NEWS BRIEF:  "Concern over microchip implants:  New technology getting under some people's skin", By Jon E. Dougherty, 1999, World Net Daily.com.

Before we get started studying this staggering news story, let us review the Bible prophecy that makes this news so very, very shocking.  I believe it highly possible -- even to say probable -- that over 90% of all people today are so Biblically ignorant they simply do not know exactly what the Mark of the Beast is.  Therefore, they would have no idea of the implications of taking a step that is spiritual in nature, that would be irrevocable, and would result in being cast into the Lake of Fire in Hell for eternity. 

Let us review this Scripture:

"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast,saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

"... And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads : And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.[666]." [Revelation 13:11-18]

This is God's warning to all mankind about the Mark of the Beast at the End of the Age, and it is found only in the Book of Revelation!  Therefore, if you are a member of any group or church that teaches the Book of Revelation should not be in the Bible, or that it has already been fulfilled, you need to change your mind right now! Satan has tried very hard to convince men of all ages that the Book of Revelation is bogus, because several important prophecies are found only there, including this most critical identification of the Mark of the Beast , as this mark has come to be popularly called.

Please note several important factors about this passage:

1.  The second "beast" coming out of the land is following the first beast of Revelation 13:1-10, which is Antichrist. This second beast is called the False Prophet [False Religious Leader]

2.  This second beast is a "Christian" religious leader.  He is prophesied to be such by the identifying words, "he had two horns like a lamb".  This is an obvious reference to the "Lamb that was slain", Jesus Christ. When he arises to encourage people to worship Antichrist, he will be popularly viewed as a Christian leader.  Of course, the New Age Movement has already selected this leader, as we discovered in NEWS1052; he is the Roman Catholic Pope .

3.  This False Prophet is the same demonically possessed person Antichrist is, as is demonstrated by the fact that he possesses the same occult power of Antichrist.

4.  The main function of this False Religious Prophet is to convince all the peoples of the world to worship Antichrist. He creates a statute in the newly constructed Temple that speaks, probably looking just like Antichrist.  Anyone who will not fall down to worship this statue will be killed. 

5.  The ultimate form of worship of the Antichrist is the implantation of this "mark" in either the right hand or the forehead.  The punishment for not accepting this "mark" will be death, because no one who refuses to take this "mark" will be able to buy the food or other necessities of life that would enable them to continue to live.

6.  Too many people think Antichrist is the one forcing people to take this "mark".  The leader who forces everyone in the world to take this "mark" is the False Prophet, thereby alerting you to the fact that the primary purpose of this "mark" is to demonstrate personal loyalty to, and spiritual worship of, Antichrist.  Indeed, despite the fact that people will be conditioned mightily prior  to the appearance of Antichrist to all of the economic advantages of taking an implantation under the skin, once Antichrist arises, the implantation of his "mark" will be spiritual in nature. 

People who take this mark will literally be demonstrating their worship of Antichrist, and they will know it.

Thus, we can better understand the reaction from Almighty God, found in Revelation 14:9-11.  "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

The final point you need to understand about this whole matter can be found in Daniel 12:10b, "none of the wicked shall understand". 

Thus, you can easily see that this taking of the "mark" of Antichrist will be a spiritual commitment to him. This is the reason God has decreed that the False Religious Prophet will be the leader in persuading all the peoples of the world to worship Antichrist. 

NEW WORLD ORDER PLANS FULFILL PROPHECY OF

MARK OF THE BEAST

From New Age writings, we can see how this Biblical prophecy is planned to be fulfilled to the letter.  Christian author Constance Cumbey, writing in her very important book, Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow, describes this plan to force the implantation of the Mark of the Beast.

Soon after The Christ has arisen, he will announce that a world-wide Initiation Ceremony will be held.  People will gather in local communities and large cities, utilizing all kinds of public gathering places, such as football stadiums, basketball arenas, high school gymnasiums, and "enlightened" Christian churches -- the ones who are members of the current Ecumenical Movement .  Author Alice A. Bailey notes that, because the numbers of people to participate in this Initiation Ceremony is going to be so huge, they will have to take advantage of each and every area in which people can be gathered.

