book report carefully, for it sheds great light on the true origins of Masonry.
Even though "National Treasure" represents Knights Templar very innocently -- even to the point of showing young Ben Gates being "initiated" into the Order, the reality is that this group was not innocent, but deeply Satanic. But, don't take my word for it; listen to an occult historian himself:
"Baphomet: The goat-idol of the Templars ... Some authorities hold that the Baphomet was a monstrous head, others that it was a demon in the form of a goat ... A pantheistic and magical figure of the Absolute. The torch placed between the two horns, represents the equilibrating, intelligence of the triad. The goat’s head, which is synthetic, and unites some characteristics of the dog, bull, and ass ... The hands are human ... they make the sign of esotericism above and below, to impress mystery on initiates... and they point at two lunar crescents ... The lower part of the body is veiled ... The belly of the goat is scaled ... The goat has female breasts ... On its forehead, between the horns and beneath the torch, is the sign of the microcosm, or the pentagram with one beam in the ascendant ... Two Forms of Baphomet |
Once you realize that the Knights Templar secret society worships the Satanic goat-god, Baphomet, then the ancient charges that they participated in human sacrifice and heinous homosexual activity becomes totally believable. Listen to a Satanist explain the worship of Baphomet:
"The symbol of Baphomet was used by the Knights Templar to represent Satan, and is represented by the right hand symbol. The Baphomet represents the powers of darkness combined with the regenerative fertility of the goat. In its 'pure' form, the pentagram -- left hand symbol -- is shown encompassing the figure of a man in the five points of the star -- three points up, two pointing down symbolizing man's spiritual nature." ["Temple of Satan"]
"In Satanism, the pentagram is also used, but since Satanism represents the carnal instincts of man, or the opposite of the spiritual nature, the pentagram is inverted to perfectly accommodate the head of the goat -- its horns representing duality, thrust upward in defiance, the other three points inverted, or the trinity denied. (Right-hand symbol) The Hebraic figures around the outer circle of the symbol which stem from the magical teachings of the Kabbala, spell our Leviathan, the serpent of the watery abyss, and identified with Satan. These figures correspond with the five points of the inverted star. " [Ibid]
Listen to another Satanist, Anton LaVey of the Satanic Bible, discuss Knights Templar:
"Baphomet -- worshipped by the Templars as symbolic of Satan." [P. 58].

This quote should repudiate all those people who have tried to say that the Knights Templars did not really worship Satan, and that all statements that they worshipped Baphomet were manufactured, or forced by torture. All Freemasons should instantly sit up and take notice, for they glorify and honor the Knights Templar, and defend them mightily ["Morals and Dogma", Albert Pike, Chapter XXX, p. 814-24].
Listen to Christian author, Dr. Cathy Burns:
"The Knights Templar .. had been masters of deception, experts in duplicity, appearing to serve Christ on the surface while worshipping Lucifer within their inner rites. This honor goes so far as to name an order for young Masonic boys, the 'Order of DeMolay'; Jacques DeMolay was the bi-sexual leader of Knights Templar when they were attacked by the French King, Louis XVI and destroyed ["Hidden Secrets of the Eastern Star", by Dr. Cathy Burns, p. 127-130]
Once again, the reality of a subject is found in completely the opposite direction toward which Mass Media is pointing the viewer [NEWS1558]. When the writers of "National Treasure" truthfully told their viewers that Masonry was created by the Knights Templar, the discerning, informed person immediately recognized that Freemasonry is hereby declared Satanic; furthermore, since it is also historically true that so many of our Founding Fathers were Masons, it is then true that America has an ungodly heritage, an opposite side to the coin which tells us that much about our heritage is Godly. The reality is that America's national heritage is like a coin -- with two sides. One side is Godly and one side is Ungodly. That is the absolute truth.
