HISTORICAL REALITY
Time after time, American Christian voters justified voting for President Bush as the "lesser of two evils" because they believed he would nominate pro-Life, anti-Abortion judges for the Supreme Court; millions upon millions of emails and letters were sent to Christian voters, telling them that between one to three Supreme Court vacancies could occur during the next four years. Since Senator Kerry is blatantly pro-Abortion versus President Bush's silent pro-Abortion stance, undiscerning American Christian voters felt that Bush would be more likely to appoint pro-Life, anti-Abortion judges.
At the time, I felt that such emphasis was historically wrong, since supposedly "Conservative" Presidents have always disappointed. For example, President Reagan was, and is, the darling of Conservative and/or Christian voters, but he nominated Sandra Day O'Connor to the Supreme Court despite her clear Liberal record regarding both Gay issues and Abortion. When the Supreme Court decided on June 26, 2003, to legalize Sodomy, Reagan-appointee O'Connor voted in favor of this horribly degrading decision. In fact, most of the "Liberal" members of the Supreme Court who have made all these 'activist' judicial decisions which have made Conservatives and Christians so very angry were nominated by Republican Presidents! Did you know that? Listen:
"Conservatives are justifiably concerned about activist judges forcing 'gay marriage' upon the public, but their commonly proposed remedy is more of what ails them. It was Republican presidents who appointed four of the six U.S. Supreme Court justices who voted to strike down Texas's law banning sodomites from having sex." Therefore, the remedy Conservatives are being given to overturn Abortion laws and to solve the judicial activism, which is re-making this country into a strong anti-Christian culture, is a false remedy. Christians and/or Conservatives have been voting since Ronald Reagan (over 20 years now) with this goal in mind! We are always disappointed and yet we never learn. Therefore, President Bush cannot be relied upon to appoint judges who will vote to overturn Roe va Wade. In fact, a Texas Governor, George W. Bush, appointed pro-abortion judges! (Ibid.)
Let us review some other most heinous instances where a "Liberal" Court was comprised of justices who were appointed by Republican presidents.
"Let us learn from the history of Republican judicial appointments. Republicans Presidents have a long-history of appointing liberal justices. Six of the nine Supreme Court justices that gave us abortion-on-demand with the 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision were appointed by Republicans. The vote was seven to two in favor of Roe, and one of the dissenting votes was cast by a Democratic-appointee! Seven of the nine justices presently on the Supreme Court, that has reinforced Roe v. Wade, were appointed by Republicans."
"It was the Republicans who gave us judicial appointments that resulted in abortion-on-demand throughout all months of pregnancy for any reason. Not the Democrats. Republicans appointed the vast majority of the Court that gave us the following judicial decisions as well:
> banned school prayer
> declared sodomy a constitutional 'right'
> declared Nebraska couldn’t outlaw partial birth abortion
> declared Congress couldn’t legislate to protect children from pornography on cable television
> declared that a Michigan law school could use race as a factor in admission
> declared that incumbent politicians could restrict free speech of their subjects before election.
"With “conservative” appointments like these, who needs liberal appointments?" (Ibid.)
Therefore, can you see clearly now that re-electing Republican President Bush will not produce any meaningful swing in the Court's position on Abortion?
BUSH - THROWING THE DAGGER INTO THE CHRISTIAN HEART
A re-elected President Bush lost no time throwing a dagger into the heart of his Christian constituents. He appointed a pro-abortion judge as Attorney General.
NEWS BRIEF: "Bush picks Gonzales as new Attorney General", New Zealand Herald, 11/11/2004
"WASHINGTON - President Bush has picked White House legal counsel Alberto Gonzales, a trusted adviser from Texas and prominent Hispanic, as his new attorney general ... If confirmed by the Republican-controlled Senate, Gonzales, 49, would be the first Hispanic-American to become the country's top law-enforcement official. He would replace Attorney General John Ashcroft, whose resignation was announced yesterday."
This news article did not mention anything about Gonzales' position on Abortion, but other publications picked up on this issue immediately.
NEWS BRIEF: "Pro-lifers not thrilled with Gonzales choice: Bush's pick for attorney general upheld abortion on Texas court", WorldNetDaily, November 10, 2004
"Pro-life activists are criticizing President Bush's choice of Alberto Gonzales to replace John Ashcroft as attorney general, worrying the White House counsel will not aggressively uphold the administration's anti-abortion stance. Gonzales is a former member of the Texas Supreme Court, where he voted to allow a teenager to get an abortion without notifying her parents, circumventing the notification law in that state ... Chuck Baldwin, a pastor and columnist, slammed Gonzales, citing the Texas case and stating, 'Gonzales is anything but pro-life'."
Did you catch the most important point? Alberto Gonzales voted to circumvent existing law in the state of Texas! When a Judge of a State Supreme Court votes to override clear law instead of just interpreting that law, this nation is in real trouble. Texas law forbade a pregnant teen to get an abortion without notifying her parents. The law was firm and unambiguous. Yet, Judge Gonzales voted to side-step that firm, clear law. If an ordinary citizen side-steps a law, we call him a criminal and arrest him; but when a sitting judge does the same thing, he is merely called an "activist judge".
Not only is this judicial activism at its worst -- which President Bush says he will not allow -- but Gonzales identified himself by his decision as a bold Liberal pro-abortionist.