The purpose of this ceremony is to "reinstate the mysteries" religion to "public expression", just as Alice Bailey predicted a half-century ago in her book, The Externalisation of the Hierarchy .  In other words, Antichrist is going to reinstate the public worship of Satan, with the first step being the public initiation of all the peoples in the world into the first ever global Satanic coven.  This ceremony will the same as one performed during the night of the Full Moon, when a neophyte undergoes the Initiation Ceremony to make him or her a full member of a coven.

At the end of this Initiation Ceremony, people will pass one by one past an official who will ask them to take an electronic chip under their skin [and probably visible through the skin] as a visible symbol of their spiritual love for, and loyalty to, Antichrist.  People will be able to choose whether they want this symbol to be implanted in their right hand or their forehead.  Thus will prophecy be fulfilled.

MASSIVE CONDITIONING IN THE PREPARATORY PERIOD

In the immediate period leading up to the actual appearance of Antichrist, a lot of conditioning will have to occur to convince people that taking an implantation of an electronic chip will be a good thing.  This campaign of conditioning will have to occur for several reasons:

1.  Even in this Biblically ignorant world, a lot of people still understand that the implantation of some sort of "Mark" is a devil-inspired idea.  While most of these people will have been taken in the Rapture of the Church, Antichrist will still have to contend with a relatively large number of people who will remember what the Mark is. 

2.  Since the implanted computer chip may be visible through the skin, many people will object to it marring their features, especially if they take the mark in their forehead.  Attractive women, especially, will be averse to having the implantation in their forehead. Therefore, preparatory conditioning will be carried out to get people used to the forehead mark.  After Antichrist arises and becomes so very popular, many people will look at the mark as a sign of value, something to be coveted, to be desired.

3.  Many people have an aversion to implanting anything under their skin, fearing health complications further down the road.  These type of people will need prior conditioning to convince them that they need not fear health complications.

4.  Many people have an aversion to marking their skin at all,  even with tattoos.  This Mark of the Beast may actually look like a tattoo, at least at a distance.

5.  Perhaps the largest single area of conditioning may occur in the economic arena.  People will be told of all the economic benefits that will occur once they take this Mark.  No longer will they lose any credit cards, nor can any thief steal a credit card.  No longer will they need separate accounts that complicate matters, for the Mark can consolidate all accounts -- credit, debit, banking, mortgages -- into one single account.

We find it highly interesting that the Bible specifically mentions the economic result of NOT taking this Mark of the Beast.  "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads : And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark." Therefore, on the basis of this Scripture, we can expect that much of the conditioning to taking the Mark will be economic.

CURRENT TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST POSSIBLE

Now that we have examined the Prophetic aspects of the Mark of the Beast, let us examine the shocking news of this most recent conditioning to take the Mark of the Beast.

As noted in the beginning of this article, WorldNetDaily carried a story of recent scientific advances in the area of chip implantation under the skin.  I was shocked at the story, as I think you will be also.

"Researchers say the technology is currently available to implant biometric devices in human beings, which can be monitored by government satellites and utilized by private industry. In fact some developers are currently attempting to bring the technology to the public and private sector.  Though not yet generally available to the public, trials of sub-skin implants have been underway for nearly a year. For instance, the London Times reported in October 1998, '... Film stars and the children of millionaires are among 45 people, including several Britons, who have been approached and fitted with the chips (called the Sky Eye) in secret tests.' "

I have read that Italian film stars, celebrities, and the very wealthy, were taking skin implants as a means to protect themselves in the event of kidnapping.  Their whereabouts could be easily and quickly determined by police, who would then rescue them.  However, this type of skin implantation would probably be in an area of the body not readily seen, so that the kidnappers would not realize their victims were fitted with such devices.  Obviously, a person taking this type of implantation would not be committing the sin spoken of in Revelation 13 and 14, because they did not take the mark because of spiritual loyalty to Antichrist.  However, I am equally sure that no person familiar with prophecy would ever allow themselves, nor their children, to be implanted.

Another factor in persuading film stars and the wealthy to take implantation is that millions upon millions of people worldwide are so adoring of such "beautiful people" that they would could be persuaded to take such marks so they can be just like their idols.