Before
we leave this subject of the worship of Baphomet by the Knights Templars, let
us examine one more aspect: This worship of Baphomet was used mightily in conjuring
demons into this dimension through black magical rites conducted by a powerful
magician. As this picture demonstrates, 33rd Degree Mason, Eliphas Levi, has
just caused a demon -- the evil spirit 'Apollonius of Tyana' -- to enter this
dimension through reading the ritual in his hand; notice the full-figured Baphomet
on the wall to the left of the picture. Please allow Freemason author, Manly
P. Hall, describe the role of Baphomet in the conjuration of evil spirits into
this earthly dimension:
"Ceremonial magic is the ancient art of invoking and controlling spirits by a scientific application of a certain formula. A magician, enveloped in sanctified vestments and carrying a wand inscribed with hieroglyphic figures, could by the power vested in certain words and symbols control the invisible inhabitants of the elements and of the astral world .... Fully convinced that their Scriptures sanctioned it, numerous medieval Qabbalists devoted their lives to the practice of ceremonial magic. The transcendentalism of the Qabbalists is founded upon the ancient and magical formula of King Solomon, who has long been considered by the Jews as the prince of ceremonial magicians." (Manly P. Hall, "The Secret Teachings of All The Ages", Page CI)
As you can see, Freemasons and other occultists readily admit that the Knights Templar worshipped Baphomet; now you know what this type of worship entails, and exactly what kind of Satanists the Knights Templar were. Few people ever realized during this movie that, when young Ben Gates was "initiated" into Knights Templar, he was placing himself under their occultism, and was joining a society which practiced bi-sexuality. How many young Public School children watching this movie will be predisposed to join Masonry later in life, and participate in the Order of Knights Templar?

Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism |
Since the writers of this movie inform us that Freemasonry sprang from Knights Templar, we need to inform you of the missing link in the historical path -- Rosicrucianism, a secret society organized first in the 1400's as a counterfeit Christianity. This society "mystically reinterpreted" most of the tenets of genuine Christianity, including much of its symbolism. Without understanding how Rosicrucianism forms a critical link between Knights Templar and modern-day (1717) Freemasonry, you will not properly understand certain parts of "National Treasure", such as:
1) How Masons were so concerned about their personal safety that they developed elaborate underground construction techniques, creating unbelievable tunnel systems and huge underground buildings, complete with secret passageways, hidden storage rooms, and other security measures which hid all of their activities from the eyes of the "vulgar", i.e., those people not Masons, and most especially from hostile temporal and ecclesiastical authorities.
2) How Freemasonry at the time of the American Revolution could command such high governmental leadership and resources as to produce the elaborate underground buildings and tunnels, the sophisticate encryption system, and the unbelievably intricate symbolism depicted on the back of the Declaration of Independence.
We need to go back to the book by John J. Robinson, "Born In Blood", to pick up this historical story, as we begin to answer Question #1, above:
By carefully examining Masonic teachings, their rituals, and their language origins, Robinson concluded that, "when Pope Clement V conspired with King Phillip of France in 1313 to arrest, try, and annihilate the Knights Templar, some French Templars did escape. Furthermore, Templars in other countries, most notably Britain, were able to escape the dragnet. They gravitated to Scotland, where the Scottish King refused to enforce the Papal Bull against the Templars. Accepting other Templars into their new secret order, and very fearful of betrayal, they did evolve into the Freemasonry we know today. The traditional secret society emphasis on signs and handshakes, and the keeping of secrets makes much sense, as lives were literally at stake." ["Born In Blood"; Page 150-1]
Finally, in 1717, Freemasons felt secure enough to come out into the open and establish public Lodges.
During much of this dark era (1313-1717), Knights Templars were literally hiding for their lives. The Roman Catholic Church desperately wanted to completely annihilate the Order and they pressured every government in Europe and the British Isles to carry out their murderous edicts. Even in Scotland, where the king refused the pressure from the Vatican, these Templars/Freemasons could not rest entirely easy. They knew the intrigues of any palace; they knew that, at any moment, the friendly king could die or be assassinated, and be replaced by a contrary, cold-hearted king who would carry out Rome's wishes.