At least one anti-Abortion organization got it right:

"President Bush appears to be doing all that he can to downright ignore pro-life principle. There can be no other explanation for his recommendation of Alberto Gonzales as attorney general. Gonzales has a record, and that record is crystal clear. As a Texas Supreme Court justice, Gonzales' rulings implied he does not view abortion as a heinous crime ... Gonzales' position is clear: the personhood of the preborn human being is secondary to technical points of law, and that is a deadly perspective for anyone to take."
"President Bush claims he wants to assist in bringing about a culture of life. Such a culture begins with total protection for every innocent human being from the moment that person's life begins. Within the short period of one week, the president has been silent on pro-abortion Sen. Arlen Specter's desire to chair the senate judiciary committee, and has spoken out in favor of a judge with a pro-abortion track record to lead the Justice Department.
"Why is President Bush betraying the babies?" - Let me repeat that sentence: "Why is President Bush betraying the babies?"
This last sentence should wake up every Christian who voted for President Bush in 2004, for it succinctly captures the true heart of the President. His "Conservatism" and his "Christianity" are just meaningless labels designed to throw doubt and confusion into the matter rather than serving as a short-cut means by which to accurately describe the general positions of the politician. One of the reasons Conservatives and Christians are so gullible these days is because they actually believe such labels carry real meaning, not understanding that these labels are created by expert propagandists as a means by which to mislead the undiscerning and the over-trusting citizen.
One secular author pours derision upon all Christians who foolishly voted for Bush's re-election.
NEWS BRIEF: "MEMO TO THE 'CHRISTIANS' WHO VOTED FOR BUSH: YOU'VE BEEN HAD", Mary Starrett, News With Views, November 14, 2004
"Today's appointment of long time Bush friend and White House counsel Alberto Gonzalez to replace John Ashcroft as United States Attorney General should render you apoplectic- but sadly it won't. This 'pro-life' President just appointed a rabid pro-abort as the nation's top cop. You see, Alberto Gonzalez is the man who wrote the Texas Supreme Court decision to allow a minor girl to have an abortion without her parent's consent. Feeling a bit silly, my 'Christian' friends? Perhaps you were mistaken about the 'moral values' your candidate possessed? Perhaps you just didn't do your homework."
We have learned that many a Christian pastor spoke in favor of Bush from their pulpit, saying that his morality was head-and-shoulders above that of Senator John Kerry. Based upon this supposed "morality" edge, these pastors urged their people to vote for the President's re-election. No one spoke of the immorality of the many evil fruits the President exhibited during his first four years. In fact, most Christians are not even aware of these very evil fruits.
However, Mary Starret of News With Views seems to be very aware of Jesus' admonition to examine a person's fruits as the only reliable basis for determining whether that person was Born Again,. or a counterfeit Christian who will hear from the Lord on Judgment Day, "Depart from me, I never knew you". Listen to Starrett's closing comments:
"Feeling silly, those of you who voted for the 'moral values' candidate? Alberto Gonzalez as Attorney General? Soon after Bush's re-election a map of the crimson-colored states circulated on the internet. The Bush states were referred to as 'Jesusland'. The very same Jesus who said 'and ye shall know them (my followers) by their fruits'? Indeed." (Ibid.)
Over one year ago, Cutting Edge issued a series of four key articles based on the fact that unthinking Christians were believing Bush was a Christian based solely on his testimony. If you have not yet read these important articles, please take a moment to do so, for only then will you realize how correct Mary Starrett is in her article, quoted above.

In so many ways, America is on a parallel path with Nazi Germany from 1933-1945 (NEWS1004 - "Parallels Between Nazism and Bush/Clinton/Bush New World Order"). I guess we should not be too surprised to see that American Christians are just as deceived by Bush's claim to be Born Again as Germans were confused by Adolf Hitler's identical claim. Christians today are refusing to apply Jesus' clear command to not accept a person's verbal claims to be a Christian, but must examine his fruits first (Matthew 7:16-20); rather, foolish Christians and their blind leaders merely accept the President's testimony, even after being shown his many, many evil fruits.
God is speaking to all such Christians through the annals of time: "Who virtually say to the seers by their conduct, See not! and to the prophets, Prophesy not to us what is right! Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceitful illusions. Get out of the true path, turn aside out of the path, cease holding up before us the Holy One of Israel." (Isaiah 30:10-11; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]
"Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceitful illusions." Let us continue to believe President Bush is a Christian. Stop holding up before us the Holy One of Jesus and His Words to examine fruits. Our minds are so made up we do not want to be confused with facts.
With Christians this blind and disobedient to God's Word, is it any wonder that God always begins His judgment at His Church? (Ezekiel 9)
CONCLUSION
Once President Reagan won re-election in 1984, he began to suddenly veer to the Left. He systematically fired every one of his truly Conservative Cabinet members, replacing them with "Moderate" to "Liberal" Republicans, all cast in the Rockefeller mold. Likewise, his policies began to veer Leftward. Once Reagan was free of the burden of running for re-election, his true colors began to show forth boldly.
Likewise, now that President Bush no longer has to run for re-election, we are going to see his true colors boldly and terribly. His election triumph has placed a stamp of voter approval on all his actions of the first term. The result will probably be much more of the same foreign policy intervention which we saw in his first term. So many regimes need to be changed yet, and so many Non-Integrating States need to be overthrown by this Republican President.
We have much to fear from President Bush and his second term. Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, but have come to realize His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to accept His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can also do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you accept Him as Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually.