"Critics, however, are worried about the increased support such devices are receiving because of the
inherent risk to individual privacy. They contend that several governments, including the U.S., possess the
ability to monitor such devices and, as a consequence, [monitor] the people who have them -- even though they may not be wanted for a crime, listed as a missing person, or considered dangerous in any way." 

All oppressive, dictatorial governments have longed to be able to exercise such close control over their subjects.  Twentieth Century dictatorships have almost perfected the role of the Secret Police to carry out extreme measures of control over their people.  Of course, the most important single aspect of control is knowing who is doing what and when they are doing it.  Dissidents who were implanted would no longer be able to hide any of their activities.  Think about your privacy for a moment:  anonymity is of paramount importance in maintaining your private freedoms.  Wanting to maintain anonymity should be of extreme importance to everyone, including those people who have committed no crime, or who have not even contemplated committing a crime. 

This technology will take that precious anonymity away from you.  By the way, did you know that the technology being utilized on toll roads today also takes anonymity away?  If police wanted to trace your movements on state roads, they could easily do so by utilizing the scanners they have in their cars.  They would simply find out what your particular number is in the toll system, and activate that number.  They could see where you are at that moment, and could track your car anywhere it goes.  This deprivation of privacy is the reason I continue to wait in toll lanes rather than getting my car "implanted" with these sensing devices.

"A recent study of microchip implantation technology, written by Elaine M. Ramish for the Franklin Pierce
Law Center, examined at length the ethical issue of privacy, which engulfs every debate surrounding implanted biometric devices. The study provided details about current research and development as well as
marketing plans developers are likely to use to "sell" the idea to a generally skeptical American public and U.S. Congress. In her study, though, Ramish said she believes the implementation of such devices will eventually become a reality despite their controversial identification role. But, she said, the concept is not a new one; other researchers have advocated the widespread use of biometric identification devices as early as 1967."

This revelation that people have been advocating use of implantable biometric identification devices as far back as 1967 is the first confirmation that New Age writers were correct when they stated this to be a fact. 

" 'Although microchip implantation might be introduced as a voluntary procedure, in time, there will be pressure to make it mandatory,' Ramish wrote in her research paper entitled, Time Enough? Consequences of Human Microchip Implantation."

Did you catch that little word, "mandatory" in this statement above?  Even without the appearance of Antichrist on the world scene, writers and "thinkers" today are calling for mandatory skin implantation. Of course, such calls today will seem ludicrous, and most certainly will fail.  However, according to the Six Step Attitudinal Change Plan, this call today will begin the process of debate that will result in widespread acceptance of skin implantation once Antichrist does arrive [If you are not familiar with the Six Step Attitudinal Change Plan, read NEWS1055]

" 'A national identification system via microchip implants could be achieved in two stages,' she said. 'Upon
introduction as a voluntary system, the microchip implantation will appear to be palatable. After there
is a familiarity with the procedure and a knowledge of its benefits, implantation would be mandatory.' Indeed, of the test cases in Great Britain, so far benefactors have reported no negative consequences."

"Ramish believes that 'legislative protection(s) for individual rights' should be enacted by Congress and
signed into law before any such devices could be brought to market." What a joke this proposal is!  Just because Congress enacts a law "protecting individual rights" is no guarantee that a government would follow the law!  We have more than 20,000 laws on the books in Federal, State, and Local levels, that seek to control the acquisition of guns, and yet we continually hear more calls for more laws, because the ones in place now are not working, most often simply because they are not enforced.

However, a government eager to see the legalization and widespread acceptance of such implantation devices would be willing and even eager to enact such "protection", knowing that they will never really follow the law, and could even rescind the law's protection under certain circumstances.  At this point, individual citizens would be saddled with the law requiring skin implantation without the personal privacy protection they thought they had obtained.

Since human nature is inherently evil [Jeremiah 17:9], we know that this skin implantation technology will be used for evil purposes, even if the plan to produce Antichrist were not in existence. 