Furthermore, when Rome got her tentacles on a person, she did not just kill them, she tortured them. In fact, when a king's torturers could not extract a "confession" from a victim, the Vatican's torturers might be called upon. After all, everyone knew that the Pope's torturers were the best in the world! ("Born In Blood: The Lost Secrets of Masonry", by John J. Robinson, P. 148)
In order to protect themselves against the onslaught of the killing and the torturing of religious dissidents, princes in Europe, mostly in today's Germany, developed a counterfeit Christianity called Rosicrucianism, and banded together politically and militarily. While the exact roots of Rosicrucianism have been carefully concealed, historians point back to an obscure book entitled, "The Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosendreutz", written originally in 1459 and translated into English in 1690. This book is the key foundational legend for the Luciferian secret society, the Rosicrucians. Listen to a Rosicrucian explain the key importance of this book to the practicing occultist.
"The 'Chemical Wedding' is one of the archetypal symbols of the Alchemical transformation. There is much work about this subject by many later mystics and authors. Manly Hall devoted an entire chapter to this book in 'Secret Teachings of All Ages' ... The 'Chemical Wedding/Marriage' is the basis for initiation rituals created by the Rosicrucians. It represents the union of the person, the spirit and society." [Philosophical Research Society, Publications Department]
By
the time Martin Luther tacked his "95 Theses" on the door of the Roman
Catholic Church in 1517, written to the Archbishop of Mainz, the Rosicrucian
princes of Germany possessed the military and political muscle with which to
counteract Rome. As the Vatican turned repressive, threatening Luther's life,
he fled to the German Rosicrucian princes for protection. No one has ever been
able to prove that Luther ever converted to Rosicrucianism, but he surely did
develop the symbol here in which a Christian cross is placed inside the center
of a 5-petal Rosicrucian Rose. (NOTE: Sometimes, Rosicrucians used a 7-petal
flower, but most often used the standard 5-Petal)
As I stated, above, Rosicrucianism was developed as a counterfeit Christianity, in which all the major tenets of the faith were mystically reinterpreted. In fact, much of Rosicrucianism was adopted from Roman Catholicism, the very religion the German princes feared and hated. Listen to a very important link in Rosicrucianism between the hunt for the Holy Grail and the Virgin Mary.
"The Grail and the Rose: two streams of wisdom flowing side by side, sometimes entering the same channel and flowing together, sometimes separating to lead into different enchanted byways of the soul ... The Grail ... is surely one of the supreme symbols of the quest for absolutes -- truth, wisdom, healing, union with the Beyond -- to come out of the Western mystery tradition ... But it is the medieval, and specifically Christian, incarnation of the Grail that we are concerned here -- as the chalice in which some of the holy blood of Christ was caught and which was used in the first great celebration of the Christian mysteries of the Eucharist. Here we already see aspects of our theme that will later find restatement in the mysteries of alchemy and their subsequent importance to the Rosicrucian Enlightenment. From the beginning, the Grail was a vessel that contained some of the divinity of God, the very embodiment of the wine in the Eucharist imagery ... it is the very embodiment of that transubstantiation in the mystery of the Eucharist. In the intensity of the Christian interpretation, it is also the womb of Mary, in which the divine seed is transmuted into the body of the infant Christ ... In effect, Mary has become the living Grail, a vessel in which the blood and the essence of Christ are both contained ... In the full spectrum of medieval symbolism, Mary is Queen of Heaven ... Her supreme symbol is the Rose -- Rose of the World, Rosa Alchemica. She is Queen of the Most Holy Rose Garden in which the Grail lay hidden." ["The Rosicrucian Enlightenment", Pages 27-28]

In Europe, the Rosicrucian princes not only protected Martin Luther, but they held the Catholic Church at bay, protecting the right of ordinary men to practice this religion. However, in lands not dominated by the military might of Rosicrucian princes, both Freemasons and Rosicrucians were threatened at every moment of every day with imprisonment, torture and cruel death at the hands of the king of their land who was under the thumb of Rome. To protect themselves, such secret society members insisted upon secret handshakes, symbols, encrypted messages, underground tunnels and entire subterranean buildings to keep themselves safe from Rome. Therefore, all secrecy and all the extensive underground tunnels and entire buildings depicted in "National Treasure" is entirely correct. In order to protect themselves, Freemasons of Europe perfected these arts.

