Resources to aid your Understanding

TITLE: PEACE AND TRANQUILITY

Subtitle: Have You Had A Good Night's Sleep Lately?

As the pace of daily life continues to gain momentum (and spin out of control for millions of people), true peace of heart and mind is an elusive goal sought by most, but found by only a relative few. Steadily increasing numbers of alcoholics and drug addicts--along with an insatiable appetite for material things and social status--bear mute testimony to the misery being experienced.  Hordes of fanatics pursue sports and entertainment as diversions from reality, but when problems are being ignored and not properly addressed they only multiply. And the stress generated by this frantic pace is a major contributing factor to the currently astronomical rate of divorce. Marriages are falling apart, families are disintegrating and heartache abounds.

Have you been infected with this deadly virus? If so, please allow me to tell you about the antidote which affords a degree of peace that literally transcends human understanding! Taking it will not make your problems disappear, but it will enable you to cope with them without breaking under the load.

The only answer to what ails us is the salvation offered in the Bible. While it is true that alternative solutions/religions abound, the "cures" supposedly obtained by using them are few and far between. Whereas by contrast, millions continue to testify to the life changing peace that comes by receiving Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

"And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus" Philip. 4:7 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified, emphasis mine).

It has been said that the best advertisement is a satisfied customer, because when we find a product that really works, we will tell others about it. And that philosophy is mirrored in the following Words the Lord said to His apostles only moments before He ascended back into heaven:

"But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth. :Acts 1:8 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified).

So does it seem at all reasonable to you that people would spread the message if there had been no benefit to them? Would I be likely to waste hours of my time writing articles (for which I receive no monetary compensation) if I had not personally experienced the supernatural peace that transcends human reasoning? Unfortunately, some unscrupulous preachers use their positions to enrich themselves at the expense of others, but the overwhelming majority of the Lord's witnesses are not ordained ministers. So what possible reason could all of them have for wanting to share the news with others, if it is not because they have experienced something wonderful themselves? Human nature is such that promises of eternal bliss based upon how many good works one does in this lifetime will motivate some to personal piety, but rarely do adherents of that non-scriptural view seek to recruit others! Experience shows that only when a life has been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit of God does it exhibit a desire to see others share in the wonderful benefits of His salvation.

If anyone has taken the time to reflect upon what is going on in the world today, surely they must realize we are sitting on a powder keg far larger and more powerful than was the case prior to World War II. The economic situation continues to be perilous in spite of apparent growth statistics and terrorism is spreading like a cancer. The spectre of nuclear war once again looms over us as China, North Korea, and Iran are "rattling the saber" and making thinly veiled threats to use such weapons. All of which are legitimate reasons for concern and when added to the mix of daily life makes a recipe for sleepless nights.

Worry is a blight on the human condition and afflicts nearly everyone at times, but when a soul is safe in the arms of Jesus Christ there is an inner peace that the cares of this world cannot penetrate for long. It is truly the "peace that transcends understanding" and is unexplanable to all who have not experienced it for themselves. All I can tell you is that no matter how bad things get and how tempted I am to fret about them (to which I must confess that I yield from time to time), it is never very long after asking the Lord for help that I receive a calmness of heart and begin to resolve the issues. This special verse of Scripture always comes to mind in the process:

"We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose" Romans 8:28 (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified, emphasis mine).

As a born again child of God, everything that happens to me or is brought to bear upon me is either caused by God or allowed by Him to take place. And knowing that 100% of it is for my ultimate good makes "taking the medicine" much easier to do. Not only do I have peace with God because of the sacrificial death of His Son on my behalf, but I also have the peace of God constantly available to calm me and see me through the storms of life. And please note that I did not say His peace would keep me from the storms, but that it would see me through them. As someone has aptly said, "What does not kill me makes me stronger." The toughening of God's saints is not always pleasant, but it is definitely necessary to equip us for His service.

If you are at the end of your rope and hanging on for dear life--what do you have to lose? You can either dismiss this as being the typical rant of a deluded "do-gooder" or seek the peace for which so many desperately yearn.  So I urge you to click on the "Salvation Page" link below and read what it has to say. Perhaps this will be the day in which you will be able to "turn the corner" and get the help you need in coping with your problems.

If you have been born again and received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, but have been very lukewarm in your spiritual walk with Him, you need to immediately ask Him for forgiveness and for renewal. He will instantly forgive you, and fill your heart with the joy of the Holy Spirit. Then, you need to begin a daily walk of prayer and personal Bible Study.

If you have never placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, but have come to sense His reality and the approaching End of the Age, and want to receive His FREE Gift of Eternal Life, you can do so now, in the privacy of your home. Once you truly believe in Him as Lord and Savior, you are spiritually Born Again, and are as assured of Heaven as if you were already there. Then, you can rest assured that the Kingdom of Antichrist will not touch you spiritually. If you would like to become Born Again, turn to our Salvation Page now.

We hope you have been blessed by this ministry, which seeks to educate and warn people, so that they can see the coming New World Order—Kingdom of Antichrist—in their daily news.