"In her paper, Ramish said recent polls have found that if guaranteed certain privacy protections, the number of Americans who would be willing to accept a medical information implant 'rose by 11 percent'. Such
tracking devices have already been available to pet owners for nearly ten years, and biometric devices such as fingerprint scanners are quietly making their way into the public sector. Ramish noted that a few U.S. firms were already developing, or had developed, implantable biometric devices capable of "read only, read-write and read-write with tracking" abilities. IBM, Hughes Aircraft, and Dallas Semiconductor are among several
firms Ramish said currently were working to develop such systems ..."

Libertarian Party Communications Director, George Getz, said he believes the inevitability of such a
device lies in 'the government's ability to make living a normal life without one impossible.' Though the chip
implantation procedure might legally remain voluntary, he said it's very likely that government at all levels
would eventually force everyone to have one. "After all, the government has never forced anyone to have a driver license," he said. "But try getting along without one, when everyone from your local banker to
the car rental man to the hotel operator to the grocery store requires one in order for you to take advantage
of their services."

"That amounts to a de facto mandate," he said. "If the government can force you to surrender your fingerprints to get a drivers license, why can't it force you to get a computer chip implant? These are differences in degree, not in kind -- which is why it's essential to fight government privacy invasions from the outset."

While we commend Mr. Getz for his insight into the way in which governments operate slowly and gradually to get you under the type of control they want to exercise over you, we can also lament the fact that his objections to skin implantation are not based in any way upon Biblical prophecy.  Indeed, those who are not saved, will never understand the tremendous Biblical implications of the advance of this technology.

Not everyone is opposed to the idea, however. Here is where the conditioning begins:

"Amitai Etzioni, Director of a group known as the Communitarian Network and a professor of Sociology
at George Washington University, believes there are definite benefits to society using biometric
technology. In an article published recently, Etzioni -- who has written extensively on the issue of privacy -- said, 'Opposition to these new technologies is particularly troubling given that the benefits are considerable. Once biometric devices are more fully developed, and as unit costs decline ... a person may forget his
password, pin number and access code, and leave his ID card and keys at home,' wrote Etzioni."

"A spokesman on science and technology issues at the Communitarian Network, who also requested
anonymity, confirmed that the organization -- and Mr. Etzioni specifically -- 'has done extensive work on
researching the benefits to society of biometric technology. Communities ... stand to reap considerable benefits. Once biometric devices are widely deployed, they will make it much more difficult for
the estimated 330,000 criminals to remain on the lam. These fugitives not only avoid trial and incarceration
but also often commit additional crimes while they roam the country with little concern."

"The group also expresses support for all forms of biometric technology -- from scanners to implants --
as a way to increase benefits to child care facilities, decrease losses to businesses, and protect Americans
who now fall prey to identity theft."

This pretty much covers the full, broad spectrum of the "benefits" to society and the individual that the skin implantation devices would bring.  We can expect that this type of continued conditioning will occur right up until the time Antichrist arises to make it really mandatory, and forcing that everyone take HIS mark, and limiting the location on their body to either the forehead or the right hand.

STRONG VISUAL CONDITIONING TO ACCEPT THE MARK OF THE BEAST

But, of course, the real movers and shakers behind skin implantation know full well that their Christ will mandate a precise location of his mark.  Therefore, we are beginning to see shocking conditioning of a mark being placed in the forehead of people, especially the "beautiful" people of this world.

In this nearly unbelievable photo, a young beautiful model is shown with a fast-forward button in the middle of her forehead.  Satan is truly pulling the strings of this old world, as he is causing the themes to be presented that he needs as he is pulling his One-World System together. This advertisement is appearing in magazines throughout the country right now. [August, 1999]

A picture is truly worth a thousand words, is it not?  Carefully compare this photo with Revelation 13:16 to get a true indication as to how close we are to the End of the Age, the end of all things relating to this current Dispensation.  

This photo, in addition to this story of technological advances making the entire scenario possible, gives us one more very strong sign that the appearance of Antichrist is very close. 

Are you spiritually ready? Is your family? Are you adequately protecting your loved ones? This is the reason for this ministry, to enable you to first understand the peril facing you, and then help you develop strategies to warn and protect your loved ones. Once you have been thoroughly trained, you can also use your knowledge as a means to open the door of discussion with an unsaved person. I have been able to use it many times, and have seen people come to Jesus Christ as a result. These perilous times are also a time when we can reach many souls for Jesus Christ, making an eternal difference.