How Freemasonry at the time of the American Revolution could command such high
governmental leadership and resources
The Rosicrucian Enlightenment spread to England as well. In this book, quoted above, "The Rosicrucian Enlightenment", (Page xi) we learn that one of the major Rosicrucians in England was John Dee (1527-1628), who was and adviser and astrologer to Queen Elizabeth I ("Magic Symbols", P. 142). But, the most important Rosicrucian of all time was Sir Frances Bacon, who served Queen Elizabeth I in a post equivalent to Foreign Minister and who served King James I as Attorney General. Freemasons credit Sir Francis Bacon as the Fountainhead of Freemasonry, creating it out of Rosicrucianism ( Manly P. Hall, "The Secret Teachings of All The Ages", Page LXXVIII).
After much study on this subject, I have concluded that Sir Francis Bacon felt the need to re-create Rosicrucianism into Freemasonry because he believed that Rosicrucianism was too overtly "Christian", and could never successfully unite all the religions of the world under the planned Masonic Christ (Antichrist). Therefore, he created the more secular Freemasonry, taking much from the pagan doctrine from Rosicrucianism. Today, Freemasonry is uniting the world, only because it is neutral enough to be adapted to all religions of the world.
According to formerly secret Masonic literature, Sir Francis Bacon created the concept in conjunction with Queen Elizabeth I, that the British Government was to endeavor with all its might and resources to settle the North American Continent as an occult "New Atlantis", which would move the world into their coveted "New World Order". As you listen to Illuminist author, Elizabeth van Buren, explain Great Britain's occult plans for America, note how high-ranking these officials were:
".... Henry Adams had come in 1638 to the shores of this Brave New World. He was a member of a secret Dragon Society ... and was one of the founders of New England. He was to be ancestor of two presidents of the United States, John Adams, the second president, and John Quincy Adams, the sixth president. The Dragon Society to which Henry Adams belonged may have been affiliated with the Rosicrucians. It has been seen that the Serpent or Dragon symbolized Wisdom ... Sir Francis Bacon had formed, with the aid of his secret society -- composed of the most outstanding intellectuals from England, France, Germany and the Netherlands -- the plans for the colonization of the Western Hemisphere. They discreetly passed word around that, here men could escape the political injustice and the religious intolerance which plagued them in Europe ... Amongst those who sailed to the distant shores of America were many representatives of the Order of the Quest, as Manly Hall designates the Brotherhood, amongst them Rosicrucians, alchemists, Cabalists, and Mystics. The French, English, and Dutch colonials who built settlements among the east coast of the continent were indoctrinated with the principles of democracy and religious tolerance by the Brotherhood.
"The plan for the New World Order was under way ... There can be no doubt that the Enlightened Ones had a hand in the formation of the new nation. Thomas Paine, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and countless others were involved in signing the Declaration of Independence were all Freemasons or members of some other sect. The designs for both the Great Seal of the United States ... indicate that they were inspired by those with esoteric knowledge." [Elizabeth van Buren, "The Secret of the Illuminati", p. 142-144]
Do you see how both Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry controlled the highest-ranking members of the leadership of Great Britain, Europe, and the United States -- and had done so since Sir Francis Bacon from 1580 onward? This reality means that enormous resources from the government flowed into creating elaborate encryptions, designs, and methods of concealment. Therefore, when "National Treasure" depicts the most elaborate coding system, comprised of one clue leading to another to another and to another, rest assured that this is exactly what Freemasons of that era did.
When this movie depicts that the major clue was to be found on board a shipping vessel called "The Charlotte" and that the captain of the ship paid with his life to protect the barrel in which the clue was hidden, Freemasonry at that time commanded the power and authority of the state to get that Meerschaum Pipe onboard The Charlotte and to order the Captain to protect the clue with his life.
