John 5:43 – “I am come in My Father’s Name and you receive me not; but another will come and him you will receive”

that Israel, the nation, will receive Antichrist. This prophecy was a devastating to the ruling class of that day, because they were rejecting Jesus as the foretold Messiah. Jesus seemed to be mocking them, saying that, since they are rejecting Him as Israel’s Messiah, their descendents were doomed to be deceived by Antichrist.

The Pharisees were extremely knowledgeable of the Old Testament, so they were without excuse when they rejected Jesus as Messiah. Jesus fulfilled every single one of the 300+ prophecies of Messiah.

Now, Israel awaits the final, and the ultimate, deception – their religious leaders will be thoroughly deceived into thinking that the coming Antichrist is the true Messiah for whom the Jews have been awaiting for 3,000 years!