When "National Treasure" depicts a most elaborate design on the back of the Declaration, which would appear or disappear depending upon the color of the lenses through which the person was looking, Freemasons possessed the resources of the state to enlist that kind of talented artist which could draw this kind of symbol. Further, intelligence services of that time not only protected state secrets with sophisticated encryptions, but with ink which disappeared when it dried.
Therefore, building a fictional plot which called for sophisticated encryptions, drying ink, and incredibly difficult designs is entirely logical, and historically accurate.
NOTE ON "I WITCH" SYMBOL, ABOVE: This symbol originated from a former Illuminist who was gloriously converted to Jesus Christ. He was taught it while he was being trained in the Illuminati Plan. This symbol depicts all the organizations and/or forces by which the Illuminati is gradually changing the world so their Masonic Christ (Antichrist) can arise. Notice that, even though the Illuminati Plan is a worldwide plan, the seals on Satan's altar are the two Great Seals on the back on the American One Dollar Bill. How can this be?
The reality is exactly what grandfather Gates told young Benjamin at the beginning of the movie: the Founding Fathers left clues behind like the Unfinished Pyramid on the back of our One Dollar Bill! Grandfather Gates said this was a symbol of the Knights Templar, which is only partially true; the real truth is that the Unfinished Pyramid with the All-Seeing Eye above it is an Illuminati symbol, of which Knights Templar was a precursor.

Now, let us proceed on to Part 3, where we will discuss the following most interesting subjects related to "National Treasure":
* We shall examine the fact that this movie gave three clues which reveal the elite Skull & Bones secret society
* We shall examine the clock reading at Independence Hall on the back of the $100 Bill
* We shall examine the accurate depiction of Masonic, Rosicrucian, and Knights Templar symbolism used in this movie
* We shall discuss the small clues which lead me to conclude that "National Treasure" was written by Freemasons "in the know"
* We shall see how the quest for the "National Treasure" runs parallel to the "Quest for the Holy Grail".
CONCLUSION -- CONDITIONING FOR THE "GREAT ONE"
We consider this movie to be just one more instance where secrets which have been carefully kept within secret societies for centuries are now suddenly being widely publicized to a public less well informed and more in tune with the values and attitudes of the occult. Since the objective of Antichrist is to restore the worship of Lucifer to public practice, we should not be too surprised to see one occult secret after another and one occult symbol after another, suddenly revealed to the public. Listen to the Satanic plan for Antichrist (Great One) to restore the Luciferian Mysteries to public worship.
"... the Masonic Fraternity...is...the home of the Mysteries, and the seat of the initiation...It is a far more occult organization than can be realized and is intended to be the training school for the coming advanced occultists... When the Great One comes with His disciples and initiates, we shall have the restoration of the Mysteries..." "("Externalisation of the Hierarchy", p. 511). In other words, the Great One, the Anti-Christ will restore the ancient Mysteries, which the Masonic Lodge has preserved these many centuries, as his New World Order Religion.
Now, listen to Alice Bailey state this truth more succinctly:
""There is no question, therefore, that the work to be done in familiarising the general public with the nature of the Mysteries is of paramount importance at this time. These Mysteries will be restored to outer expression through the medium of the Church and the Masonic Fraternity ... When the Great One comes with His disciples and initiates we shall have ... the restoration of the Mysteries and their exoteric presentation as a consequence of the first initiation." [Ibid., Page 514]
Did you catch that phrase? At the end of the preparatory period leading to the New World Order, Freemasons are to take the lead in "familiarising the general public with the nature of the Mysteries"!
Isn't this exactly what "National Treasure" does? It not only familiarizes adults with the Masonic Occult Mysteries, but children as well; since the movie is rated "PG", a lot of kids are seeing this movie. We have even had subscribers contact us, telling us that, when they saw the movie, they were shocked to see school buses in the parking lot, having brought dozens of children from the public school.
Truly, the time has come to "familiarize the public" with Masonic and occult symbols, for the hour when Antichrist is going to come is getting very close. Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.
